以乙腈为有机溶剂,以高纯纳米稀土氧化物CeO2为无机填料,采用溶液浇铸法制备了(PEO1)0Li-ClO4-x%(质量分数)CeO2(x=0、2、6、9、12、15)全固态复合聚合物电解质(CPE)薄膜。交流阻抗测试表明,适量添加CeO2可有效抑制PEO结晶并拓展锂离子传输所需的无定形区域,从而使CPE薄膜的离子电导率有明显提升,当CeO2的含量为9%(质量分数)时,CPE的离子电导率达到最大值,25℃时为1.71×10-5S/cm,但过量CeO2对锂离子传输具有一定的阻碍,XRD图像证实了这一结论。同时,CeO2的引入可很好地分散和传递应力,对CPE的韧性有明显增强作用,当CeO2的含量为15%(质量分数)时,拉伸强度达到2.07MPa,提高了4.45倍。

This report was to evaluate the efficacy of lipoic acid,prostaglandin E1 and methylcobalamin(L+P+M) for the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN) in comparison with that of prostaglandin E1 plus methylcobalamin(P+M),in order to provide the basis and reference for clinical rational drug *** controlled trials(RCTs) of L+P+M for DPN published up to August 3,2014 were searched.A random or fixed effect model was used to analyse outcomes which were expressed as risk ratios(RRs) or mean difference(MD) with a 95% confidence interval(CI).Eighteen RCTs with 1,410 participants were *** efficacy of L+P+M therapy was significantly better than P+M therapy(fifteen trials;RR 1.32,95% CI 1.24 to 1.41,P<0.00001,2=32%).Compared with P+M therapy,the pooled effects of L+P+M therapy on nerve conduction velocities(NCVs) were(fifteen trials;MD 4.70,95% CI 3.77 to 5.63,P<0.00001,2=79%) for median MNCV,(thirteen trials;MD 4.73,95% CI 3.69 to 5.77,P<0.00001,2=85%) for median SNCV,(sixteen trials;MD 4.22,95% CI 3.32 to 5.12,P<0.00001,2=83%) for peroneal MNCV,(fourteen trials;MD 3.09,95% CI 2.04 to 4.14,P<0.00001,2=82%) for peroneal *** were no serious adverse events associated with drugs intervention.L+P+M therapy was superior to P+M therapy for improvement of clinical efficacy and NCVs in *** findings should be further verified by high-quality RCTs.

The aim of this report was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of prostaglandin E1(PGE1) plus lipoic acid(LA) for the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN) compared with that of PGE1 or LA monotherapy, in order to provide the basis and reference for clinical rational drug use. Randomized controlled trials(RCTs) published up to August 3, 2014 were searched. A random or fixed effect model was used to analyse outcomes expressed as risk ratios(RRs) or mean difference(MD) with a 95% confidence interval(CI). I2 statistic was used to assess heterogeneity. Subgroup and sensitivity analyses were performed. The outcomes measured were as follows: the clinical efficacy, median motor nerve conduction velocity(MNCV), median sensory nerve conduction velocity(SNCV), peroneal MNCV, peroneal SNCV and adverse effects. Thirty-one RCTs with 2676 participants were included. Clinical efficacy of PGE1+LA combination therapy was significantly better than monotherapy(p designed or high-quality RCTs.

Recent studies have demonstrated that the molecules secreted from microglias play important roles in the cell fate determination of neural stem cells(NSCs),and nicotinic acetylcholine receptor agonist treatment could reduce neuroinflammation in some neurodegenerative disease models,such as Alzheimer’s disease(AD).However,it is not clear how nicotine plays a neuroprotective role in inflammation-mediated central nervous diseases,and its possible mechanisms in the process remain largely *** aim of this study is to improve the survival microenvironment of NSCs co-cultured with microglias in vitro by weakening inflammation that mediated by accumulation of β-amyloid peptide(Aβ).The viability,proliferation,differentiation,apoptosis of NSCs and underlying mechanisms associated with Wnt signaling pathway were *** results showed that Aβ could directly damage ***,concomitant to elevated levels of TNF-α,IL-1β derived from microglias,the NSCs had been damaged more severely with the up-regulation of Axin 2,p-β-catenin and the down-regulation of β-catenin,p-GSK-3β,microtubule-associated protein-2,choline ***,addition of 10 μmol/L nicotine before microglias treated with Aβ was beneficial to protect the NSCs against neurotoxicity of microglial-derived factors induced by Aβ,which partially rescued proliferation,differentiation and inhibited apoptosis of NSCs via activation of Wnt/β-catenin *** together,these data imply that low concentration nicotine attenuates NSCs injury induced by microglial-derived factors via Wnt signaling ***,treatment with nicotinic acetylcholinereceptor agonist provides a promising research field for neural stem cell fate and therapeutic intervention in neuroinflammation diseases.

OBJECTIVE This study aimed to optimize polysaccharides extraction from Urena lobata *** investigate its antioxidant *** The mathematical model was established by *** surface method(RSM) based on the results of single factor experiments,using *** extraction rate as response value,and using the ratio of water to material,cellulase ***,extraction temperature and time as experimental factors,which was used to screen optimum *** extraction conditions from Urena lobata L..Antioxidant activity of polysaccharides was *** by DPPH and ·OH free radical elimination *** The optimum conditions obtained by RSM were as follows:the cellulase level was 10.8 g·L^(-1),extraction time duration was 72 min,the *** of water to feedstock was 7 mL·g^(-1),extraction temperature was 43℃,the pH value was *** the optimal conditions,there was a difference of less than 5% between predicted extraction rate 13.37% and experimental extraction rate 13.32%.The polysaccharide yield was most significantly *** by cellulase concentration,followed by extraction time,water to material ratio and extraction ***50 of DPPH and ·OH were 1.082 g·L^(-1) and 3.202 mg·L^(-1),*** activity of sample polysaccharides was weaker than those of vitamin *** The polysaccharide extraction process from Urena lobata *** cellulase enzymolysis approach was obtained,which was convenient and feasible,and extracted polysaccharides had good free radical scavenging activity.

Microglia(MG)-induced neurotoxicity, a major determinant of Alzheimer’s disease, is closely related to the survival of neural stem cells(NSCs). Heat shock protein 75(Hsp75) has been reported to exert protective effects against environmental stresses;however, whether or not it protects NSCs against MG-derived soluble factor-induced neurotoxicity remains unclear. In the present study, we constructed NSCs that overexpressed human Hsp75 protein and established a co-culture system in order to elucidate the role of Hsp75 in NSC-MG interactions. The results obtained indicated that Hsp75 expression increased after 12 h of soluble factor induction and continued to increase for up to 36 h of treatment. The overexpression of Hsp75 decreased NSC apoptosis and preserved mitochondrial membrane potential. Further experiments revealed that the overexpression of Hsp75 inhibited the formation of cyclophilin D(CypD)-dependent mitochondrial permeability transition pore(mPTP) involvement in neurotoxicity-mediated mitochondrial dysfunction and suppressed the activation of the mitochondrial apoptotic cascade, as demonstrated by the inhibition of the release of cytochrome c(Cytc) and the activation of caspase-3. The findings of this study demonstrate that Hsp75 overexpression prevents the impairment of NSCs induced by MG-derived soluble factors by regulating the opening of mP TP. Thus, Hsp75 warrants further investigation as a potential candidate for protection against neurotoxicity.

This study presents a novel method to fabricate metal-decorated,sulfur-doped layered double hydroxides （M/SLDH） through spontaneous redox and sulfurization *** developed Ag/SLDH and Pt/SLDH catalysts with abundant heterogeneous interfaces and hierarchical nanostructures demonstrated outstanding oxygen evolution reaction （OER） and hydrogen evolution reaction （HER） performance,achieving low overpotentials of 212 and 35 mV at 10 mA cm-2in 1 M KOH,*** both anode and cathode in water splitting,they required only 1.47 V to reach 10 mA cm-2and exhibited high structural robustness,maintaining stability at 1000 mA cm-2for 300 ***-situ Raman analysis revealed that the synergistic effects of metal nanoparticles and S doping significantly promote the transformation into the S-Co1-xFexOOH layer,which serves as the active phase for water ***,ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy （UPS） and density functional theory （DFT） analyses indicated that incorporating metal nanoparticles and S doping increase electron density near the Fermi level and reduce reaction energy barriers,thus enhancing intrinsic OER and HER *** study provides a scalable strategy for synthesizing high-performance electrocatalysts for water splitting,with promising potential for broader applications.
