Portable Analyzer for Rapid Analysis of Total Protein, Fat and Lactose Contents in Raw Milk Measured by Non-dispersive Short-wave Near-infrared Spectrometry

A novel portable analyzer for raw milk quality control during the material purchase at dairy plants was developed, by which the percentages（mass fraction） of main components including total protein, fat, and lactose of an unhomogenized milk sample could be determinated in 1 min with the help of non-dispersive short-wave near-infrared （NDSWNIR） spectrometry in a wavelength range from 600 nm to 1100 nm and multivariate calibration. The analyzer was designed with a single-beam optical system, which comprised a temperature control module, a multi-channel narrow-band light source（16 wavelengths）, a glass absorption cell with 15 mm sample thickness, a silicon photodiode detector, several compound lenses and a recorder module. A total of 80 raw milk samples were collected at a dairy farm twice a month for 4 months. The samples were scanned with a common UV-Vis-NIR spectrometer and analyzed according to China GB standard methods. The uninformative variables elimination（UVE） method was carried out on the spectrum data and the percentages of main components of all the samples to choose the peak emitting wavelength of each channel of the light source. Another 90 raw milk samples were collected from the same dairy farm thrice a month for 3 months. The samples were analyzed according to China GB standard methods and with the proposed analyzer. The percentages of the main components and the NDSWNIR absorption data of the samples were used for the construction and validation of the multivariate calibration model with partial least squares（PLS） method. The root-mean-square errors of prediction（RMSEP） of total protein, fat and lactose were 0.201, 0.172 and 0.247 and the coefficients of correlation（R） were 0.932, 0.981 and 0.933, respectively.

All-inorganic CsPbI_(2)Br perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have received extensive research interests ***,their low efficiency and poor long-term stability are still obstacles for further commercial ***,we demonstrate that high efficiency and exceptional long-term stability are realized by incorporating gadolinium(III)chloride(GdCl_(3))into the CsPbI_(2)Br perovskite *** incorporation of GdCl_(3) enhances the Goldschmidt tolerance factor of CsPbI_(2)Br perovskite,yielding a dense perovskite film with small grains,thus the a-phase CsPbI_(2)Br is remarkably ***,it is found that the GdCl_(3)-incorporated perovskite film achieves suppressed charge recombination and appropriate energy level alignment compared with the pristine CsPbI_(2)Br *** noticeable increment in efficiency from14.01%(control PSC)to 16.24%is achieved for GdCl_(3)-incorporated ***,the nonencapsulated GdCl_(3)-incorporated PSC exhibits excellent environmental and thermal stability,remaining over 91%or90%of the original efficiency after 1200 h aging at 40%relative humidity or 480 h heating at 85℃ in nitrogen glove box *** encapsulated GdCl_(3)-incorporated PSC presents an improved operational stability with over 88%of initial efficiency under maximum power point(MPP)tracking at 45℃ for1000 *** work presents an effective ion-incorporation approach for boosting efficiency and long-term stability of all-inorganic PSCs.

Although glycogen synthase kinase-3(GSK-3)might act as a tumor suppressor since its inhibition is expected tomimic the activation of Wnt-signaling pathway,GSK-3β may contribute to NF-κ3 activation in cancer cells leading toincreased cancer cell proliferation and *** we report that GSK-3β activity was involved in the proliferationof human ovarian cancer cell both in vitro and in *** of GSK-3 activity by pharmacological inhibitors sup-pressed proliferation of the ovarian cancer *** constitutively active form of GSK-3β induced entryinto the S phase,increased cyclin D1 expression and facilitated the proliferation of ovarian cancer ***,GSK-3 inhibition prevented the formation of the tumor in nude mice generated by the inoculation of human ovariancancer *** findings thus suggest that GSK-3β activity is important for the proliferation of ovarian cancer cells,implicating this kinase as a potential therapeutic target in ovarian cancer.

为解决钢筋锈蚀和资源短缺问题,具有轻质高强、耐腐蚀特点的纤维增强聚合物(FRP)筋以及与普通骨料力学性能相近的珊瑚骨料成为近年来人们研究的新材料。本文从FRP与珊瑚骨料的材料特性及珊瑚骨料混凝土力学性能、FRP筋与珊瑚骨料混凝土黏结性能以及耐久性、FRP筋海水珊瑚骨料混凝土梁、柱构件的受力性能三个方面,对国内外相关研究进行对比分析,归纳出现有研究成果,认为FRP筋与珊瑚骨料混凝土有较好的协调工作性,并且可以有效增强珊瑚骨料混凝土结构的性能。此外总结出目前FRP筋、珊瑚骨料等材料的局限性以及FRP珊瑚骨料混凝土构件使用性能、耐久性能和设计方法研究还存在的不足,为FRP筋海水珊瑚骨料混凝土这种新型结构的继续研究提供参考。

Long non-coding RNA highly up-regulated in liver cancer promotes exosome secretion

BACKGROUND Highly upregulated in liver cancer (HULC) is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) which has recently been identified as a key regulator in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) progression. However, its role in the secretion of exosomes from HCC cells remains unknown. AIM To explore the mechanism by which HULC promotes the secretion of exosomes from HCC cells. METHODS Serum and liver tissue samples were collected from 30 patients with HCC who had not received chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or immunotherapy before surgery. HULC expression in serum exosomes and liver cancer tissues of patients was measured, and compared with the data obtained from healthy controls and tumor adjacent tissues. The effect of HULC upregulation in HCC cell lines and the relationship between HULC and other RNAs were studied using qPCR and dualluciferase reporter assays. Nanoparticle tracking analysis was performed to detect the quantity of *** HULC expression in serum exosomes of patients with HCC was higher than that in serum exosomes of healthy controls, and HULC levels were higher in liver cancer tissues than in tumor adjacent tissues. The expression of HULC in serum exosomes and liver cancer tissues correlated with the tumor-node-metastasis (TNM) classification, and HULC expression in tissues correlated with that in serum exosomes. Upregulation of HULC promoted HCC cell growth and invasion and repressed apoptosis. Notably, it also facilitated the secretion of exosomes from HCC cells. Moreover, qPCR assays showed that HULC repressed microRNA-372-3p (miR-372-3p) expression. We also identified Rab11a as a downstream target of miR-372-3p. Dual-luciferase reporter assays suggested that miR-372-3p could directly bind both HULC and Rab11a. CONCLUSION Our findings illustrate the importance of the HULC/miR-372-3p/Rab11a axis in HCC and provide new insights into the molecular mechanism regulating the secretion of exosomes from HCC cells.
