We examine electron kinetic effects in broadband-laser-driven back-stimulated Raman scattering(BSRS)bursts using particle-in-cell *** bursts occur during the nonlinear stage,causing reflectivity spikes and generating large numbers of hot ***-duration simulations are performed to observe burst events,and a simplified model is developed to eliminate the interference of the broadband laser’s random intensity *** the simplified model,we isolate and characterize the spectrum of electron plasma *** spectrum changes from a sideband structure to a turbulence-like structure during the burst.A significant asymmetry in the spectrum is *** asymmetry is amplified and transferred to electron phase space by high-intensity broadband laser pulses,leading to violent vortex-merging and generation of hot *** proportion of hot electrons increases from 6.76%to 14.7%during a single violent burst *** demonstrate that kinetic effects profoundly influence the BSRS evolution driven by broadband lasers.

In this paper, the authors design a reinforcement learning algorithm to solve the adaptive linear-quadratic stochastic n-players non-zero sum differential game with completely unknown dynamics. For each player, a critic network is used to estimate the q-function, and an actor network is used to estimate the control input. A model-free online q-learning algorithm is obtained for solving this kind of problems. It is proved that under some mild conditions the system state and weight estimation errors can be uniformly ultimately bounded. A simulation with five players is given to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.

Construction and Validity of Chinese translation of the Universal Mental Health Literacy Scale for Adolescents

Background: In this study, the Universal Mental Health Literacy Scale for Adolescents (UMHL-A) was revised and tested for its reliability and validity in Chinese middle school students, thus establishing a useful tool for assessing the mental health of individuals in this occupation. Methods: Our sample comprised 1208 junior high school students (58.85% male), aged between 11 and 15 years old. the Chinese version of the scale includes a mental health attitude subscale and mental health knowledge subscale, including attitudes towards seeking help, attitudes related to stigma, general mental health knowledge, and knowledge about specific mental illnesses, encapsulated in a total of 17 items. A series of psychometric analyses such as exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and internal consistency reliability estimation were carried out in this study. Results: the results of the CFA indicated that the two-factor model had an acceptable model fit (Attitude (UMHL-A Likert): χ2/df = 4.107; RMSEA = 0.072; SRMR = 0.045; tLI = 0.932; CFI = 0.954; knowledge (UMHL-A t/F): χ2/df = 3.647; RMSEA = 0.066; SRMR = 0.044; tLI = 0.923; CFI = 0.945). the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of subscales of the Chinese version UMHL-A were 0.80 and 0.78, respectively. Conclusion: In general, the Chinese version of the Universal Mental Health Literacy Scale for adolescents has good reliability and validity and can be used as a tool to measure the mental health literacy of Chinese adolescents. © 2024 the Authors.

In-situ electron irradiation and aging are applied to introduce high-density precipitates in an Mg-10Gd-3Y-1Zn-0.5Zr(GWZ1031k,wt.%)alloy to improve the *** results show that the hardness of the Mg alloy after irradiation for 10 h and aging for 9 h at 250℃ is 1.64 GPa,which is approximately 64% higher than that of the samples before being *** is mainly attributed to γ'precipitates on the basal plane after irradiation and the high-density nanoscale β'precipitates on the prismatic plane after aging,which should be closely related to the irradiation-induced homogenous *** latter plays a key role in precipitation *** result paves a way to improve the mechanical properties of metallic materials by tailoring the precipitation through irradiation and aging.

Linking Perceived Risk of Public Health Emergency to Psychological Distress among Chinese College Students: the Chain Mediation Role of Balanced time Perspective and Negative Coping Styles

Background: With public health emergencies (PHE) worldwide increasing, the perceived risk of PHE has been one of the critical factors influencing college students’ psychological distress. However, the mechanisms by which the perceived risk of PHE affects college students’ psychological distress are not clear. the study’s purpose was to investigate the mediation roles of deviation from a balanced time perspective (DBtP) and negative coping styles between the perceived risk of PHE and psychological distress. Methods: A convenience sampling method was used to survey 1054 Chinese college students with self-reporting. Data was collected using the Public Risk Perception Scale (PRPS), the Zimbardo time Perspective Inventory (ZtPI), the Simplified Coping Style questionnaire (SCSq), the PHE Anxiety Scale, and the Chinese version of the Patient Health questionnaire (PHq). the associations between the perceived risk of PHE, DBtP, negative coping styles, and psychological distress were clarified using the correlation analysis. Additionally, the mediating roles of DBtP and negative coping styles between the perceived risk of PHE and psychological distress were investigated using a structural equation model. Results: the findings revealed low to moderate correlations between the variables studied. Students’ perceived risk of PHE was a positive predictor of their psychological distress (b = 0.219, p tP and negative coping styles played chain mediation roles between them with the effect being 0.009 and a 95% Boot CI of [0.003, 0.023]. this chain mediation model had an excellent fit index (χ2/df = 4.732, CFI = 0.973, tLI = 0.930, RMSEA = 0.048, SRMR = 0.047). Conclusion: these findings showed how the perceived risk of PHE affected college students’ psychological distress. Radiative decays D((s))*→D((s))γare revisited in light of new experimental data from the BaBar and BESⅢ*** radiative couplings gD*Dγencoding nonperturbative qCD effects are calculated in the framework of the covariant confined quark model developed by *** compare our results with other theoretical studies and experimental *** couplings(in GeV-1)|g(D*+D+γ)|=0.45(9)and|g(D*0D0γ)|=1.72(34)calculated in our model agree with the corresponding experimental data|g(D*+D+γ)|=0.47(7)and|g(D*0D0γ)|=1.77(16).the most interesting case is the decay Ds*→Dsγ,for which a recent prediction based on light-cone sum rules at next-to-leading order|gDs*Dsγ|=0.60(19)deviates from the first(and only to date)lattice qCD result|gDs*Dsγ|=0.11(2)at nearly3σ.Our calculation yields|gDs*Dsγ|=0.29(6),which falls somehow between the two mentioned results,although it is larger than those predicted in other studies using quark models or qCD sum rules.

the Brown-Preston-Singleton(BPS)stopping power model is added to our previously developed hybrid code to model ion beam-plasma *** simulations show that both resistive field and ion scattering effects are important for proton beam transport in a solid target,in which they compete with each *** the target is not completely ionized,the self-generated resistive field effect dominates over the ion scattering ***,when the target is completely ionized,this situation is ***,it is found that Ohmic heating is important for higher current densities and materials with high *** energy fraction deposited as Ohmic heating can be as high as 20%-30%.typical ion divergences with half-angles of about 5°-10°will modify the proton energy deposition substantially and should be taken into account.

the network of Himalayan roadways and highways connects some remote regions of valleys or hill slopes,which is vital for India’s socio-economic *** to natural and artificial factors,frequency of slope instabilities along the networks has been increasing over last few *** of stability of natural and artificial slopes due to construction of these connecting road networks is significant in safely executing these roads throughout the *** rock mass classification methods are generally used to assess the strength and deformability of rock *** study assesses slope stability along the NH-1A of Ramban district of North Western *** structurally and non-structurally controlled rock mass classification systems have been applied to assess the stability conditions of 14 *** evaluating the stability of these slopes,kinematic analysis was performed along with geological strength index(GSI),rock mass rating(RMR),continuous slope mass rating(CoSMR),slope mass rating(SMR),and q-slope in the present *** SMR gives three slopes as completely unstable while CoSMR suggests four slopes as completely *** stability of all slopes was also analyzed using a design chart under dynamic and static conditions by slope stability rating(SSR)for the factor of safety(FoS)of 1.2 and 1 respectively.q-slope with probability of failure(PoF)1%gives two slopes as stable *** slope angle has been determined based on the q-slope safe angle equation and SSR design chart based on the *** value ranges given by different empirical classifications were RMR(37-74),GSI(27.3-58.5),SMR(11-59),and CoSMR(3.39-74.56).Good relationship was found among RMR&SSR and RMR&GSI with correlation coefficient(R 2)value of 0.815 and 0.6866,***,a comparative stability of all these slopes based on the above classification has been performed to identify the most critical slope along this road.
