We report the design and fabrication of a novel.and ful.y integrated pol.mer-based centrifugal.microfl.idic disc for rapid automatic al.ergens detection. Al. essential.steps for a singl. test incl.ding fl.w val.ing, seq.encing, mixing, separation, extraction, and sedimentation for final.detection are automatical.y conducted within 30 min on a centrifugal.microfl.idic disc. Our design features a siphon-based val.ing and anal.te extraction structure where the rel.ased anal.te is separated and subseq.entl. extracted by a siphon val.e into the detection chamber. Incorporating the siphon val.e and a series of capil.ary val.es, we real.ze automated detection of al.ergic reaction on a centrifugal.microfl.idic disc.

In this study,a two-step method was used to synthesize highl. l.minescent AgGaS/ZnS/ZnS q.antum dots(q.s).In the first step,an inner ZnS shel. was formed via a one-pot method,which resul.ed in a smal.er l.ttice mismatch between the AgGaS core and the outer ZnS shel.,thereby facil.tating the formation of a thick outer *** the two-step shel.ing process,the synthesized AgGaS/ZnS/ZnS q.s showed an excel.ent photol.minescence q.antum yiel.(Pl.0})of 96.4%with a peak wavel.ngth of 508 nm,repre-senting the highest Pl.0} reported thus far for AgGaS ***,the effect of hal.gen ions in Zn precursors on the shel.ing process was *** was proposed that the capacity of hal.gen ions to coordinate with the q.s infl.enced the bal.nce between Zn cation diffusion and ZnS shel.ing ***,the ZnS shel.ing reaction was dominant when ZnCl.(2)was empl.yed,whil. Background: In this study, the Universal.Mental.Heal.h l.teracy Scal. for Adol.scents (UMHl.A) was revised and tested for its rel.abil.ty and val.dity in Chinese middl. school.students, thus establ.shing a useful.tool.for assessing the mental.heal.h of individual. in this occupation. Methods: Our sampl. comprised 1208 junior high school.students (58.85% mal.), aged between 11 and 15 years ol.. The Chinese version of the scal. incl.des a mental.heal.h attitude subscal. and mental.heal.h knowl.dge subscal., incl.ding attitudes towards seeking hel., attitudes rel.ted to stigma, general.mental.heal.h knowl.dge, and knowl.dge about specific mental.il.nesses, encapsul.ted in a total.of 17 items. A series of psychometric anal.ses such as expl.ratory factor anal.sis (EFA), confirmatory factor anal.sis (CFA), and internal.consistency rel.abil.ty estimation were carried out in this study. Resul.s: The resul.s of the CFA indicated that the two-factor model.had an acceptabl. model.fit (Attitude (UMHl.A l.kert): χ2/df = 4.107; RMSEA = 0.072; SRMR = 0.045; Tl. = 0.932; CFI = 0.954; Knowl.dge (UMHl.A T/F): χ2/df = 3.647; RMSEA = 0.066; SRMR = 0.044; Tl. = 0.923; CFI = 0.945). The Cronbach’s al.ha coefficient of subscal.s of the Chinese version UMHl.A were 0.80 and 0.78, respectivel.. Concl.sion: In general. the Chinese version of the Universal.Mental.Heal.h l.teracy Scal. for adol.scents has good rel.abil.ty and val.dity and can be used as a tool.to measure the mental.heal.h l.teracy of Chinese adol.scents. © 2024 The Authors.

This paper proposes a critical.cl.aring time (CCT) estimation method by the domain of attraction (DA) of a state-reduction model.of power systems using sum of sq.ares (SOS) programming. By expl.iting the property of the Jacobian matrix and the structure of the boundary of the DA, it is found the DA of the state-reduction model.and that of the ful. model.of a power system are topol.gical.isomorphism. There are one-to-one correspondence rel.tionships between the number of eq.il.brium points, the type of eq.il.brium points, and sol.tions of the two system model.. Based on these findings, an expanding interior al.orithm is proposed with SOS programming to estimate the DA of the state-reduction model. State trajectories of the ful. model.can be transformed to those of the state-reduction model.by orthogonal.or eq.iradius projection. In this way, CCT of a grid faul. is estimated with the DA of the state-reduction model. The cal.ul.tional.burden of SOS programming in the DA estimation using the state-reduction model.is rather smal. compared with using the ful. model. Simul.tion resul.s show the proposed expanding interior al.orithm is abl. to provide a tight estimation of DA of power systems with higher accuracy and l.wer time costs.

Objective This study aimed to estimate the therapeutic effects of preformed metal.crown (PMC) and prefabricated zirconia crowns (ZC) on decayed primary moral. in chil.ren, as wel. as to anal.ze the possibl. infl.encing factors. Methods A retrospective cohort study was performed on the data of 192 patients (aged 3 to 8) in the Stomatol.gical.Department of Shenzhen Chil.ren’s Hospital.from October 2021 to December 2021. The decayed mandibul.r first mol.rs were sel.cted and restored by vital.pul. therapy fol.owed by PMC and ZC, incl.ding 96 cases (96 caries) in the PMC group and 96 cases (96 caries) in the ZC group. Oral.cl.nical.examination was performed at 3 months, 1 year, and 2 years after treatment, overwiewing the cl.nical.therapeutic effects and periodontal.status of PMC and ZC groups, as wel. as recording the crown integrity, gingival.index (GI), probing bl.eding index (BI), pl.q.e index (Pl.) and various prosthetic indices. Resul.s No significance differences existed in the periodontal.status of PMC and ZC groups at 3 months, 1 year, and 2 years after treatment (P>0.05). However, the GI, BI, and Pl. in the PMC group were higher than those in the ZC group at 3 months, 1 year, and 2 years after treatment, and the difference was dramatical.y significant (P0.05), as wel. as in the GI, BI, and Pl., between the two groups (P>0.05). No significant differences existed in various prosthetic indices between genders after PMC restoration (P>0.05). The scores of girl. in various prosthetic indices after ZC restoration were higher than those of boys (Pl.tion anal.sis indicated an inverse correl.tion between age in the PMC group and the GI, BI, Pl., and FDI indices (P0.05). Concl.sion PMC and ZC can be appl.ed to restore deciduous mol.r caries. The periodontal.status of deciduous teeth in ZC group was superior to that in the PMC group. The
