Middle and Late Devonian brachiopod assemblages,sea level change and paleogeography of Hunan,China

Givetian through middle Famennian brachiopods of Hunan are used to define five biozones,comprising,in ascending order,the Stringocephalus Abundance Zone,the Ambocoeliid-Leiorhynchid Assemblage Zone,the Cyrtospiriferid Assemblage Zone,the Yunnanellina-Sinospirifer Assemblage Zone,and the Yunnanella-Hunanospirifer Assemblage Zone.They correspond approximately to the Po.hemiansatus Zone to Po.varcus Zone,S.hermanni Zone to Pa.punctata Zone,Pa.hassi Zone to Pa.linguiformis Zone,Pa.triangularis Zone to Upper Pa.crepida Zone,and Uppermost Pa.crepida Zone to Pa.marginifera Zone,respectively.Intensified rifting activity in South China during the Devonian began in the middle of the Lower Po.varcus Zone(a level marked by the first appearance of Po.rhenanus),which is consistent with the Lower-Middle Givetian substage boundary suggested by the International Subcommission on Devonian Stratigraphy(SDS).This assumed that rifting activity in the Lower Po.varcus Zone was signified by the deposition of the Baqi Formation in Guangxi and was marked largely by the extensive deposition of the Qiziqiao Formation in central Hunan,which probably led to an opposite pattern of relative sea level change-rising in deeper water trough areas and lowering in carbonate platform areas.The previously recognized S.hermanni Zone sea level rise in platform margin areas of Guangxi can be identified not only in the trough areas but also in platform areas,which probably indicates an overall marine transgression at this time,rather than tectonically induced sea level change.Similarly,this level coincides with the Middle-Upper Givetian substage boundary suggested by the SDS.Although the sea level rise may have occurred in the deeper water trough areas of South China towards the end of the Givetian,platformal areas experienced uplifting at various degrees,especially in the central and northern regions of Hunan where Early Frasnian deposits were apparently absent in many places.Similarly,the end-Frasnian regression led to exposure of many places and absence

Coevolution of global brachiopod palaeobiogeography and tectonopalaeogeography during the Carboniferous

The global brachiopod palaeobiogeography of the Mississippian is divided into three realms, six regions, and eight provinces, while that of the Pennsylvanian is divided into three realms, six regions, and nine provinces. On this basis,we examined coevolutionary relationships between brachiopod palaeobiogeography and tectonopalaeogeography using a comparative approach spanning the Carboniferous. The appearance of the Boreal Realm in the Mississippian was closely related to movements of the northern plates into middle–high latitudes. From the Mississippian to the Pennsylvanian, the palaeobiogeography of Australia transitioned from the Tethys Realm to the Gondwana Realm,which is related to the southward movement of eastern Gondwana from middle to high southern latitudes. The transition of the Yukon–Pechora area from the Tethys Realm to the Boreal Realm was associated with the northward movement of Laurussia, whose northern margin entered middle–high northern latitudes then. The formation of the six palaeobiogeographic regions of Mississippian and Pennsylvanian brachiopods was directly related to "continental barriers", which resulted in the geographical isolation of each region. The barriers resulted from the configurations of Siberia, Gondwana, and Laurussia, which supported the Boreal, Tethys, and Gondwana realms, respectively. During the late Late Devonian–Early Mississippian, the Rheic seaway closed and North America(from Laurussia) joined with South America and Africa(from Gondwana), such that the function of "continental barriers" was strengthened and the differentiation of eastern and western regions of the Tethys Realm became more distinct. In the Barents Ocean tectonic domain during the Pennsylvanian, the brachiopods on the northern margin of the Barents Ocean formed the Verkhoyansk–Taymyr Province, while those on the southern margin formed the Yukon–Pechora Province. 滇西昌宁—孟连带是探索古特提斯地质演化的热点地区之一。识别和梳理带内不同岩石地层单元所包含的内容,追索其分布情况,是深入、准确地了解这一地区地质演化的一个重要前提。石炭系密西西比亚系南段组分布于昌宁—孟连带东带,是一套厚度大、成熟度较高的被动陆缘浅海沉积。笔者近期在昌宁—孟连带西带的“中—上泥盆统”和“二叠系拉巴组”中识别出了一套碎屑岩地层,其化石面貌及岩石学和锆石年代学特征反映其为南段组沉积。它们与不同时代的硅质岩、碎屑岩、灰岩等混杂分布。前期的研究显示南段组为冈瓦纳大陆被动大陆边缘的“原位沉积”,而西带不同时代的硅质岩、碎屑岩、灰岩和玄武岩等则为源于古特提斯的“外来岩片”。在古特提斯闭合过程中,这些“外来岩片”就位于冈瓦纳大陆被动陆缘的“原位沉积”(南段组)之上。构造挤压和褶皱变形,以及后期的剥蚀,使得在“原位沉积”(南段组)与“外来岩片”的接触部位出现南段组与时代不同、沉积构造背景迥异的岩片穿插、混杂分布的现象。

目的探究基于目标导向的循序渐进式康复护理对脑梗死患者神经功能及生活质量的影响。方法收集我院2020年5月-2023年5月收治的120例脑梗死患者临床资料。按照护理方法的不同分为2组,观察组72例为实施基于目标导向的循序渐进式康复护理的患者,对照组48例为常规护理患者。比较患者恢复情况、神经功能、肢体功能、生活质量。结果观察组卧床时间(4.81±1.24)天、住院时间(9.58±2.25)天均低于对照组(5.45±1.31)天、(11.25±2.54)天,差异有统计学意义(P0.05),与干预后相比,两组神经功能缺损评分均显著降低,(t=20.136,P=0.000;t=14.680,P=0.000),且干预后的观察组评分(19.13±2.61)分低于对照组(21.44±2.82)分,差异有统计学意义(P0.05),与干预后相比,两组上肢、下肢功能评分均显著增加(t=43.599,P=0.000;t=23.703,P=0.000)、(t=29.546,P=0.000;t=15.362,P=0.000),且干预后的观察组评分高于对照组,差异显著(P0.05),与干预后相比,两组生活质量评分均增加,差异显著(t=38.240,P=0.000;t=23.184,P=0.000),且干预后的观察组评分(68.78±3.85)分高于对照组(63.38±4.11)分,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论基于目标导向的循序渐进式康复护理能够改善脑梗死患者的神经功能缺损,提高生活质量,促进恢复。

MicroRNAs(miRNAs)play an important regulatory role in neuronal growth and development.Different mi RNAs target different genes to protect neurons in different ways,such as by avoiding apoptosis,preventing degeneration mediated by conditional mediators,preventing neuronal loss,weakening certain neurotoxic mechanisms,avoiding damage to neurons,and reducing inflammatory damage to them.The high expression of mi RNAs in the brain has significantly facilitated their development as protective targets for therapy,including neuroprotection and neuronal recovery.mi RNA is indispensable to the growth and development of neurons,and in turn,is beneficial for the development of the brain and checking the progression of various diseases of the nervous system.It can thus be used as an important therapeutic target for models of various diseases.This review provides an introduction to the protective effects of mi RNA on neurons in case of different diseases or damage models,and then provides reference values and reflections on the relevant treatments for the benefit of future research in the area.

Coevolution of Brachiopod Paleobiogeography and Tectonopaleogeography during the Early–Middle Permian

A comprehensive compilation and systematic analysis of known early and middle Permian brachiopod faunas shows that the early Permian brachiopod faunas comprise three realms, six regions, and eleven provinces, while those of the middle Permian comprise three realms, four regions, and eight provinces. A comparison and analysis of brachiopod faunal patterns reveal a coevolution between global brachiopod paleobiogeography and tectonopaleogeography during the early-middle Permian. Although temperature/latitude is the main factor controlling the formation of three realms, tectonopaleogeographic factors determine the temperature/latitude in which the continents were located. The ＇continental barrier＇ of Pangea, as a ＇central axis＇ continent, divided the three realms into six regions, which indicates that the formation of biogeographic regions was controlled mainly by the tectonopaleogeographic factors. The evolution of tectonopaleogeography was sometimes a long-term process, so that the biogeographic regions（or provinces） controlled by tectonopaleogeography displayed relative stability. Shifts in the nature of biogeographic provinces（e.g., from cool water to warm water, and vice versa）, extensions or narrowing of geographical ranges, and recombinations of some provinces were all related to regional tectonic evolution. The study of the coevolution between brachiopod paleobiogeography and tectonopaleogeography not only accounts for the formation mechanisms of brachiopod paleobiogeographic patterns during the early-middle Permian, but also provides evidences for the locations and configurations of oceans and plates（blocks） during this period.

Temporal and Spatial Distribution of the Late Devonian (Famennian) Strata in the Northwestern Border of the Junggar Basin, Xinjiang, Northwestern China

The base of the Saerba Member （Mbr） of the Hongguleleng Formation （Fm.） probably lies in the Famennian Palmatolepis crepida Zone; the Longkou Mbr is probably a sedimentary wedge that thins out northwards; the Duguer Mbr has an approximate age from the upper part of the Pa. marginifera Zone or the Lower Pa. rugosa trachytera Zone through the top of the Pa. perlobata postera Zone; the Wulan Mbr has an age approximately corresponding to the whole Pa. gracilis expansa Zone. In the Bulongguoer section, the Lower Mbr of the Hongguleleng Fro. corresponds to Famennian Pa. crepida Zone through Pa. marginifera Zone; the Middle Mbr probably ranges from the Pa. r. trachytera Zone through the Pa. g. expansa Zone. The basal Namu Mbr of the Heishantou Fm. is probably the product during and after the Hangenberg Event in the upper part of the Siphonodellapraesulcata Zone, which is still within the Devonian. In this context, the underlying Chasi Mbr may approximately correspond to the lower part of the S. praesulcata Zone （before the Hangenberg Event）. Lateral distribution of strata indicates that the Upper Devonian in the Gennaren and Saerba areas each constitutes a structure of syncline, which differs from the previous recognition of a monocline structure.

Measurement and analysis of content diffusion characteristics in opportunity environments with Spark

Opportunity networks provide a chance to offload the tremendous cellular traffic generated by sharing popular content on mobile networks. Analyzing the content spread characteristics in real opportunity environments can discover important clues for traffic offloading decision making. However, relevant published work is very limited since it is not easy to collect data from real environments. In this study, we elaborate the analysis on the dataset collected from a real opportunity environment formed by the users of Xender, which is one of the leading mobile applications for content sharing. To discover content transmission characteristics, scale, speed, and type analyses are implemented on the dataset. The analysis results show that file transmission has obvious periodicity, that only a very small fraction of files spread widely, and that application files have much higher probability to be popular than other files. We also propose a solution to maximize file spread scales, which is very helpful for forecasting popular files. The experimental results verify the effectiveness and usefulness of our solution.

Bi-Frobenius Algebra Structures on Quantum Complete Intersections

This paper is to look for bi-Frobenius algebra structures on quantum complete intersections over field k.We find a class of comultiplications,such that if√−1∈k,then a quantum complete intersection becomes a bi-Frobenius algebra with comultiplication of this form if and only if all the parameters qij=±1.Also,it is proved that if√−1∈k then a quantum exterior algebra in two variables admits a bi-Frobenius algebra structure if and only if the parameter q=±√1.While if−1/∈k,then the exterior algebra with two variables admits no bi-Frobenius algebra structures.We prove that the quantum complete intersections admit a bialgebra structure if and only if it admits a Hopf algebra structure,if and only if it is commutative,the characteristic of k is a prime p,and every ai a power of p.This also provides a large class of examples of bi-Frobenius algebras which are not bialgebras(and hence not Hopf algebras).In commutative case,other two comultiplications on complete intersection rings are given,such that they admit non-isomorphic bi-Frobenius algebra structures.

Multi-modal imaging for the diagnosis of spontaneous visceral artery dissection:A case report

BACKGROUND Spontaneous visceral artery dissection(SVAD)is a rare condition that affects the visceral arteries,such as the celiac,superior mesenteric,and inferior mesenteric arteries,without involving the aorta.Organ ischemia or hemorrhage from vessel rupture can occur in SVAD;therefore,prompt detection and management is essential.Contrast-enhanced computed tomography(CECT)has been used to diagnose most of the previous cases,but few studies have explored the potential of contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS)for early detection of this disease.CASE SUMMARY A 53-year-old male presented with complaints of poor appetite and abnormal liver function for the past 6 months.He had previously undergone transabdominal splenectomy,esophagogastric devascularization,and cholecystectomy for gallstones and severe portal hypertension.Liver ultrasound was performed in our department to assess liver status.An abnormal hepatic artery spectrum was observed,and dissection involving both the celiac artery and the common hepatic artery was observed.A CEUS was then performed and clearly showed the entry site of the intimal tear and the false lumen,and dissection was subsequently confirmed by CECT.The patient was asymptomatic;therefore,treatment to control the blood pressure was provided,and follow-up was recommended.After 6 months of follow-up,the celiac artery was found to be dilated with an adherent thrombus visible in the wall,and the common hepatic artery was occluded with the presence of collateralization.Despite these findings,no significant changes in liver function were observed.CONCLUSION Multi-modal imaging is effective in diagnosing SVAD,and conservative treatment is a choice for asymptomatic patients.
