Optimizing the sensor energy is one of the most important concern in Three-Dimensional(3D)Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs).An improved dynamic hierarchical clustering has been used in previous works that computes optimum clusters count and thus,the total consumption of energy is ***,the computational complexity will be increased due to data dimension,and this leads to increase in delay in network data transmission and *** solving the above-mentioned issues,an efficient dimensionality reduction model based on Incremental Linear Discriminant Analysis(ILDA)is proposed for 3D hierarchical clustering *** major objective of the proposed work is to design an efficient dimensionality reduction and energy efficient clustering algorithm in 3D hierarchical clustering *** ILDA approach consists of four major steps such as data dimension reduction,distance similarity index introduction,double cluster head technique and node dormancy *** protocol differs from normal hierarchical routing protocols in formulating the Cluster Head(CH)selection *** to node’s position and residual energy,optimal cluster-head function is generated,and every CH is elected by this *** a 3D spherical structure,under the same network condition,the performance of the proposed ILDA with Improved Dynamic Hierarchical Clustering(IDHC)is compared with Distributed Energy-Efficient Clustering(DEEC),Hybrid Energy Efficient Distributed(HEED)and Stable Election Protocol(SEP)*** is observed that the proposed ILDA based IDHC approach provides better results with respect to Throughput,network residual energy,network lifetime and first node death round.

Genome-Wide DNA Binding of GBF1 IsModulated by Its Heterodimerizing ProteinPartners, HY5 and HYH

Dear Editor, In today＇s post-genomic era where direct targets of manytranscription factors have been identified, it is becomingincreasingly evident that transcriptional networks are verycomplex. Heterodimerization of transcription factors is oneof the several methods by which these complex transcrip-tional networks are formed. By heterodimerization, DNA-binding specificity and affinity, transactivation properties,and ultimately cell physiology might be altered （Naar et al.,2001）. The formation of heterodimers has the potential torecognize additional binding sites and increase the rangeof DNA-binding specificity （Foster et al., 1994）. Further, het-erodimerization also allows the production of new proteinconfigurations. For example, the protein STF1 from soybeancan dimerize with GBF proteins and this dimerization bringstogether the acidic region from STF1 and the proline-richregion of the GBF proteins into one binding element （Cheonget al., 1998）. These results highlight the importance and/orconsequences of heterodimerization of transcription factorsat particular locus. However, to understand the complex tran-scriptional networks, it is important to investigate that howheterodimerization affects the whole-genome-wide bind-ing and transcriptional properties of a transcription *** in this study, we have investigated genome-wide DNAbinding of bZIP transcription factor GBF1, and analyzed theimportance of its heterodimerization with HY5 and HYH forits genome-wide binding. We have found that GBF1 bindingsites are enriched within the 1-kb regions upstream to thetranscription start sites of target genes. Moreover, the bind-ings of GBF1 to most of its targets are largely dependent onHY5, while HYH only affects the binding of GBF1 to somespecific sites.

Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is an important contributor to cancer-specific mortality worldwide. Targeted agents that inhibit key subtype-specific signaling pathways have improved survival times and have recently become part of the standard of care for this disease. Accurately diagnosing and classifying RCC on the basis of tumor histology is thus critical. RCC has been traditionally divided into clear-cell and non-clearcell categories, with papillary RCC forming the most common subtype of non-clear-cell RCC. Renal neoplasms with overlapping histologies, such as tumors with mixed clear-cell and papillary features and hybrid renal oncocytic tumors, are increasingly seen in contemporary practice and present a diagnostic challenge with important therapeutic implications. In this review, we discuss the histologic, immunohistochemical, cytogenetic, and clinicopathologic aspects of these differential diagnoses and illustrate how the classification of RCC has evolved to integrate both the tumor's microscopic appearance and its molecular fingerprint.

Antioxidant and antigenotoxic properties of Alpinia galanga,Curcuma amada,and Curcuma caesia

Implications of turbulent shear on clay floc break-up along the Atlantic estuary(Bouregreg),Morocco

Water depth,salinity,current,and suspended sediment concentration(SSC) were measured along with the grain size distribution of bed sediment along an estuarine longitudinal *** floc size increased with increase in the percentage of clay and silt,while decreased with increase in the percentage of sand content of bed *** turbulent shear,G,had a direct effect on floc size with its value increasing with increase in G up to a G value of 15 s,while an inverse relation existed between floc size and G at higher G(C> 15 s).Further,higher turbulence enabled sand to get resuspended and cause additional shear leading to the break-up of *** attempt was made to modify G to account for the combined effect of water turbulence(C) and shear imparted by sand(C) and the impact of the modification of G on the predictability of floc size was evaluated.A new model was developed which explains floc size in terms of sediment concentration(C),salinity gradient(S),and G for different scenarios based on the value of *** analysis was done for observed floc size(FS) and predicted floc size using four approaches:(Ⅰ) FS β C~χ;(Ⅱ) FS α C~χS;(Ⅲ) FS α C~χSG~z for G 15 s; and(Ⅳ) FS α C~χSGfor G> 15 sand G=G+G,where x,y,and z are determined by *** was observed that the predictability of the floc size improved when the turbulence was modified to account for shear imparted by sand so that the coefficient of determination was increased from 0.78 for model Ⅲ to 0.89 for model Ⅳ.Further,the settling velocity was expressed as a function of suspended sediment concentration,turbulent shear,and salinity *** predictability of settling velocity was improved(R~2 increased from 0.77 to 0.86) when the additional turbulence created by sand was incorporated in the non-dimensional empirical *** study highlights the influence of sand in causing the break-up of flocs and suggests that for turbulence shear values high enough to resuspend

Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs)play an indispensable role in the lives of human beings in the fields of environment monitoring,manufacturing,education,agriculture etc.,However,the batteries in the sensor node under deployment in an unattended or remote area cannot be replaced because of their wireless *** this context,several researchers have contributed diversified number of cluster-based routing schemes that concentrate on the objective of extending node survival ***,there still exists a room for improvement in Cluster Head(CH)selection based on the integration of critical *** meta-heuristic methods that concentrate on guaranteeing both CH selection and data transmission for improving optimal network performance are *** this paper,a hybrid Marine Predators Optimization and Improved Particle Swarm Optimizationbased Optimal Cluster Routing(MPO-IPSO-OCR)is proposed for ensuring both efficient CH selection and data *** robust characteristic of MPOA is used in optimized CH selection,while improved PSO is used for determining the optimized route to ensure sink *** specific,a strategy of position update is included in the improved PSO for enhancing the global searching efficiency of *** high-speed ratio,unit speed rate and low speed rate strategy inherited by MPOA facilitate better exploitation by preventing solution from being struck into local optimality *** simulation investigation and statistical results confirm that the proposed MPOIPSO-OCR is capable of improving the energy stability by 21.28%,prolonging network lifetime by 18.62%and offering maximum throughput by 16.79%when compared to the benchmarked cluster-based routing schemes.

Sound velocity, density, and viscosity values have been measured at T = 303 K for four binary systems of morpholine + methanol, ethanol, 1-propanol, and 1-butanol. From these data, acoustical parameters,such as adiabatic compressibility, free length, free volume, and internal pressure, have been estimated using the standard relations. The results are interpreted in terms of the molecular interaction between the components of the mixtures. The observed excess values in all the mixtures indicate that the molecular symmetry existing in the system is highly disturbed by the addition of morpholine molecules. The interaction energy terms of the statistical mixing are also verified for these binary systems, and the dipole-dipole interactions are found to be predominant and are greatly affected by the chain length of the primary alkanols.

Investigation of Terminal Group Effect on Electron Transport Through Open Molecular Structures

The effect of terminal groups on the electron transport through metal-molecule-metal system has been investigated using nonequilibrium Green’s function (NEGF) formalism combined with extended Huckel theory (EHT). Au-molecule-Au junctions are constructed with borazine and BCN unit structure as core molecule and sulphur (S), oxygen (O), selenium (Se) and cyano-group (CN) as terminal groups. The electron transport characteristics of the borazine and BCN molecular systems are analyzed through the transmission spectra and the current-voltage curve. The results demonstrate that the terminal groups modifying the transport behaviors of these systems in a controlled way. Our result shows that, selenium is the best linker to couple borazine to Au electrode and oxygen is the best one to couple BCN to Au electrode. Furthermore, the results of borazine systems are compared with that of BCN molecular systems and are discussed. Simulation results show that the conductance through BCN molecular systems is four times larger than the borazine molecular systems. Negative differential resistance behavior is observed with borazine-CN system and the saturation feature appears in BCN systems.
