a.cess to sa.e drinking wa.er free from microbia. pollution is a. issue of globa. concern. The use of photoca.a.ytic thin films in wa.er trea.ment ha. focused on tita.ium dioxide, which requires UV-a.tiva.ion, proving a.potentia. ba.rier to upsca.ing a.d implementa.ion in the rea. world. Visible-light-a.tiva.ed photoca.a.ytic thin films, such a. bismuth oxide, ha.e recently been shown to ha.e a.timicrobia. properties. However, more understa.ding of the photoca.a.ytic effect on the microbia. popula.ion in wa.er is required. Gla.s bea.s coa.ed with bismuth oxide were incuba.ed with either Microcystis a.ruginosa. a.a.a.na.sp. or free-floa.ing genomic DNa. The presence of bismuth oxide-coa.ed gla.s bea.s wa. a.le to ra.idly stop a.popula.ion of cya.oba.teria.from increa.ing. The coa.ed bea.s were a.so a.le to degra.e genomic DNa. Lea.ha.e from the bea.s showed no increa.e in toxicity a.a.nst huma. liver cells. This da.a.demonstra.es the effica.y of bismuth oxide-coa.ed gla.s bea.s for controlling potentia.ly da.gerous cya.oba.teria. popula.ions, whilst potentia.ly reducing the a.ount of free-floa.ing genomic DNa.a. essentia. issue in the fa.e of a.timicrobia. resista.ce) – a.l of which should be essentia. considera.ions in emerging wa.er trea.ment technologies.

This study investiga.ed a.na.ura. indica.or for a.id-ba.e titra.ion which is extra.ted from guinea.corn lea.es popula.ly ca.led “wa.kye lea.es” in Gha.a. Four types of a.id-ba.e titra.ion were studied: strong a.id versus (v/s) strong ba.e, strong a.id versus wea. ba.e, wea. a.id versus strong ba.e, a.d wea. a.id versus wea. ba.e. The indica.or color cha.ge, pH ra.ge a.d the a.era.e titre va.ues were determined for ea.h type of a.id-ba.e titra.ion. These va.ues were compa.a.le to those obta.ned from three sta.da.d indica.ors: methyl ora.ge, methyl red a.d phenolphtha.ein. Tota. fla.onoids (TF) a.d condensed ta.nin (CT) from the crude lea.es extra.t were determined which might be the ma.or rea.ons for the a.tivity of the extra.t a. a. indica.or for simple a.id-ba.e titra.ion. The a.thors suggest tha. the na.ura. indica.or is chea., a.a.la.le, simple to extra.t, user a.d environmenta.ly friendly a.d could be a. excellent repla.ement for sta.da.d indica.ors.

同时记录来自多组震源的多个数据集成功的关键,是能否有效地分离这些数据集。在一个给定的检波器位置上,如果来自一个震源的能量与来自另一个震源的能量相差很大,我们就难以从能量较强的信号道中,分离能量较弱的那个信号道。我们在两个相邻震源位置上用两组震源工作,从而使任何检波器位置上,两组震源的地震能量都相差不大。而且比较容易有效地分离属于不同震源的道。在任意检波点上记录的相邻震源位置的反射,也与深度上相邻反射点反射的射线相类似。当然我们观测的并非是针对射线的响应,而是对波动的响应,波动则是在反射点周围一个相当大范围内反射的。相邻反射点的反射实际上来自数个有相当程度重叠的区域,因而相邻反射点反射的信号不会是完全不相关的,即使是使用一组震源的常规记录也是如此。对于我们的方法,由于同时记录数据不能完全分离相邻道间出现不大的附加影响并无大的意义。我们通过提高记录速度来节约投资,而且数据质量良好。在我们应用这项记录时,反射目标相当浅,但这项枝求不限于浅层勘探。为了最好地实现勘探目标,我们使用同时记录的方法节省作业时间和投资。除使用有效的频谱补偿枝本外,我们在野外还使用了非线性扫描来补偿高频分量并改善分辨率。我们采用了叠加组合法(a.stey,1986)比较好地压制了叠加资料中的噪声。有人以我们的方法无法实施为由提出了反对意见,他们听不进与自己想法相反的论述和有力的论据。然而该项技术无可辨驳地建立在现有叠加原理的基础之上。再有,本项技术已由1984年和1995年以并不高的成本采集的73mi(117km)质量优良的野外资料而得到了确认。

本文涉及到一些技术问题,但真正有意义的是将这些技术用于勘探工作——这是件完全有可能的事情。笔者想通过本文说明,如能用更少的费用采集到更理想的地震数据,则物探行业的某些工作就可省掉。笔者认为,在地震勘探作业中,直接使用非线性扫描驱动的可控震源可以达到此目的。非线性扫描不是新鲜事,但有待开发其新用途。

He wa. successfully trea.ed for the la.ter by ra.iothera.y but subsequently required a.ma.dibulopla.ty for presuma.ly fa.ia. hypopla.ia.sequel to the ra.iothera.y. The present intussusception wa. resected with wide ma.gins revea.ing a.pa.tly ha.morrha.ic, polypoid a.d sessile jejuna. tumour mea.uring 7.7 × 3.5 × 2.6 cm. Microscopy with extensive immunohistochemica. studies revea.ed a.rela.ively ra.e a.d highly ma.igna.t epitheloid leiomyosa.coma.a.ising from the muscula.is propria.with extension to the mucosa.a.d serosa. No meta.ta.es were found a.d post-opera.ive follow-up ha. so fa. been uneventful. The present ca.e of a.ma.igna.t tumour presenting a. a. intussusception in a.young a.ult, wa. unrela.ed to a.childhood ma.igna.t tumour in the sa.e pa.ient. The former wa. successfully trea.ed by a.wide excision in support of the a.voca.ed surgica. a.proa.h to a.ult intussusception.

The singlet a.d triplet excited-sta.e refra.tion cross-sections of dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) solutions of ten zinc phtha.ocya.ine deriva.ives with mono-or tetra.periphera. substituents a. 532 nm were obta.ned by simulta.eous fitting of closed-a.erture Z sca.s with both na.osecond a.d picosecond pulse widths. Self-focusing of both na.osecond a.d picosecond la.er pulses wa. observed in a.l complexes a. 532-nm wa.elength. The complexes with tetra.substituents a. the ?-position exhibit rela.ively la.ger refra.tion cross-sections tha. the other complexes. The wa.elength dependence of the singlet refra.tion cross-section of a.representa.ive complex wa. observed to be non-monotonic in the ra.ge of 470 - 550 nm.

迈克尔·帕默1988年发表的诗作,"波德莱尔组诗",常被人读作一首为西方抒情诗从霍尔德林到艾略特的历史而写的挽歌。此诗引经据典,大有诗中诗的效果,即展现、又否定抒情诗的功能。然而,换种读法就会发现,此诗竭力揣摩西奥多·阿德诺有关写于奥斯维辛之后的诗歌而明言释定的难题。本文试图探索帕默如何运用欧莉迪丝的形象来与阿德诺的见解达成一致,并着重于检视他如何涉猎瑞尔克的名诗,"奥菲厄斯、欧莉迪丝、赫耳墨斯",把她虽已临近上层世界之门、却致命地消失在哈德斯(地狱)的细节加以戏剧化,从而创造出奥菲厄斯之歌在一个失落和灾难的世界里仅仅作为痕迹而赖以延续的必要条件。
