Objective:To determine the effects of textile dyeing industrial wastewater on the hematological parameters and reproductive health including histoarchitecture of male gonad(testes)of ***:Twenty-four Swiss albino mice at 4-weeks old were divided into four groups(n=6 per group).Mice of group 1 supplied with normal drinking water were served as the control *** of group 2,3 and 4 were supplied normal drinking water mixed with textile dyeing wastewater at 5%,10% and 20% concentration,*** completing 24 weeks of treatment,different hematological profile,weight of testes,gonadosomatic index(GSI),sperm concentration and morphology were ***,histopathological changes in testes were ***:Hematocrit value and hemoglobin concentrations were decreased in all groups of wastewater-treated mice compared to the control ***,weight of testes,GSI and sperm concentration were decreased significantly in wastewater-treated mice in comparison to the control *** percentage of morphologically healthy epididymal sperm was significantly reduced in wastewater-treated *** examination revealed degenerative changes in seminiferous tubules,a smaller number of spermatogenic cells,elongation of seminiferous tubules and degenerative changes of seminiferous tubules in wastewater-treated ***:Textile dyeing wastewater has harmful effects on hematological profile and reproductive health of male mice.

Design architecture is the edifice that strengthens the functionalities as well as the security of web *** order to facilitate architectural security from the web application’s design phase itself,practitioners are now adopting the novel mechanism of security *** the intent to conduct a research from the perspective of security tactics,the present study employs a hybrid multi-criteria decision-making approach named fuzzy analytic hierarchy process-technique for order preference by similarity ideal solution(AHP-TOPSIS)method for selecting and assessing multi-criteria *** adopted methodology is a blend of fuzzy analytic hierarchy process(fuzzy AHP)and fuzzy technique for order preference by similarity ideal solution(fuzzy TOPSIS).To establish the efficacy of this methodology,the results are obtained after the evaluation have been tested on fifteen different web application projects(Online Quiz competition,Entrance Test,and others)of the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University,Lucknow,*** tabulated outcomes demonstrate that the methodology of the Multi-Level Fuzzy Hybrid system is highly effective in providing accurate estimation for strengthening the security of web *** proposed study will help experts and developers in developing and managing security from any web application design phase for better accuracy and higher security.

This study is focused on the simulation and optimization of packed-bed solar thermal energy storage by using sand as a storage material and hot-water is used as a heat transfer fluid and storage as *** analysis has been done by using the COMSOL multi-physics software and used to compute an optimization charging time of the *** that control this optimization are storage height,storage diameter,heat transfer fluid flow rate,and sand bed particle *** result of COMSOL multi-physics optimized thermal storage has been validated with Taguchi ***,the optimized parameters of storage are:storage height of 1.4m,storage diameter of 0.4 m,flow rate of 0.02 kg/s,and sand particle size 12 *** these parameters,the storage diameter result is the highest influenced optimized parameter of the thermal storage fromthe ANOVA *** nominal packed bed thermal storage,the charging time needed to attain about 520 K temperature is more than 3500 s,while it needs only about 2000 s for the optimized storage which is very significant *** charging energy efficiency of the optimized is greater than the nominal and previous concrete-based storage by 13.7%,and 13.1%,respectively in the charging time of 2700 s.

In recent years, there have been concerns about the toxicity of bisphenol A(BPA) in food packaging materials due to the potential endocrine disrupting effects it may have on humans, especially children and infants. In this present investigation, a free-standing nickel-copper pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid(PDA) metal organic framework(MOF) anchored carbon nanofiber paper(Ni-Cu(PDA)MOF/CNF) was synthesized for the sensing and quantify the BPA analytes in milk and water. As-prepared bimetallic MOF hybrid materials are extremely porous, hydrophilic in nature with a huge surface area. This allows for the easy pathway of analyte molecules, which react with the redox-active metal sites of MOF matrix and enhance the sensitivity. During electrocatalysis reaction, various functional groups present in the MOF system can also act as dynamic adsorption sites. In the neutral medium(pH = 7.0), the Ni-Cu(PDA)MOF/CNF modified glassy carbon electrode(Ni-Cu(PDA)MOF/CNF/GCE) ascertained good catalytic activity and strong electrochemical sensitivity toward BPA with higher sensitivity value and lower limit of detection(LOD) value. The irreversible and diffusion-controlled oxidation reactions of BPA were observed. The bimetallic MOF modified electrode displayed an extensive linear ranging from 1 to 150 μmol/L with a LOD of 75 n mol/L for BPA detection. The MOF anchored electrode displayed exceptional anti-interference property, reproducibility and good storage stability up to one month. It is notable that the Ni-Cu(PDA)MOF/CNF/GCE has proved the competence of detecting BPA in milk and drinking water samples, which displayed satisfactory outcomes with chromatographic analysis.

BAX G(-248)A Gene Polymorphism and Its Association with Risk of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer—A Case Control Study

Pro-apoptotic Bcl-2 protein BAX is an important member of mitochondrial dependent apoptosis regulation and ultimately plays a pivotal role in malignancies. A promoter G(-248)A polymorphism in the TP53 binding region of BAX results in differential binding capacity of TP53 protein there by regulating its expression, which has been found to be associated with different clinical outcomes in various malignancies. Presently we aimed to analyze the possible impact of the BAX G(-248)A polymorphism on the risk and other clinical features of non-small cell lung cancer in Indian population. The BAX promoter polymorphism was analyzed in blood samples of 320 subjects with 1:1 case/control ratio by primer-introduced restriction analysis PCR and survival curves were plotted using Kaplan-Meier analysis. It was observed that more than 3-fold increased risk of developing non-small cell lung cancer was associated with homozygous AA genotype of BAX G(-248)A promoter polymorphism in Indian population, with more predominant in smokers with pack-year > 45 (heavy) and using cigarette or huka as their smoking source than homozygous GG genotype. Significant associations was observed between TNM stage (p = 0.037) and histological type (0.02), of non-small cell lung cancer patients with the polymorphism. Patients homozygous for A allele exhibited a significant poor overall survival compared with patients displaying GA + AA or GA or GG genotype [median survival 6.0 vs 9.0, 11.0, and 30.0 months, respectively (p < 0.0001)]. Adenocarcinoma and advanced stage patients with AA genotype showed lower median survival time than squamous cell carcinoma and early stage non-small cell lung cancer patients (median 3.0 and 5.0 vs 8.0 and 9.0 months, respectively).
