Background:To characterize emergency optometrist referrals triaged at a tertiary ophthalmology care center by pathology,physical exam findings,and provisional diagnosis ***:Variables extracted from the patients’charts included date of referral,age,sex,eye(s)under examination,visual acuity(VA)at the time of referral,intraocular pressure(IOP)at the time of the referral,the referring optometrist’s provisional diagnosis,VA at the time of the ophthalmologist consultation,IOP at the time of the ophthalmologist consultation,number of days between referral and ophthalmic consultation,and the ophthalmologist’s ***:After categorizing disease by anatomical location,absolute agreement between optometrist provisional diagnosis and ophthalmologist diagnosis was 60%.A strong correlation was found between optometrist and ophthalmologist VA *** measurements were checked less frequently by *** cases where referral IOP was documented,no significant difference was observed between optometrist and ophthalmologist IOP ***:VA and IOP measurements by optometrists are reliable,but IOP is less frequently checked in the optometry *** optometrist referrals correctly localized eye pathology in 60%of cases,posterior pathology was missed in two cases of retinal tear and retinal detachment.

Macronutrient deficiency inhibits the growth and development of chili *** of the non-destructive methods that plays a role in processing plant image data based on specific characteristics is computer *** study uses 5166 image data after augmentation process for six plant health *** the analysis of one feature cannot represent plant health ***,a careful combination of features is *** study combines three types of features with HSV and RGB for color,GLCM and LBP for texture,and Hu moments and centroid distance for *** feature and its combination are trained and tested using the same MLP *** combination of RGB,GLCM,Hu moments,and Distance of centroid features results the best *** addition,this study compares the MLP architecture used with previous studies such as SVM,Random Forest Technique,Naive Bayes,and *** produced the best performance,followed by SVM and MLP,with accuracy reaching 97.76%,90.55%and 89.70%,*** MLP has lower accuracy than CNN,the model for identifying plant health conditions has a reasonably good success rate to be applied in a simple agricultural environment.

Aiming at overcoming the strength-ductility trade-off in structural Ti-alloys,a new family of TRIP/TWIP Ti-alloys was developed in the past decade(TWIP:twinning-induced plasticity;TRIP:transformationinduced plasticity).Herein,we study the tunable nature of deformation mechanisms with various TWIP and TRIP contributions by fine adjustment of the Zr content on ternary Ti-12 Mo-xZr(x=3,6,10)*** microstructure and deformation mechanisms of the Ti-Mo-Zr alloys are explored by using in-situ electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD)and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).The results show that a transition of the dominant deformation mode occurred,going from TRIP to TWIP major mechanism with increasing Zr *** the Ti-12 Mo-3 Zr alloy,the stress-induced martensitic transformation(SIM)is the major deformation mode which accommodates the plastic *** the Ti-12 Mo-6 Zr alloy,the combined deformation twinning(DT)and SIM modes both contribute to the overall plasticity with enhanced strain-hardening rate and subsequent large uniform *** increase of the Zr content in Ti-12 Mo-10 Zr alloy leads to an improved yield stress involving single DT mode as a dominant deformation mechanism throughout the plastic *** the present work,a set of comprehensive in-situ and ex-situ microstructural investigations clarify the evolution of deformation microstructures during tensile loading and unloading processes.

We discussed recent studies, within the framework of transport theories, on heavy ion reactions between charge asymmetric systems, from low up to Fermi energies. We concentrated on the analysis of ternary breakup events of dynamical origin occurring in semi-central reactions, where the formation of excited systems in various conditions of shape, excitation energy and spin is observed. At beam energies around 20 A Me V, we showed how this fragmentation mode emerges from the combined action of surface(neck) instabilities and angular momentum effects, leading to the observation of three aligned massive fragments in the exit channel. At Fermi energies, a transition towards a prompt emission of small fragments from the neck region with larger relative velocity with respect to projectile and target remnants is observed. We also focus on isospin sensitive observables, aiming at extracting information on the density dependence of the isovector part of the nuclear effective interaction and of the nuclear symmetry energy.

目的运动训练已被证明能够改善许多慢性肌肉功能疾病,被用于治疗衰老型肌萎缩。本文采用电阻抗成像(electrical impedance tomography,EIT)研究人类小腿肌肉对运动训练生理响应的电学特性,旨在使用EIT方法可视化运动训练对人类小腿响应肌肉隔室内肌肉纤维体积增加的效果。方法实验对象被要求在连续5个实验日进行左、右腿单侧提踵训练,应用EIT检测每日运动训练前和运动训练后小腿肌肉的电导率分布。为了定量分析运动训练对响应肌肉隔室的作用,使用配对样本t检验分析EIT重建图像的空间平均电导率。结果运动训练后,由小腿腓肠肌组成的M_(1)肌肉隔室空间平均电导率_(M1)显著增加。此外,连续5个实验日的EIT测量结果显示,运动训练前的空间平均电导率_(M1)呈上升趋势。所有实验对象在实验日1早晨进行实验前的腿部瘦体重与_(M1)呈线性关系,即_(M1)随腿部瘦体重增加而增加;运动训练前和训练后腿部M_(1)肌肉隔室空间平均电导率及空间平均电导率差比的增长趋势与细胞外液体积差比率相同。结论由于电导率对细胞外水分量变化敏感,而细胞外液体积变化与肌浆肥大相关。在连续5 d的EIT测量中,空间平均电导率_(M1)呈上升趋势,这意味着肌肉纤维体积的增加,发生肌浆肥大现象。因此,EIT能够有效地评估运动训练增加人类小腿肌肉纤维体积的效果。

Soil capacity to support life and to produce economic goods and services is strongly linked to the maintenance of good soil physical quality(SPQ). In this study, the SPQ of citrus orchards was assessed under three different soil managements, namely no-tillage using herbicides, tillage under chemical farming, and no-tillage under organic farming. Commonly used indicators, such as soil bulk density,organic carbon content, and structural stability index, were considered in conjunction with capacitive indicators estimated by the Beerkan estimation of soil transfer parameter(BEST) method. The measurements taken at the L'Alcoleja Experimental Station in Spain yielded optimal values for soil bulk density and organic carbon content in 100% and 70% of cases for organic farming. The values of structural stability index indicated that the soil was stable in 90% of cases. Differences between the soil management practices were particularly clear in terms of plant-available water capacity and saturated hydraulic conductivity. Under organic farming, the soil had the greatest ability to store and provide water to plant roots, and to quickly drain excess water and facilitate root *** practices adopted under organic farming(such as vegetation cover between the trees, chipping after pruning, and spreading the chips on the soil surface) improved the SPQ. Conversely, the conventional management strategies unequivocally led to soil degradation owing to the loss of organic matter, soil compaction, and reduced structural stability. The results in this study show that organic farming has a clear positive impact on the SPQ, suggesting that tillage and herbicide treatments should be avoided.

The community living around the Cikaniki Area of Gunung Halimun Salak National Park(CAGHSNP)uses various plants to fulfill their *** habits are related to indigenous knowledge of using plants as food,medicine,construction,and household utilities,which dynamic societal changes have not *** study aimed to inventory and update potential plants used as food,medicine,construction,and household utilities by local communities in the Cikaniki area,and measure and analyze their cultural and ethnobotanical *** study objected to five hamlets in the Cikaniki at Malasari Village,Nanggung District,Bogor Regency,West Java,*** quantitative analysis was calculated based on the Informant Consensus Factor,Fidelity Level,and Use *** analyzed the qualitative data based on the data collection through observation,interviews,and documentation from informants and respondents in five *** study recorded 199 plant species from 75 families used by the community of *** most utilized species in Cikaniki were Staurogyne elongata,Caryota mitis,Blumea balsamifera,Castanopsis argentea,Pilea melastomoides,and Piper *** are 72 species of plants used as food,122species for medicinal purposes,and 50 species of plants used for construction and household *** potential plant species in the CA-GHSNP,their utilization categories,and recommendation for conservation strategy are discussed.

Soyang Lake is the largest lake in Republic of Korea bordering Chuncheon,Yanggu,and Inje in Gangwon *** is widely used as an environmental resource for hydropower,flood control,and water ***,we conducted a survey of the floodplain of Soyang Lake to analyze the sediments in the *** used global positioning system(GPS)data and aerial photography to monitor sediment deposits in the Soyang Lake *** from three GPS units were compared to determine the accuracy of sampling location *** samples were collected at three sites:two in the eastern region of the floodplain and one in the western region.A total of eight samples were collected:Three samples were collected at 10 cm intervals to a depth of 30 cm from each site of the eastern sampling point,and two samples were collected at depths of 10 and 30 cm at the western sampling *** were collected and analyzed for vertical and horizontal trends in particle size and moisture *** sizes of the sediment samples ranged from coarse to very coarse sediments with a negative slope,which indicate eastward movement from the *** probability of a breach was indicated by the high water content at the eastern side of the floodplain,with the eastern sites showing a higher probability than the western *** results of this study indicate that analyses of grain fineness,moisture content,sediment deposits,and sediment removal rates can be used to understand and predict the direction of breach movement and sediment distribution in Soyang Lake.
