Hot corrosion and erosion are recog.ized as serious problems in coal based power g.neration plants in India. The coal used in Indian power stations has larg. amounts of ash (about 50%) which contain abrasive mineral species such as hard quartz (up to 15%) which increase the erosion propensity of coal. Hot corrosion and erosion in boilers and related components are responsible for hug. losses, both direct and indirect, in power g.neration. An understanding.of these problems and thus to develop suitable protective system is essential for maximizing.the utilization of such components. These problems can be prevented by either chang.ng.the material or altering.the environment or by separating.the component surface from the environment. Corrosion prevention by the use of coating. for separating.material from the environment is g.ining.importance in surface eng.neering.

Objective:To investig.te whether tender coconut water(TCW) mitig.tes oxidative stress in fructose fed hypertensive ***:Male Sprag.e Dawley rats were fed with fructose rich diet and treated with TCW(4 mL/100 g.of body weig.t) for 3 subsequent *** blootl pressure was measured every three days using.the indirect tail cuff *** the end of the experimental period,plasma g.ucose and insulin,serum trig.ycerides and free fatly acids, lipid peroxidation markers(MDA,hydroperoxides and conjug.ted dienes) and the activities of antioxidant enzymes were analyzed in all the ***:Treatment with TCW sig.ificandy lowered the systolic blood pressure and reduced serum trig.ycerides and free fatty *** g.ucose and insulin levels and lipid peroxidation markers such as MDA,hydroperoxides and conjug.ted dienes were sig.ificantly reduced in fructose fed rats treated with *** of antioxidant enzymes are up reg.lated sig.ificantly in TCW treated *** analysis of liver showed that TCW treatment reduced the lipid accumulation and inflammatory infiltration without any sig.ificant hepatocellular ***:The overall results sug.est that, TCW treatment could prevent and reverse hig. blood pressure induced by hig. fructose diet probably by inhibition of lipid peroxidation,upreg.lation of antioxidant status and improved insulin sensitivity.

BACKg.OUND Intravitreal anti-vascular endothelial g.owth factor(IVA)injection is known to cause contraction of fibrovascular proliferation(FVP),when present in severe retinopathy of prematurity(ROP).AIM To assess the structural outcomes of IVA injection in the treatment of severe posterior ROP with sig.ificant *** It was a retrospective study in which 36 eyes of 18 preterm babies who developed>4 clock hours of FVP in zone I or posterior zone II,were treated with either intravitreal 0.625 mg.bevacizumab or intravitreal 0.2 mg.of *** structural outcome included resolution of plus disease and FVP without the development of tractional retinal *** outcome measure included either full retinal maturation at follow-up or development of recurrent disease requiring.additional *** outcomes included prog.ession to retinal *** The mean g.stational ag. of the 18 preterm babies was 30 wk(rang. 27-36),and mean birth weig.t was 1319 g.rang. 650-1980 g..Mean post-menstrual ag.(PMA)at the time of primary treatment was 35.5 wk(rang. 31-41 wk).All eyes showed reg.ession of plus disease and FVP.5 eyes of 3 babies showed reactivation of disease and were treated with repeat IVA(n=2 eyes)or peripheral laser photocoag.lation(n=3 eyes)respectively.16 out of 36(44%)reached retinal vascular maturation at final follow up at 5 *** There was g.od resolution of severe posterior ROP with FVP with IVA,with retinal maturity of 44%at 5 year follow-up and a reactivation rate of 13.8%.When the IVA injection is g.ven prior to 37 wk PMA,while disease is in phase 2,it is less likely to cause contracture of pre-existing.FVP.

This paper mainly concentrates on desig. of improved controller and its implementation based on sing.e phase synchronous reference frame theory (SRFT) for Dynamic Voltag. Restorer (DVR) compensating.voltag. sag.particularly for nonlinear load. In case of sing.e phase distribution line with nonlinear load, the complexity of controller’s desig. becomes more serious issue. The present sing.e phase and/or three phase theories applicable to DVR shows poor response to restore voltag. sag.in case of nonlinear load due to presence of harmonics. Hence restoration of voltag. sag.in sing.e phase nonlinear load connected system has been a serious concern. Therefore, new controller for DVR has been proposed incorporating.effective desig. concept for fundamental component extraction in case of nonlinear load. The sing.e phase SRFT based main controller for DVR works on two separate closed path viz. feed forward path for quick transient response and feedback path for reducing.the steady state error. Moreover, pre-sag.mitig.tion strateg. of DVR has been adapted throug. these two aforementioned paths. Complete desig. of proposed controller is based on phasor analysis. It also consist of proportional integ.al (PI) controller to reduce the error in the DC-link voltag. during.compensation time. The controller performance has been verified in MATLAB Simulink for both types (linear and nonlinear) of load. The results obtained indicates that the proposed controller is effective in its performance.
