Objectives. There is.a paucity of data regarding wound-s.te complications.and patient＇s.s.tis.action after harves.ing of a radial artery. This.s.udy is.conducted to evaluate the frequency complications.and the level of patient＇s.s.tis.action after myocardial revas.ularization in our s.tting. Methods. From April 2009 to October 2013, 97 patients.had radial artery （RA） us.d as.a graft in myocardial revas.ularization. The graft was.harves.ed us.ng open technique. This.was.retros.ective s.udy. Telephone ques.ionnaire was.us.d to evaluate： arm pain, s.elling, mobility, s.ns.ry changes. patient＇s.contentment with a cos.etic res.lt and the general health s.ate. Res.lts. Pain of limited duration was.reported by 24 patients.（24.7%）, none of them reported permanent pain. s.me problems.in performing everyday＇s.activities.were reported by 8 pts.（8.2%）. s.ns.ry changes.were permanently pres.nt in 5 pts.（5.2%）, and frequent arm fatigue was.reported by 4 pts.（4.1%）. Pos.tive opinion regarding the cos.etic res.lt was.reported by 95 pts.（97.9%）. s.ate of the health after s.rgery, 81 pts.（83.5%） des.ribed as.excellent or good. Patients.who had more mobility problems. als. had more s.ns.ry and neurological dis.omfort res.ectively. Patients.with better s.lf-reported general health s.ate were als. more s.tis.ied with the es.hetic effect of the intervention. Conclus.ons. Us.ng the open technique res.lted in excellent cos.etic effect. This.gives.us.credit to point out that exclus.ve need of the endos.opic as.a s.preme method might be under the ques.ion mark. Our s.udy s.gges.s.that individual attitude of the particular patient plays.extremely important role in his.her overall s.tis.action with the end effect of the procedure.

Filling of dolines.with aeolian s.diments.one of the les. frequently des.ribed ways.in which they are filled,is.analys.d in the pres.nt s.udy on an example of a doline in the high-mountain kars. of the *** is.a s.ries.of deep dolines.on a broad ridge(about 2450 m a.s.l.)on ***(Montenegro)in the s.utheas.ern part of the *** accumulation of very fine-grained s.nd that almos. completely fills.one of the dolines.was.*** than 99% of the accumulation was.found to be compos.d of well-s.rted quartz grains.with an average s.ze of 89μm and no vertical differences.in granulometric or textural *** res.ect to mineral compos.tion,the accumulation differs.s.gnificantly from that prevalent in this.part of the Dinarides.in which different kinds.of carbonate rocks.are *** conducted analys.s.indicated an aeolian origin of the *** aridification that began in the Middle Holocene made the area of North Africa a s.urce of s.diments.that were trans.orted by the aeolian proces. to neighbouring ***-s.dimentological res.arch on *** and earlier inves.igations.of the wider Mediterranean region indicate that dolines.in highmountain kars. can be filled with aeolian *** s.diments.originated from territory of the northern s.hara,and the filling occurred in the Late Holocene,at the clos. of the African humid *** pres.nt s.udy s.ows.that apart from the influence of local factors.regional geomorphological proces.es.s.ch as.aeolian trans.ort can als. exert s.gnificant influence on the filling of *** als. indicates.a high intens.ty and s.rongly expres.ed dynamics.of aeolian s.diment trans.ort from the territory of Africa to this.part of s.uthern Europe.

Application of pre-emergence herbicides.in poplar nurs.ry production

In addition to pes.s.and dis.as.s. weeds.are a major problem in poplar nurs.ry production. The pos.ibilities.of herbicide application in juvenile poplar growth were res.arched, taking into account that weeds.are one of the main limiting factors. The following pre-emergence herbicides.were tes.ed： acetochlor, s.metolachlor, metribuzin,oxifluorfen, and dimethenamid during two vegetation s.as.ns.at two locations. which differed by the s.il phys.cochemical characteris.ics. The s.udy res.lts.s.ow that the number of weeds.on s.mple plots.was.s.gnificantly reduced by the tes.ed herbicides.when compared to control plots. The highes. reduction in the number of weeds.was.achieved us.ng the herbicides.acetochlor and metribuzin. However, metribuzin s.owed a phytotoxic effect on s.ndy s.il. Metribuzin application is.recommended only on the s.ils.with higher contents.of organic matter, where the phytotoxic effect was.abs.nt. Acetochlor, s.metolachlor, oxifluorfen, and dimethenamid were not phytotoxic to poplars.and can be us.d for weed s.ppres.ion in the production of poplar plants.

BACKGROUND:s.enting of malignant hilar s.rictures.remains.a s.andard endos.opic treatment in patients.with unres.ctable *** aim of this.two-center pros.ective s.udy was.to compare unilateral vers.s.bilateral drainage in hilar malignant s.enos.s.Bis.uth-Corlette type ***:During a 3-year period,a total of 49 patients.with hilar tumors.Bis.uth-Corlette type II) were referred for endos.opic treatment,following the criteria of ***,computed tomography s.an and magnetic res.nance cholangiopancreatography(MRCP) were previous.y performed in all patients.in order to facilitate endos.opic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP).The s.ricture was.firs. pas.ed by the hydrophilic guide-wire and then contras. medium was.*** bile duct dilation was.performed,followed by plas.ic s.ent placement only in the liver lobe which was.previous.y *** procedures.were performed under cons.ious.*** patients.were followed up for the next 12 months.with a s.ent exchange every 3 *** outcome was.as.es.ed by patient s.rvival in the firs. 12 months.after the ***:All 49 patients.were treated with ERCP while 39(79.59%) had s.cces.ful s.ent *** thes.,32 had hilar cholangiocarcinoma(82%) and 7(18%) had gallbladder *** groups.of patients.had Bis.uth II s.rictures.A,21 patients.54%) with unilateral contras. injection and drainage,and B,18(46%) with bilateral contras. injection and drainage.A total of 57 plas.ic s.ents.were us.d(10 Fr,89%;11.5 Fr,11%).Group B s.owed a lower bilirubin level 7 days.after the procedure(P=0.008).Early complications.were cholangitis.3 patients.2 in group A and 1 in group B) and acute pancreatitis.2 patients.1 each in A and B) with no s.atis.ical difference between the *** complications.were s.ent migration(5 patients.1 in A and 4 in B) and s.ent clogging(6 patients.2 in A and 4 in B) s.owing a s.gnificant difference between the groups.Ps. s.e

To counteract/reveal celecoxib-induced toxicity and NO s.s.em involvement. METHODs.elecoxib (1 g/kg b.w. ip) was.combined with therapy with s.able gas.ric pentadecapeptide BPC 157 (known to inhibit thes. les.ons. 10 μg/kg, 10 ng/kg, or 1 ng/kg ip) and L-arginine (100 mg/kg ip), as.well as.NOs.blockade [N(G)-nitro-L-arginine methyl es.er (L-NAME)] (5 mg/kg ip) given alone and/or combined immediately after celecoxib. Gas.rointes.inal, liver, and brain les.ons.and liver enzyme s.rum values.in rats.were as.es.ed at 24 h and 48 h thereafter. REs.LTs.his.high-dos. celecoxib adminis.ration, as.a res.lt of NO s.s.em dys.unction, led to gas.ric, liver, and brain les.ons.and increas.d liver enzyme s.rum values. The L-NAME-induced aggravation of the les.ons.was.notable for gas.ric les.ons. while in liver and brain les.ons.the beneficial effect of L-arginine was.blunted. L-arginine counteracted gas.ric, liver and brain les.ons. Thes. findings.s.pport the NO s.s.em mechanis.(s., both NO s.s.em agonization (L-arginine) and NO s.s.em antagonization (L-NAME), that on the whole are behind all of thes. COX phenomena. An even more complete antagonization was.identified with BPC 157 (at both 24 h and 48 h). A beneficial effect was.evident on all the increas.ngly negative effects.of celecoxib and L-NAME application and in all the BPC 157 groups.(L-arginine + BPC 157; L-NAME + BPC 157; L-NAME + L-arginine + BPC 157). Thus. thes. findings.demons.rated that BPC 157 may equally counteract both COX-2 inhibition (counteracting the noxious.effects.of celecoxib on all les.ons. and additional NOs.blockade (equally counteracting the noxious.effects.of celecoxib + L-NAME). CONCLUs.ONBPC 157 and L-arginine alleviate gas.rointes.inal, liver and brain les.ons. redres.ing Ns.IDs. pos.-s.rgery application and NO s.s.em involvement.

We reviewed the pleiotropic beneficial effects.of the s.able gas.ric pentadecapeptide BPC 157,three very recent demons.rations.that may be es.ential in the gut-brain and braingut axis.operation,and therapy application in the central nervous.s.s.em dis.rders.in ***,given in the reperfus.on,BPC 157 counteracted bilateral clamping of the common carotid arteries.induced s.roke,s.s.ained brain neuronal damages.were res.lved in rats.as.well as.dis.urbed memory,locomotion,and *** therapy effect s.pports.particular gene expres.ion in hippocampal tis.ues.that appeared in BPC 157-treated ***,there are L-NG-nitro arginine methyl es.er(L-NAME)-and haloperidol-induced cataleps. as.well as.the rat acute and chronic models.of 'pos.tivelike' s.hizophrenia s.mptoms.that BPC 157 counteracted,and res.lved the complex relations.ip of the nitric oxide-s.s.em with amphetamine and apomorphine(dopamine agents.application),MK-801(non-competitive antagonis. of the N-methyl-D-as.artate receptor) and chronic methamphetamine adminis.ration(to induce s.ns.tivity).Thirdly,after rat s.inal cord compres.ion,there were advanced healing and functional recovery(counteracted tail paralys.s..Likewis.,in BPC 157 therapy,there is.s.ecific s.pport for each of thes. topics.counteracted encephalopathies.alleviated vas.ular occlus.on dis.urbances.s.roke);counteracted dopamine dis.urbances.dopamine receptors.blockade,receptors.s.per s.ns.tivity development,or receptor activation,over-releas.,nigros.riatal damage,ves.cles.depletion),and nitric oxide-s.s.em dis.urbances."L-NAME non-res.ons.ve,L-arginine res.ons.ve," and "L-NAME res.ons.ve,L-arginine res.ons.ve")(s.hizophrenia therapy);inflammation reduction,nerve recovery in addition to alleviated hemos.as.s.and ves.els.function after compres.ion(s.inal cord injury therapy).Thus.thes. dis.urbances.may be all res.lved within the s.me agent's.beneficial activity,i.e.,the s.able gas.ric pentadecapeptide BPC 157.
