The focus of this study is to investigate the arsenic movement and impacts on the residual concentrations on groundwater pollution *** Gangetic plain area in the Ballia,Uttar Pradesh is selected as study area,which is also reported to extreme arsenic pollution in soil-water system.A modelling approach is developed to assess the arsenic flux in partially saturated zone using data of soil texture,soil hydraulic properties and *** type,slope,and land-use cover is considered for estimating the transient flux at the top boundary from daily precipitation and evapotranspiration data of the study *** transport in the subsurface is predicted by the mass transfer equation,which is derived by integrating Darcy's law with the equation of mass *** arsenic profiles of varying hydrogeological conditions associated with different locations in the study area are presented as breakthrough *** results shows that the arsenic transport is dominated by the advective flux and strongly depends on the soilmoisture flow *** may increases the arsenic load to underlaying groundwater *** simulated results suggest that mobility plays a vital role arsenic transport as well as on adsorbed arsenic concentration in ***,the adsorption isotherms show that the high peak curve for Bairai and low at Sikarderpur.A higher pollution risk is observed in the Belthara Road,whereas a lower vulnerability is computed in the north and northeast *** study can help in strategising sustainable groundwater management and protection planning of identified regions of India.

Compared with common intelligent service,full-scene intelligent service has its uniqueness in high integration,synergy,and technological ***,the traditional service or business model theories cannot precisely elaborate its sociotechnical contextual nature and value creation *** fill this knowledge gap,we provide initial insights into the value co-creation logic in full-scene intelligent service by exploring the value co-creation elements using a data-driven text mining *** analyzed 171 business reports on the full-scene intelligent service by the topic modeling using the Latent Dirichlet Allocation(LDA).The findings reveal three main clusters:value proposition,participants,and connection *** study presents a theoretical framework for a further exploratory case study and quantitative research on full-scene intelligent *** study also helps small and medium-sized enterprises to explore and exploit value co-creation opportunities.

The rise of automation with Machine-Type Communication(MTC)holds great potential in developing Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT)-based applications such as smart cities,Intelligent Transportation Systems(ITS),supply chains,and smart industries without any human ***,MTC has to cope with significant security challenges due to heterogeneous data,public network connectivity,and inadequate security *** overcome the aforementioned issues,we have proposed a blockchain and garlic-routing-based secure data exchange framework,i.e.,GRADE,which alleviates the security constraints and maintains the stable connection in ***,the Long-Short-Term Memory(LSTM)-based Nadam optimizer efficiently predicts the class label,i.e.,malicious and non-malicious,and forwards the non-malicious data requests of MTC to the Garlic Routing(GR)*** GR network assigns a unique ElGamal encrypted session tag to each machine partaking in ***,an Advanced Encryption Standard(AES)is applied to encrypt the MTC data ***,the InterPlanetary File System(IPFS)-based blockchain is employed to store the machine's session tags,which increases the scalability of the proposed GRADE ***,the proposed framework has utilized the indispensable benefits of the 6G network to enhance the network performance of ***,the proposed GRADE framework is evaluated against different performance metrics such as scalability,packet loss,accuracy,and compromised rate of the MTC data *** results show that the GRADE framework outperforms the baseline methods in terms of accuracy,i.e.,98.9%,compromised rate,i.e.,18.5%,scalability,i.e.,47.2%,and packet loss ratio,i.e.,24.3%.

Most of the studies on Artificial Neural Network(ANN)models remain restricted to smaller rivers and *** this paper,an attempt has been made to correlate variability of sediment loads with rainfall and runoff through the application of the Back Propagation Neural Network(BPNN)algorithm for a large tropical *** algorithm and simulation are done through MATLAB *** methodology comprised of a collection of data on rainfall,water discharge,and sediment discharge for the Narmada River at various locations(along with time variables)and application to develop a threelayer BPNN model for the prediction of sediment *** training and validation purposes a set of549 data points for the monsoon(16 june-15 November)period of three consecutive years(1996-1998)was *** testing purposes,the BPNN model was further trained using a set of 732 data points of monsoon season of four years(2006-07 to 2009-10)at nine *** model was tested by predicting daily sediment load for the monsoon season of the year *** evaluate the performance of the BPNN model,errors were calculated by comparing the actual and predicted *** validation and testing results obtained at all these locations are tabulated and *** obtained from the model application are robust and encouraging not only for the sub-basins but also for the entire *** results suggest that the proposed model is capable of predicting the daily sediment load even at downstream locations,which show nonlinearity in the transportation ***,the proposed model with further training might be useful in the prediction of sediment discharges for large river basins.

B-cell Ligand Processing Pathways Detected by Large-scale Comparative Analysis

The initiation of B-cell ligand recognition is a critical step for the generation of an immune response against foreign bodies. We sought to identify the biochemical pathways involved in the B-cell ligand recognition cascade and sets of ligands that trigger similar immunological responses. We utilized several comparative approaches to analyze the gene coexpression networks generated from a set of microarray experiments spanning 33 different ligands. First, we compared the degree distributions of the generated networks. Second, we utilized a pairwise network alignment algorithm, BiNA, to align the networks based on the hubs in the networks. Third, we aligned the networks based on a set of KEGG pathways. We summarized our results by constructing a consensus hierarchy of pathways that are involved in B cell ligand recognition. The resulting pathways were further validated through literature for their common physiological responses. Col- lectively, the results based on our comparative analyses of degree distributions, alignment of hubs, and alignment based on KEGG path- ways provide a basis for molecular characterization of the immune response states of B-cells and demonstrate the power of comparative approaches （e.g., gene coexpression network alignment algorithms） in elucidating biochemical pathways involved in complex signaling events in ceils.

Volatile organic compounds(VOCs)are the important precursors of the tropospheric ozone(O3)and secondary organic aerosols(SOA),both of which are known to harm human health and disrupt the earth’s climate *** this study,VOC emission factors,O3 and SOA formation potentials were estimated for two types of industrial boilers:coal-fired boilers(n=3)and oil-fired boilers(n=3).Results showed that EVOCs concentrations were more than nine times higher for oil-fire d boilers compared to those for coal-fired *** factors ofΣVOCs were found to be higher for oil-fired boilers(9.26-32.83 mg-VOC/kg)than for coal-fired boilers(1.57-4.13 mg-VOC/kg).Alkanes and aromatics were obtained as the most abundant groups in coal-fired boilers,while oxygenated organics and aromatics were the most contributing groups in oil-fired ***,n-hexane and o-ethyl toluene were the abundant VOC species in coal-fired boiler emissions,whereas toluene was the most abundant VOC species emitted from oil-fired boilers.O3 and SOA formation potentials were found 12 and 18 times,respectively,higher for oil-fired than for coal-fired *** OFP ranged from 3.99 to 11.39 mg-O3/kg for coal-fired *** oil-fired boilers,total OFP ranged from 36.16 to 131.93 mg-O3/***,total secondary organic aerosol potential(SOAP)ranged from 65.4 to 122.5 mg-SOA/kg and 779.9 to 2252.5 mg-SOA/kg for the coal-fired and oil-fired boilers,respectively.

A catalyst- and solvent-free protocol for the synthesis of 7-azagramine analogues is described via a three-component Mannich type reaction between 7-azaindole, aromatic aldehydes and heterocyclic amines in acceptable to excellent yields. Structures of the compounds were confirmed satisfactorily by ~1H NMR, IR, mass, TOCSY, HSQC and HMBC spectral analyses.

In a quest of search for a new burning rate modifier for composite propellant, strontium titanate (SrTiO3), a perovskite oxide has been chosen for evaluation in a composite propellant formulation based on its other catalytic applications. Initially, SrTiO3 was characterized for particle size, morphology and material/ phase identification (using XRD). By varying SrTiO3 content in a standard composite propellant, different compositions were prepared and their performance and processing parameters like the end of mix (EOM) viscosity, mechanical properties, density, burning rate, pressure exponent (n-value), etc. were measured. The results reveal that 2% SrTiO3 causes more than 12% enhancement in propellant burning rate (at 70 ksc pressure) in comparison to the standard propellant composition. The pressure exponent also increases to 0.46, whereas the standard composition was having its value as 0.35.

Metallurgical Studies of Austenitic Stainless Steel 304 under Warm Deep Drawing

Austenitic stainless steel 304 was deep drawn with different blank diameters under warm conditions using 20 t hydraulic press. A number of deep drawing experiments both at room temperature and at 150 ℃ were conducted to study the metallography. Also, tensile test experiments were conducted on a universal testing machine up to 700 ℃ and the broken specimens were used to study the fractography of the material using scanning electron microscopy in various regions. The microstructure changes were observed at limiting draw ratio （LDR） when the cup is drawn at different temperatures. In austenitic stainless steel, martensite formation takes place that is not only affected by temperature, hut also influenced by the rate at which the material is deformed. In austenitic stainless steel 304, dynamic strain regime appears above 300 ℃ and it decreases the formability of material due to brittle fracture as studied in its fractography. From the metallographic studies, the maximum LDR of the material is observed at 150 ℃ before dynamic strain regime. It is also observed that at 150 ℃, grains are coarse in the drawn cups at LDR.
