In this work,we propose a context-aware switching of routing protocol scheme for speciﬁc application requirements of IoT in real-time using a software-deﬁned networking controller in wireless sensor *** work planned has two stages i)Selection of suitable routing protocol(RP)for given IoT applications using higher cognitive process and ii)Deployment of the corresponding routing *** use the supervised learning-regression method for classiﬁcation of the routing protocol while considering the network parameters like stability,path delay,energy utilization,and *** chosen routing protocol will be set in the sensor network using a software-deﬁned networking controller in an exceedinglyﬂexible manner during the second *** simulation has been done and results are evaluated to point out the strength of the proposed work,while dynamically varying the speciﬁc requirements of IoT *** observe that the work proposed is path-breaking the prevailing methods,where a speciﬁc routing protocol is employed throughout the period of ***’s clearly shown that the proposed,Low-cost Context-Aware Protocol Switching(LCAPS)scheme is efﬁcient in improving the performance of the sensor network and also meets the speciﬁc application requirements of IoT by using Software-Deﬁned Wireless Sensor Networks SDWSNs.

In this paper,we report synthesis of pure SrMoO_(4),Sm^(3+)(1 at%-5 at%)doped SrMoO_(4)and Bi^(3+)(1 at%-3 at%)co-doped in 4 at%Sm^(3+)doped SrMoO_(4)(SrMoO_(4):4 Sm^(3+))phosphors by solution combustion *** X-ray diffraction(XRD)analysis reveals the tetragonal phase of all samples,also Bi^(3+)co-doping supports crystallite size growth and reduces lattice *** analysis of Sm^(3+)doped SrMoO_(4)ascertains a decrease in band gap and Bi^(3+)co-doping confirms the emergence of an absorbance peak at around 308 nm attributed to Bi^(3+)energy ***(PL)analysis ascertains an increase in emission peaks for Sm^(3+)doped SrMoO_(4)up to 4%concentration,which are attributed to an electron transition from 4 G5/2 to 6 HJ(J=5/2,7/2,9/2,and 11/2)energy levels of Sm^(3+)*** have explained the effects of Bi^(3+)co-doping on the luminescence of Sm^(3+)doped SrMoO_(4).The reduced microstrain and increased crystallinity of the phosphors as a result of Bi^(3+)co-doping and their correlation with the luminescence of Sm^(3+)ions are discussed.

Renewable energy-based solar photovoltaic(PV)generation is the best alternative for conventional energy sources because of its natural abundance and environment friendly *** power extraction from the PV system plays a critical role in increasing the efficiency of the solar power generation during partial shading conditions(PSCs).Therefore,a suitable maximum power point tracking(MPPT)technique to track the maximum power point(MPP)is of high need,even under *** paper presents an organized and concise review of MPPT techniques implemented for the PV systems in literature along with recent publications on various hardware design *** classification is done into four categories,***,intelligent,optimal,and hybrid depending on the tracking algorithm utilized to track MPP under *** uniform insolation,classical methods are highly preferred as there is only one peak in the P-V ***,under PSCs,the F-V curve exhibits multiple peaks,one global maximum power point(GMPP)and remaining are local maximum power points(LMPP’s).Under the PSCs,classical methods fail to operate at GMPP and hence there is a need for more advanced MPPT *** MPPT technique has its advantages and limits,but a streamlined MPPT is drafted in numerous parameters like sensors required,hardware implementation,cost viability,tracking speed and tracking *** study provides the advancement in this area since some parameter comparison is made at the end of every classification,which might be a prominent base-rule for picking the most gainful sort of MPPT for further research.

The Garhwal Himalaya is among the major repositories of immensely valuable wild edible plants and provides food security to the local *** the valuable plant species that grow in this region,Paeonia emodi(family Paeoniaceae)is an important wild edible species that found in temperate regions with an altitude range between 1800 and 2800 *** species is facing a severe threat to its sustainability due to overharvesting,habitat disturbances,and a lack of effort regarding *** the first time,this study investigated anthropogenic pressure,population decline perceptions in the natural habitat,and vulnerability assessment of *** under selected study sites(n=23 villages).A semi structured questionnaire was used to interview approximately 45%of the local inhabitants,including herbal practitioners(Vaidhyas or Dais)of each *** the basis of demographic characteristics,the perceptions and responses of 464 local people were documented regarding potential causes of deterioration and feasible options for sustainable *** the weight survey method,we estimated the actual amount of collection based on personal interaction and direct *** order to determine the threats status,a rapid vulnerability assessment(RVA)was performed and were used based on the current exploitation and *** present study revealed that leaf(100%)was the most frequently harvested part,followed by stem(95.65%),seed(26.09%),root(21.74%)and flower(13.04%).The village Triyuginarayan and Pothivasa recorded the highest collection scores while the purpose of the collection was mostly edible(100%),medicinal(100%),and least commercial(8.70%).According to the literature review and the present survey,the RVA(total=21)is categorized as category II(intermediate side of the RVA index),indicating a degree of *** study revealed that *** faces extinction in the Garhwal *** this species through agro-production techniques may alleviate th

Due to limited spatial and temporal in-situ runoff data availability,Himalaya-Karakoram(HK)glaciohydrology has a significant knowledge gap between large-scale and small-scale runoff modelling *** study reconstructs longest basin-wide runoff series in Chandra-Bhaga Basin by applying a high-resolution glaciohydrological model SPHY(Spatial Processes in Hydrology)over 1950–***-tier model calibration is done using in-situ basin-wide runoff(1973–2006)and MODIS snow cover(2003–2018).Model validation is done against in-situ Chhota Shigri Glacier catchment-wide runoff(2010–2015).The modelled mean annual basin-wide runoff is 60.21±6.17 m^(3)/s over 1950–2022,with maximum runoff in summer-monsoon months,peaking in July(182.69 m^(3)/s).Glacier runoff(ice melt+snowmelt over glacier)contributes maximum(39%)followed by equal contributions from snowmelt runoff from non-glacierized basin area and baseflow(25%),while rainfall-runoff contributes minimum(11%)to total *** is a significant volumetric increase by∼7%from pre-(59.17 m^(3)/s)to post-2000(63.47 m^(3)/s)mainly because of early onset of snowmelt post-2000 that resulted in a hydrograph shift by∼25 days earlier in *** glacier runoff is overestimated by 3%from RGI 7.0 inventory compared to different manually delineated inventories over 1950–2022,because of higher glacierized area from RGI *** precipitation shows a negative trend,but total runoff shows a positive trend due to positive trend of temperature that resulted in more glacier runoff and rainfall-runoff for basin over last 72 ***-wide runoff is mainly governed by summer temperature which directly controls the amount of glacier and snowmelt runoffs and is supported by summer *** study highlights importance of basin-scale model calibration with in-situ data in large scale studies and stresses the need for in-situ observations in high-altitude Himalayan ***-scale calibrated model parameters are transferable to glacie

Timely identification and treatment of medical conditions could facilitate faster recovery and better *** systems address this issue using custom-built sensors,which are invasive and difficult to generalize.A low-complexity scalable process is proposed to detect and identify medical conditions from 2D skeletal movements on video feed *** set of features relevant to distinguish medical conditions:AMF,PVF and GDF are derived from skeletal data on sampled frames across the entire *** AMF(angular motion features)are derived to capture the angular motion of limbs during a specific *** relative position of joints is represented by PVF(positional variation features).GDF(global displacement features)identifies the direction of overall skeletal *** discriminative capability of these features is illustrated by their variance across time for different *** classification of medical conditions is approached in two *** the first stage,a low-complexity binary LSTM classifier is trained to distinguish visual medical conditions from general human *** part of stage 2,a multi-class LSTM classifier is trained to identify the exact medical condition from a given set of visually interpretable medical *** proposed features are extracted from the 2D skeletal data of NTU RGB+D and then used to train the binary and multi-class LSTM *** binary and multi-class classifiers observed average F1 scores of 77%and 73%,respectively,while the overall system produced an average F1 score of 69%and a weighted average F1 score of 80%.The multi-class classifier is found to utilize 10 to 100 times fewer parameters than existing 2D CNN-based models while producing similar levels of accuracy.
