BAcKGROUND Left main coronary artery(LMcA)supplies more than 80%of the left ventricle,and significant disease of this artery carries a high mortality unless intervened ***,the influence of coronary artery bypass grafting(cABG)surgery on patients with LMcA disease on morbidity intensive care unit(IcU)outcomes needs to be ***,the impact of cABG surgery on the morbidity of the IcU population with LMcA disease is worth *** To determine whether LMcA disease is a definitive risk factor of prolonged IcU stay as a primary outcome and early morbidity within the IcU stay as secondary *** Retrospective descriptive study with purposive sampling analyzing 399 patients who underwent isolated urgent or elective *** were divided into 2 groups;those with LMcA disease as group 1(75 patients)and those without LMcA disease as group 2(324 patients).We correlated IcU outcome parameters including IcU length of stay,post-operative atrial fibrillation,acute kidney injury,re-exploration,perioperative myocardial infarction,post-operative bleeding in both *** Patients with LMcA disease had a significantly higher prevalence of diabetes(43.3%vs 29%,P=0.001).However,we did not find a statistically significant difference with regards to IcU stay,or other morbidity and mortality outcome *** Post-operative performance of Patients with LMcA disease who underwent cABG were comparable to those without LMcA *** was more prevalent in patients with LMcA *** findings may help in guiding decision making for future practice and stratifying the patients’care.

Bi3+assisted luminescence in SrMoO_(4):Sm^(3+) red phosphors

In this paper,we report synthesis of pure SrMoO_(4),Sm^(3+)(1 at%-5 at%)doped SrMoO_(4)and Bi^(3+)(1 at%-3 at%)co-doped in 4 at%Sm^(3+)doped SrMoO_(4)(SrMoO_(4):4 Sm^(3+))phosphors by solution combustion *** X-ray diffraction(XRD)analysis reveals the tetragonal phase of all samples,also Bi^(3+)co-doping supports crystallite size growth and reduces lattice *** analysis of Sm^(3+)doped SrMoO_(4)ascertains a decrease in band gap and Bi^(3+)co-doping confirms the emergence of an absorbance peak at around 308 nm attributed to Bi^(3+)energy ***(PL)analysis ascertains an increase in emission peaks for Sm^(3+)doped SrMoO_(4)up to 4%concentration,which are attributed to an electron transition from 4 G5/2 to 6 HJ(J=5/2,7/2,9/2,and 11/2)energy levels of Sm^(3+)*** have explained the effects of Bi^(3+)co-doping on the luminescence of Sm^(3+)doped SrMoO_(4).The reduced microstrain and increased crystallinity of the phosphors as a result of Bi^(3+)co-doping and their correlation with the luminescence of Sm^(3+)ions are discussed.

The aldolization of various isatins with creatinine under gold catalysis in water has been *** reaction is operationally simple as the products can be isolated by simple filtration without requiring tedious solvent extraction and column chromatographic *** generality of this methodology is showcased through the reactions of a wide range of isatin derivatives with creatinine to afford the respective aldol products in excellent yields with complete syn‐*** scope of this chemistry is further extended to a tandem reaction involving isatins,creatinine and malononitrile to afford multicomponent products in excellent yields with complete anti‐*** antioxidant potency of the synthesized compound was assessed by a spectrophotometric method,which revealed that three compounds containing halogen atoms(2c,2d and2e)were the most active compared with the standard.

Thermal energy conversion and also storage system is to advance knowledge and develop practical solutions at the intersection of micro and nano-scale engineering,energy conversion,and *** research addresses the challenge of enhancing these critical aspects to ensure prolonged system performance and durability in the context of evolving energy *** research analyses the anti-oxidation and filtration behaviours of micro and nano-scale structures in the context of electro-and photo-thermal energy conversion and also storage systems.A micro multiscale hierarchical structure strategy is presented to fabricate multi-scale double-layer porous wick evaporators with the electrospun nanofibers made of gelatin-polyamide 6(GPA6)and Ti_(3)c_(2)T_(x)MXene/silver nanowire with cellulose Micro/NanoFibers(cMNF)cryogens by using spark plasma sintering(SPS)based high-pressure hydrothermal treatment *** excellent anti-oxidation effect was offered by coating the film in thermal conditions and the anti-oxidation properties were further examined from 500℃to850℃.The results are analysed using Matlab software to improve the efficiency of energy conversion processes by integrating nanostructures into thermal systems,to increase energy output while minimizing *** silver nanowire is with a heat transfer coefficient of 78%,a mass remaining rate of 98.7%,and an energy storage efficiency of 23.8%.This study enhances energy density and duration by integrating nanostructures into thermal systems while minimizing energy losses,and it not only exhibits excellent anti-oxidation properties but also possesses superior filtration capabilities for designing and engineering multifunctional nanomaterials.

All T cells require cytokine signaling for their development and maintenance, and cD8αα^(+) IEL T cells are noted for their requirement for IL-15 [8]. This IL-15 dependency was demonstrated by the paucity of cD8αα^(+) T cells among SI IELs in Il15–/– mice (Fig. 1d and Fig. S1a). However, the cytokine requirements of cD8αα^(+)cD4^(+) T cells are currently unclear. Because of the shared phenotype of cD8αα expression with cD8αα^(+) IELs, we postulated that cD4^(+)cD8αα^(+) IELs would also depend on IL-15.

Multiresidue pesticide analysis in tomato using Gc-MS/MS using modified QuEchERS method with titanium-coated graphite with cNT-ABS nanocomposite as dispersive solid-phase extraction materials

The presence of pesticide residues in food and vegetables is a growing concern for *** monitor these residues reliably,a selective and sensitive multiresidue system has been developed and validated in tomato by gas chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry(Gc-MS/MS).Titanium-coated graphite with carbon nanotube(cNT)in acrylonitrile–butadiene–styrene(ABS)used as reversed-dispersive solid-phase extraction materials with modified QuEchERS(Quick,Easy,cheap,Effective,Rugged,and Safe)***-coated graphite with cNT-ABS is synthesized,characterized by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron *** clean-up performance of titanium-coated graphite with cNT-ABS was demonstrated to be better to primary secondary amine and graphitized carbon black *** processing of two multiple reaction monitoring transformations for each analyte is done using Gc-MS/MS in electron impact *** purification and recovery effects(74%–100%)of 35 pesticides were achieved in tomato matrices when using 5 mg of titanium-coated graphite ABS-cNT *** was observed that quinolphos and deltamethrin are present above the maximum residue *** technique proved to be reliable and sensitive in tomato samples for the routine testing of 35 pesticides.

Long-term optical flux and colour variability in quasars

We have used optical V and R band observations from the Massive compact Halo Object （MAcHO） project on a sample of 59 quasars behind the Magellanic clouds to study their long term optical flux and colour variations. These quasars, lying in the redshift range of 0.2 〈 z 〈 2.8 and having apparent V band magnitudes between 16.6 and 20.1 mag, have observations ranging from 49 to 1353 epochs span- ning over 7.5 yr with frequency of sampling between 2 to 10 days. All the quasars show variability during the observing period. The normalised excess variance （Fvar） in V and R bands are in the range 0.2% 〈 F^r 〈 1.6% and 0.1% 〈 Fnr 〈 1.5% respectively. In a large fraction of the sources, Fvar is larger in the V band compared to the R band. From the z-transformed discrete cross-correlation function analysis, we find that there is no lag between the V and R band variations. Adopting the Markov chain Monte carlo （McMc） approach, and properly taking into account the correlation between the errors in colours and mag- nitudes, it is found that the majority of sources show a bluer when brighter trend, while a minor fraction of quasars show the opposite behaviour. This is similar to the results obtained from another two independent algorithms, namely the weighted linear least squares fit （FITEXY） and the bivariate correlated errors and intrinsic scatter regression （BcES）. However, the ordinary least squares （OLS） fit, normally used in the colour variability studies of quasars, indicates that all the quasars studied here show a bluer when brighter trend. It is therefore very clear that the OLS algorithm cannot be used for the study of colour variability in quasars.
