Therapeutic potential of ethyl acetate fraction of Tephrosia purpurea *** in a rat model of gout

Objective: The present study is to determine the potential treatment effects of ethyl acetate fraction of Tephrosia purpurea Linn. leaves(EATP) against ***: Gout in experimental rats was induced with potassium oxonate at the dose of 250 mg/kg(intraperitoneal injection) for 7 consecutive days;EATP was administered 1 h after administration of the potassium oxonate on each day of experiment. Potassium oxonate was discontinued on the 8 th day;thereafter allopurinol(10 mg/kg, p.o.) and EATP(200 and 400 mg/kg, p.o.) were continued until day 14. The uric acid level was measured from serum and urine during the experiment. Other biochemical parameters were assessed, including blood and urine creatinine, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, and total protein. Blood urea nitrogen, serum aspartate aminotransferase serum alanine aminotransferase and alkaline phosphatase were also measured. The blood was analyzed for levels of malondialdehyde and the antioxidant enzymes such as superoxide dismutase, catalase and glutathione *** and radiological changes in the ankle of rats were observed after completion of the ***: EATP was able to decrease serum uric acid and creatinine level;it also reduced inflammation,oxidative stress and lysosomal enzyme level, which has a role in acute inflammation. EATP increased uric acid excretion through urine due to its uricosuric ***: EATP lowered the serum uric acid level and increased the urine uric acid level through excretion, which is useful in the treatment of gout. Hence the EATP was found to be helpful in the treatment of gout.

Hybrid Optimization Algorithm for Resource Allocation in LTE-Based D2D Communication

In a cellular network,direct Device-to-Device(D2D)communication enhances Quality of service(Qos)in terms of coverage,throughput and amount of power *** theD2D pairs involve cellular resources for communication,the chances of interference are high.D2D communications demand minimum interference along with maximum throughput and sum rate which can be achieved by employing optimal resources and efficient power allocation *** this research,a hybrid optimization model called Genetic Algorithm-Adaptive Bat Optimization(GA-ABO)algorithm is proposed for efficient resource allocation in a cellular network with D2D *** analysis demonstrates that the proposed model involves reduced interference with maximum sum rate and *** performance of the proposed model is compared with the existing Ant Colony Optimization-based resource exchange and GAME(ACO-GAME)theory models,Trader-assistedResource EXchange mechanism-RadioAccess Network(TREX-RAN)and De-centralized Radio Access Network(TREXDRAN),and greedy CYcle-Complete preferences(CYC)*** proposed model offers a maximum sum rate of 83 kB/s,which is much better than the existing techniques.

Hesperetin conjugated PEGylated gold nanoparticles exploring the potential role in anti-inflammation and anti-proliferation during diethylnitrosamine-induced hepatocarcinogenesis in rats

Liver cancer is the fifth most common cancer and one of the leading causes of death in the world, and second most common cause of death in men. Natural products emerge as the most enduring approaches in the development of anticancer targeting drug. Hesperetin(HP), one of the abundant flavonoids found naturally in citrus fruits, has received considerable attention in anti-cancer promotion and progression. The present study was conducted to decipher the role of 0.5 ml hesperetin conjugated gold nanoparticles(Au-m PEG(5000)-s-HP NPs) during diethylnitrosamine(DEN)-induced hepatocarcinogenesis in male Wistar albino rats and shows the better antioxidant that possesses anti-inflammatory,anti-proliferation and anticarcinogenic properties and may modulate signaling *** confirmation of polymer functionalized gold nanoparticles and drug loaded polymer gold nanoparticles were characterized by HR-TEM with EDAX, and DLs with Zeta potential techniques. The drug encapsulation efficiency and release properties were carried out in PBs at pH 7.4 for Au-mPEG(5000)-s-HP and compared with the control pure hesperetin(HP).Here, we review the role of mast cell counts, tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α), transcription factor nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB), levels of glycoconjugates, proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA) and argyrophilic nucleolar organizing regions, are the master regulator of inflammation and proliferation, in the development of hepatocellular injury, liver fibrosis and HCC. DEN-administered animals showed increased mast cell counts, tumor necrosis factor alpha, transcription factor nuclear factor-κB, glycoconjugates, proliferating cell nuclear antigen, and argyrophilic nucleolar organizing regions. Whereas Au-mPEG(5000)-s-HP NPs supplementation considerably suppressed all the above abnormalities. study of Heavy Quarkonium with Energy Dependent Potential

Heavy quark systems (c and b ) have been studied in the nonrelativistic framework using energy dependent interquark potential of the form harmonic oscillator with a small linear term as energy dependent as perturbation plus a inverse square potential. This potential admits exact analytical solution of the schrodinger equation. Mass spectra, leptonic decay width, root mean square radii (), the expectation value of the radius (r) and have been estimated for different quantum mechanical states for and systems. It is observed that energy dependent term in the potential leads to saturation of the mass spectra and degree of saturation is governed by the magnitude of perturbation. The calculated values of leptonic decay widths for 1s state are in very good agreement with the experimental data both for c and b systems.
