Evaluation of the intervention of home-based pulmonary rehabilitation in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

High-quality Fe-doped Zn S films have been fabricated by electron beam *** the doping,the fabricated films still maintain the preferential crystalline orientation and phase purity of the host Zn *** to the observation of surface morphology,the root mean-square roughness of the samples increases slightly with the increase of doping *** of the prepared samples are in cubic zinc blende structure of Zn *** spectrum confirms a more obvious dip near 3μm with higher dopant concentration and it can be attributed to the typical^(5)E→^(5)T_(2)transition of Fe^(2+).Fe-doped Zn S film is also successfully used for Q-switched Er:ZBLAN fiber laser.

【目的】本研究旨在研究亚致死浓度四氯虫酰胺对胡瓜新小绥螨Neoseiulus cucumeris(Oudemans)捕食作用的影响,进而评价其对天敌捕食螨的安全性。【方法】在实验室内条件下,采用叶片残毒法和二次中毒法进行四氯虫酰胺对胡瓜新小绥螨雌成螨的毒力测定,并测定亚致死剂量(LC_(15)、LC_(30))的四氯虫酰胺对胡瓜新小绥螨雌成螨取食柑橘始叶螨Eotetranychus kankitus(Ehara)的捕食量、捕食功能反应及捕食速率的影响。【结果】叶片残毒法和二次中毒法测定四氯虫酰胺对胡瓜新小绥螨的LC_(50)分别为400.29和3.86×10^(5)μg/m L。亚致死剂量的四氯虫酰胺处理下胡瓜新小绥螨对柑橘始叶螨各个螨态的功能反应类型均为Holling-Ⅱ,但其参数发生改变,其对叶螨的最大日捕食量降低,处理猎物的时间延长。此外,在亚致死剂量四氯虫酰胺胁迫下,胡瓜新小绥螨对柑橘始叶螨的捕食量和捕食速率均降低。【结论】四氯虫酰胺对胡瓜新小绥螨存在副作用,影响捕食螨的控害能力,与捕食螨联合使用时应间隔一定的安全期后再释放天敌捕食螨。

Randomized clinical trial on seven-day-per-week continuous accelerated irradiation for patients with esophageal carcinoma: preliminary report on tumor response and acute toxicity

AIM: Tumor response and normal tissue toxicity of seven-day-per-week continuous accelerated irradiation (CAIR) for patients with esophageal carcinoma were evaluated and compared to conventional irradiation (CR). METHODS: Sixty patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus were randomized into two groups: the CAIR group (30 patients) and the CR group (30 pa- tients). Patients in the CAIR group received radiotherapy (RT) with 2 Gy/fraction per day at 7 d/wk with a total dose of 50-70 Gy (average dose 64.2 Gy). The overall time of irradiation was 3.6-5.0 wk (average 4.6 wk). RT in the CR group was 2 Gy/fraction per day at 5 d/wk with a total dose of 40-70 Gy (average dose 61.7 Gy). The overall time of irradiation was 4.0-7.0 wk (average 6.4 wk). RESULTS: The data showed that the immediate tumor response to RT was better in the CAIR group than in the CR group. Efficiency rates (CR plus pr) were 82.8% (24/29) and 58.6% (17/29), respectively (P = 0.047). In both groups the incidences of esophagitis and tracheitis were insignificant (P = 0.376, 0.959), and no patient re- ceived toxicity that could not be tolerated. CONCLUSION: CAIR shortens overall treatment time and is well tolerated by patients. It may be superior to CR in enhancing the local response of tumor, but its remote effect for esophageal carcinoma awaits further follow-up.

No studies have systematically compared time-resolved and multi-tissue innate immune responses for European eels(Anguilla anguilla)with Aeromonas hydrophila infection by a high throughput ***,we challenged European eels with ***(infected)or PBS(control).A low fatality rate(16.1%)was observed for the infected group at 2 d post-infection(dpi).Then we examined transcriptional profiles of intestines,livers and spleens from 12 European eels with/without infection by *** at 6,18 and 36 h post-infection(hpi).The results showed that the most differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were found in the spleen at 6 hpi(7569 DEGs),followed by the intestine at 6 hpi(3129 DEGs)and the liver at 18 hpi(2722 DEGs).Only 540,41 and 130 DEGs were found in the spleen,liver,and intestine at 36 hpi,*** comparison of DEG numbers and enriched KEGG pathways suggested a consistent time-course immune response in these tissues.A similar enrichment of pattern recognition receptors-related pathways including Toll-like receptors,NOD-like receptors and RIG-I-like receptors was found in the liver and spleen,but not in the *** immune-related DEGs,62 paralogue pairs were found,and the expression trends of most paralogues were *** paralogues of immune-related DEGs had unique ***,large clusters representing similar tissue were shown for the intestine and spleen.A different co-expression network involved in cytokine signal transduction and interaction existed between the liver and *** study has provided time-resolved and multi-tissue transcriptome characteristics of *** in response to *** infection.

本研究对小粒咖啡‘波邦’叶绿体基因组进行系统分析,探讨影响密码子使用偏性形成的因素。结果表明,‘波邦’叶绿体基因组密码子偏好性较弱,倾向于A/T结尾的密码子。ENC-GC3s绘图、pr2绘图以及中性绘图分析表明,‘波邦’密码子偏好性受突变影响的同时,也受自然选择等因素的影响,但自然选择起到更大的作用。进一步对应分析发现,基因表达水平、基因长度、GC含量对‘波邦’密码子偏性也有影响。密码子使用频率结果表明,拟南芥、烟草和酿酒酵母可考虑作为‘波邦’基因的表达受体系统,其中,烟草与酿酒酵母更为理想。研究表明,在‘波邦’中发现了GCT、TGT、GAT等20个高频密码子,确定了GCA、GCT、TGT等21个最优密码子。

Tropical lotus(Nelumbo) is an important and unique ecological type of lotus *** the genetic relationship and diversity of the tropical lotus is necessary for its sustainable conservation and *** 42 EST-SSR(expressed sequence tag-simple sequence repeats) and 30 SRAP(sequence-related amplified polymorphism) markers,we assessed the genetic diversity and inferred the ancestry of representative tropical lotus from Thailand and *** total,164 and 41 polymorphic bands were detected in 69 accessions by 36 EST-SSR and seven SRAP makers,*** genetic diversity was revealed in Thai lotus than in Vietnamese lotus.A Neighbor-Joining tree of five main clusters was constructed using combined EST-SSR and SRAP *** Ⅰ included 17 accessions of Thai lotus;cluster Ⅱ contained three Thai accessions and 11 accessions from southern Vietnam;and cluster Ⅲ was constituted by 13 accessions of seed *** with the results from the NeighborJoining tree,the genetic structure analysis showed that the genetic background of most Thai and Vietnamese lotus was pure,as artificial breeding has been rare in both ***,these analyses indicate that Thai and Vietnamese lotus germplasms belong to two different gene pools or *** lotus accessions are genetically related to geographical distribution patterns in Thailand or *** findings showed that the origin or genetic relationships of some unidentified lotus sources can be evaluated by comparing morphological characteristics and the data of molecular *** addition,these findings provide reliable information for the targeted conservation of tropical lotus and parent selection in breeding novel cultivars of lotus.

The latent membrane protein(LMP1) encoded by EBV is expressed in the majority of EBV-associated human malignancies and has been suggested to be one of the major oncogenic factors in EBV-mediated *** the previous studies we experimentally demonstrated that the DNAzymes targeting LMP1 could specifically down-regulate the expression of LMP1,which led to an increased radiosensitivity both in cells and in a xenograft NPC model in *** this study we explored the molecular mechanisms underlying the radiosensitization caused by the down-regulation of LMP1 in nasopharyngeal *** clinical samples,there was a positive correlation between the LMP1 and ATM *** cell models,it was confirmed that LMP1 could up-regulate the ATM expression. Bioinformatic analysis of the ATM ptomoter region revealed three tentative binding sites for *** using a specific inhibitor of the NF-κB signaling and the dominant negative mutant of IkB,it was shown that the ATM expression in CNE1-LMP1 cells could be efficiently *** of the LMP1 expression by the DNAzyme led to attenuation of the NF-κB DNA binding *** further showed that the silence of the ATM expression by ATM-targeted siRNA could enhance the radiosensitivity in LMP-1 positive NPC ***,our results indicate that ATM expression can be regulated by LMP1 through the NF-kB pathways,which resulted in the change of radiosensitivity in NPCs.

Objective:Telomerase re-activation of cells is the important molecular events in the process of ***-LMP1 is considered as a functional tumor protein,which plays an important role in cell proliferation,differentiation,transformation and apoptosis through activation of a number of important signal transduction ***,we investigated the molecular mechanism of the EBV-LMP1 regulating hTERT and telomerase through the PI3K/Akt signal transduction ***:In the high LMP1 expression of CNE1-LMP1 and LMP1-negative CNE1 cells,we used DNAzyme targeting LMP1 to repress LMP1 expression and LY294002 specifically inhibit activation of *** blot analysis were used to evaluate Akt,IκB and NF-κB protein expression and detection of Akt and IκB phosphorylation level,kinase assay were applied to detect Akt kinase activity,reporter gene analysis were further applied to examine hTERT promoter activity,the TRAP experiments were used to analyze the telomerase activity. Results:We observed that the total Akt expression unchanged in CNE1-LMP1 cells compared with CNE1 cells,but the LMP1 expression can up-regulate the expression of p-Akt and increased Akt kinase activity, the DNAzyme targeting LMP1 could inhibit this effect;LMP1 expression is also able to increase the phosphorylation of IκB and the protein expression of NF-κB,and lead to increased hTERT promoter activity and telomerase activity,the DNAzyme targeting LMP1 inhibited this role was ***: The results showed that EBV-LMP1 mediated activation of NF-κB through PI3K/Akt signal pathway and LMP1 expression further increase the telomerase activity mediated by activated the hTERT promoter in LMP1 positive nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells.
