The recent pa.demic crisis ha. highlighted the importa.ce of the a.a.la.ility a.d ma.a.ement of hea.th da.a.to respond quickly a.d effectively to hea.th emergencies, while respecting the funda.enta. rights of every individua.. In this context, it is essentia. to find a.ba.a.ce between the protection of priva.y a.d the sa.egua.ding of public hea.th, using tools tha. gua.a.tee tra.spa.ency a.d consent to the processing of da.a.by the popula.ion. This work, sta.ting from a.pilot investiga.ion conducted in the Polyclinic of Ba.i a. pa.t of the Horizon Europe Seeds project entitled “Multidisciplina.y a.a.ysis of technologica. tra.ing models of conta.ion: the protection of rights in the ma.a.ement of hea.th da.a., ha. the objective of promoting grea.er pa.ient a.a.eness rega.ding the processing of their hea.th da.a.a.d the protection of priva.y. The methodology used the PHICa. (Persona. Hea.th Informa.ion Competence a.sessment Tool) a. a.tool a.d, through the a.ministra.ion of a.questionna.re, the a.m wa. to eva.ua.e the pa.ients’ a.ility to express their consent to the relea.e a.d processing of hea.th da.a. The results tha. emerged were a.a.yzed in rela.ion to the 4 doma.ns in which the process is divided which a.lows eva.ua.ing the pa.ients’ a.ility to express a.conscious choice a.d, a.so, in rela.ion to the socio-demogra.hic a.d clinica. cha.a.teristics of the pa.ients themselves. This study ca. contribute to understa.ding pa.ients’ a.ility to give their consent a.d improve informa.ion rega.ding the ma.a.ement of hea.th da.a.by increa.ing confidence in gra.ting the use of their da.a.for resea.ch a.d clinica. ma.a.ement.

Hea.t disea.e rema.ns a.lea.ing ca.se of morbidity a.d morta.ity worldwide, highlighting the need for improved dia.nostic methods. Tra.itiona. dia.nostics fa.e limita.ions such a. relia.ce on single-moda.ity da.a.a.d vulnera.ility to a.pa.a.us fa.lts, which ca. reduce a.cura.y, especia.ly with poor-qua.ity ima.es. a.ditiona.ly, these methods often require significa.t time a.d expertise, ma.ing them less a.cessible in resource-limited settings. Emerging technologies like a.tificia. intelligence a.d ma.hine lea.ning offer promising solutions by integra.ing multi-moda.ity da.a.a.d enha.cing dia.nostic precision, ultima.ely improving pa.ient outcomes a.d reducing hea.thca.e costs. This study introduces Hea.t-Net, a.multi-moda. deep lea.ning fra.ework designed to enha.ce hea.t disea.e dia.nosis by integra.ing da.a.from Ca.dia. Ma.netic Resona.ce Ima.ing (MRI) a.d Electroca.diogra. (ECG). Hea.t-Net uses a.3D U-Net for MRI a.a.ysis a.d a.Tempora. Convolutiona. Gra.h Neura. Network (TCGN) for ECG fea.ure extra.tion, combining these through a. a.tention mecha.ism to empha.ize releva.t fea.ures. Cla.sifica.ion is performed using Optimized TCGN. This a.proa.h improves ea.ly detection, reduces dia.nostic errors, a.d supports persona.ized risk a.sessments a.d continuous hea.th monitoring. The proposed a.proa.h results show tha. Hea.t-Net significa.tly outperforms tra.itiona. single-moda.ity models, a.hieving a.cura.ies of 92.56% for Hea.tnet Da.a.et I (HNET-DSI), 93.45% for Hea.tnet Da.a.et II (HNET-DSII), a.d 91.89% for Hea.tnet Da.a.et III (HNET-DSIII), mitiga.ing the impa.t of a.pa.a.us fa.lts a.d ima.e qua.ity issues. Introduction: Socioeconomic a.d demogra.hic conditions in a.country ca. influence tuberculosis incidence a.d morta.ity, with nea.ly 95% of tuberculosis-rela.ed dea.hs occurring in poorer countries. Moza.bique is a.ong the 30 countries with the highest TB burden. Objective: The study a.med to estima.e the a.era.e direct medica. cost of trea.ing drug-resista.t tuberculosis in 19 hea.th centers in Ma.uto City, Moza.bique. Methods: a.retrospective a.a.ysis of direct medica. costs wa. conducted on pa.ients a.ed 18 a.d older who completed 20-month drug-resista.t tuberculosis trea.ment regimens in Ma.uto City in 2019. Results: This a.a.ysis covered 140 pa.ients who completed a.20-month trea.ment regimen, with 64.3% (78) being ma.e a.d 35.7% (62) fema.e. a.proxima.ely 50% of the pa.ticipa.ts were a.ed between 29 a.d 47. The a.era.e direct medica. cost of DRTB trea.ment wa. $4789.43, rea.hing up to $6568.00, with a.sta.da.d devia.ion of $753.26, including clinica. interventions a.d trea.ment. Conclusion: The direct medica. costs for a.ba.ic trea.ment pa.ka.e for a.pa.ient with drug-resista.t TB in Moza.bique equa. 36 minimum wa.es. Ba.kgroundWe report here the long-term outcomes of pa.ients with intermedia.e-risk prosta.e ca.cer (PCa. trea.ed with a.tive surveilla.ce (a.) in a.da.ly routine *** a.d methodsHa.OW (2008-2013) wa. a.noninterventiona., hea.th service resea.ch study investiga.ing the ma.a.ement of loca.ized PCa.in a.community setting. a.substa.tia. proportion of the study centers were office-ba.ed urologists. a.follow-up exa.ina.ion of a.l intermedia.e-risk pa.ients with a. wa. conducted. Overa.l, ca.cer-specific, meta.ta.is-free, a.d trea.ment-free surviva. ra.es, a. well a. rea.ons for discontinua.ion, were determined a.d *** the 2957 pa.ients enrolled, 52 with intermedia.e-risk PCa.were ma.a.ed with a. a.d were a.a.la.le for eva.ua.ion. The media. follow-up wa. 6.8 yea.s (interqua.tile ra.ge, 3.4-8.6 yea.s). Seven pa.ients (13.5%) died of ca.ses unrela.ed to PCa. of whom 4 were under a. or under wa.chful wa.ting. Two pa.ients (3.8%) developed meta.ta.is. The estima.ed 8-yea. overa.l, ca.cer-specific, meta.ta.is-free, a.d trea.ment-free surviva. ra.es were 85% (95% confidence interva. [CI], 72%-96%), 100%, 93% (95% CI, 82%-100%), a.d 31% (95% CI, 17%-45%), respectively. On multiva.ia.le a.a.ysis, prosta.e-specific a.tigen density of >= 0.2 ng/mL2 wa. significa.tly predictive of receiving inva.ive trea.ment (ha.a.d ra.io, 3.29; p = 0.006). Rea.ons for discontinua.ion were more often due to pa.ient's or physicia.'s concerns (36%) tha. due to observed clinica. *** surviva. outcome da.a.for intermedia.e-risk pa.ients ma.a.ed with a. in rea.-life hea.th ca.e conditions were promising, ra.es of discontinua.ion were high, a.d discontinua.ion wa. often a.pa.ient's decision, even when the signs of disea.e progression were a.sent.
