Glycoside scutellarin enhanced CD-MOF anchoring for laryngeal delivery

It is essential to develop new carriers for laryngeal drug delivery in light of the lack of therapy in laryngeal related *** the inhalable micron-sized crystals ofγ-cyclodextrin metal-organic framework(CD-MOF)was utilized as dry powder inhalers(DPIs)carrier with high fine particle fraction(FPF),it was found in this research that the encapsulation of a glycoside compound,namely,scutellarin(SCU)in CD-MOF could significantly enhance its laryngeal ***,SCU loading into CD-MOF was optimized by ***,a series of characterizations were carried out to elucidate the mechanisms of drug ***,the laryngeal deposition rate of CD-MOF was 57.72±2.19%improved by SCU,about two times higher than that of CD-MOF,when it was determined by Next Generation Impactor(NGI)at 65 L/*** a proof of concept,pharyngolaryngitis therapeutic agent dexamethasone(DEX)had improved laryngeal deposition after being co-encapsulated with SCU in *** molecular simulation demonstrated the configuration of SCU in CD-MOF and its contribution to the free energy of the SCU@CD-MOF,which defined the enhanced laryngeal *** conclusion,the glycosides-like SCU could effectively enhance the anchoring of CD-MOF particles to the larynx to facilitate the treatment of laryngeal diseases.

High Accurate Fourth-Order Finite Difference Solutions of the Three Dimensional Poisson’s Equation in Cylindrical Coordinate

In this work, by extending the method of Hockney into three dimensions, the Poisson’s equation in cylindrical coordinates system with the Dirichlet’s boundary conditions in a portion of a cylinder for is solved directly. The Poisson equation is approximated by fourth-order finite differences and the resulting large algebraic system of linear equations is treated systematically in order to get a block tri-diagonal system. The accuracy of this method is tested for some Poisson’s equations with known analytical solutions and the numerical results obtained show that the method produces accurate results.

以关节型机械臂避开垂直茎秆或撑杆采摘番茄为研究对象,提出了一种基于构形空间的关节型机械臂避障路径规划方法。利用空间映射原理,将关节型机械臂工作空间的三维避障问题转换为平面R-R机械臂避开障碍圆的问题,用临界碰撞关节角建立C-障碍空间的映射计算模型,将工作空间的位置避障转换为构形空间连杆关节角的计算。以能量最优函数优选避障规划的关节终点角度,利用A*算法计算平面R-R机械臂的避障关节角路径,获得一系列表示空间连杆位置的相交竖直面,并在竖直面内进行其余关节角的规划。避障采摘番茄的试验表明,机械臂带动夹持器能成功绕过直线状障碍物,引导夹持器到达果实目标位置,证明对平面R-R机械臂的空间映射建模是正确的,验证了提出的避障路径规划方法是可行的,可以应用于番茄的自动收获。

An Efficient Direct Method to Solve the Three Dimensional Poisson’s Equation

In this work, the three dimensional Poisson’s equation in Cartesian coordinates with the Dirichlet’s boundary conditions in a cube is solved directly, by extending the method of Hockney. The Poisson equation is approximated by 19-points and 27-points fourth order finite difference approximation schemes and the resulting large algebraic system of linear equations is treated systematically in order to get a block tri-diagonal system. The efficiency of this method is tested for some Poisson’s equations with known analytical solutions and the numerical results obtained show that the method produces accurate results. It is shown that 19-point formula produces comparable results with 27-point formula, though computational efforts are more in 27-point formula.

The fundamental advantages of carbon-based graphene material,such as its high tunnelling probability,symmetric band structure(linear dependence of the energy band on the wave direction),low effective mass,and characteristics of its 2D atomic layers,are the main focus of this research *** impact of channel thickness,gate under-lap,asymmetric source/drain doping method,workfunction of gate contact,and High-K material on Graphene-based Tunnel Field Effect Transistor(TFET)is analyzed with 20 nm *** modelling and electrical characteristic performance have been simulated using the Atlas device simulator of SILVACO TCAD with user-defined material syntax for the newly included graphene material in comparison to silicon carbide(SiC).The simulation results in significant suppression of ambipolar current to voltage characteristics of TFET and modelled device exhibits a significant improvement in subthreshold swing(0.0159 V/decade),the ratio of Ion/Ioff(1000),and threshold voltage(-0.2 V with highly doped p-type source and 0.2 V with highly doped n-type drain)with power supply of 0.5 V,which make it useful for low power digital applications.

Single Flap Otoendoscopic Myringoplasty for Large Central Perforation—A Pilot Study

Introduction: Otoendoscopic myringoplasty has been successfully used for repair of small to medium sized perforation using various materials. Very few studies have used this method for repair of large central perforation. Goals: To evaluate the transcanal otoendoscopic approach to reconstruct large central perforation by raising single flap. Methods Utilized: Pilot study on forty patients with chronic suppurative otitis media dry stage with large central perforation in medical college hospital and research centre was conducted. A zero degree 4 mm otoendoscope and custom made suction elevator was used for myringoplasty. Results: The perforation of thirty eight patients had healed by the end of two months. Conclusion: Otoendoscopic myringoplasty is effective in managing large central perforation and patients need to be observed for longer period to calculate the successful rate.

BOD Exertion and OD600 Measurements in Presence of Heavy Metal Ions Using Microbes from Dairy Wastewater as a Seed

BOD measurements in presence of cobalt, nickel, copper, zinc, silver and cadmium are reported using wastewater from dairy industry as a seed. Extent of inhibition in BOD is studied for variables like, concen-tration of metal ions (0.2 mM to 1.4 mM), pH (3 to 8) and temperature of incubation (15℃, 20℃, 25℃, 30℃ and 35℃). Results of BOD inhibition are supported by absorbance measurement (OD600) studies of microbial matter preserved in Luriya broth medium. OD measurement results are used to derive minimum inhibitory concentration, i.e., threshold concentration of each metal showing toxicity towards microbes. Sil-ver is found to be the most toxic element.

Indian National Strong Motion Instrumentation Network and Site Characterization of Its Stations

Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IITR) is operating a nationwide network of instruments for recording strong ground motion. Total 300 instruments are installed in seismic zone III, IV and V along Himalayan belt. Primary goal of this project is to acquire strong ground-motion (SGM) data for various studies in the field of earthquake engineering and seismology in general and in particular to understand propagation and site response characteristics of the sediments that underlie and are thought to produce large site amplification and seismic hazard. These data will complement laboratory data to characterize the properties of the soft soils underlying residential area so that engineers and architects can design appropriate earthquake-resistant structures for the region. The successful working of this network has laid the foundation of Earthquake Early Warning System (EEW) in India. A great number of strong motion records have been obtained and utilized to study local site and geological effects. The paper introduces outline of the IITR strong motion network and some of its recent studies.

背景:制剂研究在药物研发中具有极大的潜力和重要的意义,它在一定程度上可以提高药物的递送效率,提高生物利用度。肺部给药的方式可以将药物直接递送到肺部,产生局部和全身性的治疗效果。本研究将延胡索乙素（THP）载入到环糊精金属有机骨架（CD-MOF）中,采用吸入用乳糖作为基础辅料,制备了延胡索乙素干粉吸入制剂（THP-DPI）,实现了该药物的高效递送。一直以来,口服制剂都存在着口服生物利用度低的问题。因此,开发新型制剂实现最大程度的药物吸收始终是研究的重点和难点。本研究选用了延胡索乙素作为模型药物,它存在口服利用率低,但在肺部活性好的特点。肺部比表面积大,可以更有效地进行药物吸收,所以人们十分迫切想要开发更新更好地给药策略。为了提高口服生物利用度,有很多研究分别采用制成纳米悬浮乳、药物自乳化等方式。干粉吸入剂（DPI）是在粉体工程的基础上发展起来的一种新型被动呼吸性肺给药方式,因是固体制剂,具有制剂室温稳定性好、吸入效率高等优点。本研究用乳糖作为辅料,与THP-CD-MOF颗粒混合,制作THP-DPI。并评价了THP-DPI的理化性质、流动性和体外肺沉积行为。在颗粒水平上,探讨了THP-CD-MOF与乳糖相互作用的机理,为THP-DPI的肺部给药提供了指导。方法:采用反溶剂法制备γ-CD-MOF,并以制备的γ-CD-MOF为载体负载THP。载药条件考察包括:药物与载体的比例、温度、搅拌速度和时间。将不同规格的乳糖与载药CD-MOFs混合,并对其混合比例进行考察。结果:建立THP的高效液相色谱法和紫外分光光度法的含量测定方法。依据THP的溶解度,实验采用丙酮为溶剂进行载药。最优的载药条件如下:THP:CDMOF（摩尔比）为10:1,温度是25℃,搅拌速度是400 rpm,时间是2 h。从粉末X射线衍射（PXRD）和热重分析（TGA）可以看出,即使在药物作用下,制备的粉体仍然存在一定的结晶性,TGA热图显示粉体是热稳定的。SEM显示载药CD-MOFs为立方体,粒径小于5μm。从体外药物释放图谱结果可以看出,原料的药物概况与加载的CD-MOF药物不同。在THP-MOF加载配方中观察到的快速药物释放,与原始THP的缓慢释放速率形成对比。在THP-MOF的情况下,超过50%的药物在两小时内释放,而使用原始THP时仅释放30%的药物。THP-CD-MOF的细颗粒分数（FPF）为25%。粉末的排空率接近100%,MMAD为3 um。对乳糖与粉体的最佳混合条件为:搅拌速度40 rpm/min,搅拌15 min。采用不同规格乳糖（ML001、ML003、SV003、SV010）与THP-CD-MOFs进行混合。并对含量均匀性进行检测。结果显示:所有粉末的RSD%均小于5%。PXRD和TGA的结果证实了所有粉末的高结晶性。热重分析结果表明,CD-MOF对THP有保护作用。不同配方的MMAD值分别为:THP-MOF:3.0±0.02μm,ML001-THP-MOF:2.8±0.15μm,ML003-THP-MOF:3.1±0.21μm,SV003-THP-MOF:3.3±0.18μm,SV010-THP-MOF:3.5±0.12μm。GSD小于2,说明配方的DPI粉体适合吸入。从流动性、均匀性、形态、热稳定性和结晶性等方面分析,得出结论:SV010-THP-MOF可显著改善体外THP的肺沉积,且粉末流动性高。本文在颗粒水平上,探讨颗粒与乳糖相互作用的机制,为THP-DPI的肺内给药提供指导,为靶向或位点特异性药物输送应用于肺部开辟新的方向。将THP与CD-MOF新载体联合使用,可解决口服药物生物利用度低的问题。利用金属-有机骨架为载体,可以获得用于吸入的THP负载的CD-MOF颗粒。此外,将THP-CD-MOF颗粒与乳糖混合,将微粉颗粒输送到肺部,使其快速起效。重要的是,本文研究获得了THP用于全身和肺部给药的干粉吸入新型制剂。
