Th. effec. of annual additions of c.mposted sewage sludge (c.) and th.rmally dried sewage sludge (TS) at 80 t h.-1 on soil c.emic.l properties was investigated for th.ee years in a field experiment under semiarid c.nditions. h.mic.ac.ds (h.s) isolated by c.nventional proc.dures from c., TS, and unamended (SO) and sludge amended soils were analysed for elemental (c. h. N, S and O) and ac.dic.func.ional groups (c.rboxylic.and ph.nolic. and by ultraviolet-visible, Fourier transform infrared and fluoresc.nc. spec.rosc.pies. With.respec. to c., TS h.d similar ph.and total P and K c.ntents, larger dry matter, total organic.c. total N and c.N ratio and smaller ash.c.ntent and elec.ric.l c.nduc.ivity. Amendment with.both.c. and TS induc.d a number of modific.tions in soil properties, inc.uding an inc.ease of ph. elec.ric.l c.nduc.ivity, total organic.c. total N, and available P. Th. c.-h. h.d greater O, total ac.dity, c.rboxyl, and ph.nolic.Oh.group c.ntents and smaller c.and h.c.ntents th.n TS-h.. Th. c.-h. and TS-h. h.d larger N and S c.ntents, smaller c. O and ac.dic.func.ional group c.ntents, and lower aromatic.polyc.ndensation and h.mific.tion degrees th.n SO-h.. Amended soil-h.s sh.wed c. h. N and S c.ntents larger th.n SO-h., suggesting th.t sludge h.s were partially inc.rporated into soil h.s. Th.se effec.s were more evident with.inc.easing number of sludge applic.tions.

In th.s study a series of trivalent lanth.num c.mplexes with.4-（R）-c.nnamate （4-Rc.nn, R=h.1）, MeO（2）, c.（3）） and 4-meth.xyph.nylac.tate ligands （4） were prepared and th.ir antifungal ac.ivity against c.ndida albic.ns, Aspergillus niger and Tric.oph.ton mentagroph.tes were examined. c.mpounds 1-4 were synth.sized by a metath.sis reac.ion and fully c.arac.erized by elemental analysis, IR, 1h.and 13c.NMR spec.rosc.py, fluoresc.nc. spec.ra, th.rmogravimetry （TG）, derivative th.rmogravimetry （DTG）, differential sc.nning c.lorimetry （DSc. and X-ray diffrac.ion powder patterns. In emission studies, it was observed th.t lu-minesc.nc. intensity was enh.nc.d in th. presenc. of lanth.nide ion. Th. results of X-ray diffrac.ion patterns indic.ted th.t all c.m-plexes studied exh.bited c.ystalline struc.ure. Th.rmal beh.vior by TG, DTG, and DSc.studies permitted to estimating th. h.dration degree of th. c.mpounds and sh.wed th. formation of dec.mposition produc.s like lanth.num oxide. Determined by antifungal stud-ies, lanth.num c.mplexes 1-4 demonstrated antifungal ac.ivity toward all path.genic.fungal strains tested. c.mpounds 2 and 4 sh.wed signific.nt growth.inh.bition for A. niger and c. albic.ns, respec.ively.

In th.s paper, a reac.ive dynamic.user equilibrium model is extended to simulate two groups of pedestrians traveling on c.ossing path. in a c.ntinuous walking fac.lity. Eac. group makes path.c.oic.s to minimize th. travel c.st to its destination in a reac.ive manner based on instantaneous information. Th. model c.nsists of a c.nservation law equation c.upled with.an Eikonal-type equation for eac. group. Th. veloc.ty-density relationsh.p of pedestrian movement is obtained via an experimental meth.d. Th. model is solved using a finite volume meth.d for th. c.nservation law equation and a fast-marc.ing meth.d for th. Eikonal-type equation on unstruc.ured grids. Th. numeric.l results verify th. rationality of th. model and th. validity of th. numeric.l meth.d. Based on th.s c.ntinuum model, a number of results, e.g., th. formation of strips or moving c.usters c.mposed of pedestrians walking to th. same destination, are also observed.

Bac.ground Eryth.ma nodosum c.n be assoc.ated with.a number of systemic.diseases. Th.re is, h.wever, a pauc.ty of information in th. pediatric.literature on th.s c.ndition. Th. purpose of th.s artic.e is to familiarize pediatric.ans with.th. evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of eryth.ma nodosum. Data sourc.s A PubMed searc. was c.mpleted in c.inic.l Queries using th. key terms 'eryth.ma nodosum'. Results c.inic.lly, eryth.ma nodosum presents with.a sudden onset of painful, eryth.matous, subc.taneous nodules mainly loc.lized to th. pretibial areas. Lesions are usually bilateral and symmetric.l, ranging from 1 to 5 c. in diameter. Eryth.ma nodosum may be assoc.ated with.a variety of c.nditions suc. as infec.ion, medic.tions, sarc.idosis, pregnanc., inflamma-tory bowel disease, vac.ination, autoimmune disease, malignanc., and misc.llaneous c.uses. Th. c.ndition is idiopath.c.in approximately 50% of c.ses. Th. diagnosis is mainly c.inic.l with.biopsy reserved for atypic.l c.ses. To evaluate for th. underlying c.use, some basic.laboratory sc.eening studies are worth.h.le in most c.ses and inc.ude a c.mplete blood c.ll c.unt, eryth.oc.te sedimentation rate and/or c.reac.ive protein, th.oat swab c.lture, antistreptoc.c.al O titers, and a c.est radiograph. Oth.r tests sh.uld be individualized, guided by th. h.story and ph.sic.l examination results. Most c.ses of ery-th.ma nodosum are self-limited and require no treatment. Bed rest and leg elevation are generally rec.mmended to reduc. th. disc.mfort. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are th. first-line treatment for pain management. c.nc.usions As eryth.ma nodosum is often a c.taneous manifestation of a systemic.disease, a th.rough.searc. sh.uld be performed to reveal th. underlying c.use.
