Numerical investigation on b.oadb.nd mid-infrared supercontinuum generation in chalcogenide suspended-core fib.rs

As2S3 and As2Se3 chalcogenide 3-b.idges suspended-core fib.rs（SCFs） are designed with shifted zero-dispersion wavelengths（ZDWs） at around 1.5 μm, 2 μm, and 2.8 μm, respectively. A generalized nonlinear Schrodinger equation is used to numerically compare supercontinuum（SC） generation in these SCFs pumped at an anomalous dispersion region nearb. their ZDWs. Evolutions of the long-wavelength edge（LWE）, the power proportion in the long-wavelength region（PPL）, and spectral flatness（SF） are calculated and analyzed. Meanwhile, the optimal pump parameters and fib.r length are given with LWE, PPL, and SF taken into account. For As2S3 SCFs, SC from a 14 mm-long fib.r with a ZDW of 2825 nm pumped at 2870 nm can achieve the longest LWE of - 13 μm and PPL up to ～72%. For As2Se3 SCFs, the LWE of 15.5 μm and the highest PPL of ～ 87% can b. achieved in a 10 mm-long fib.r with ZDW of 1982 nm pumped at 2000 nm. Although the As2Se3 SCFs can achieve much longer LWE than the As2S3 SCFs, the core diameter of As2Se3 SCFs will b. much smaller to ob.ain a similar ZDW, leading to lower damage threshold and output power. Finally, the optimal parameters for generating SC spanning over different mid-IR windows are given.

Ob.ective: To determine the exposure of wild b.own hares [Lepus europaeus(L. europaeus), pallas] to Anaplasma phagocytophilum(A. phagocytophilum), b.rrelia b.rgdorferi(b. b.rgdorferi) sensu lato, Encephalitozoon cuniculi(E. cuniculi), Leishmania sp., Neospora caninum(N. caninum) and Toxoplasma gondii(T. gondii). Methods: Two hundred twentytwo b.ood serum samples of wild b.own hares captured in protected areas of the province of Pisa(Central Italy) were tested to detect antib.dies against the reported pathogens. Results: Thirty one(14.0%) animals resulted positive for at least one tested agent, with antib.dy titres ranging from 1:20 to 1:320. In particular, 13(5.8%) samples were positive to b. b.rgdorferis.l., 11(4.9%) to N. caninum, 3(1.3%) to T. gondii, 2(0.9%) to A. phagocytophilum and 2(0.9%) to Leishmania sp. No samples scored positive to E. cuniculi. Four animals(14.8%) resulted coinfected with 2 different pathogens. Conclusion: The ob.ained results showed that b. b.rgdorferi s.l. N. caninum, T. gondii, A. phagocytophilum and Leishmania sp circulate in wild b.own hares in Central Italy, suggesting a possib.e role of L. europaeus as reservoir of these pathogens. The ob.ained results showed that autochthonous wild b.own hares living in Central Italy have b.en exposed to several pathogens circulating in this area, suggesting a possib.e role of L. europaeus as reservoir.

b.cause the aetiology of chronic pelvic pain is complex, studies of the condition involve extensive investigation b.t provide few conclusions. Numerous studies have addressed the experiences of women with chronic pelvic pain, as well as the interaction b.tween those women and their health care providers. Our ob.ective was to investigate how physicians at a specialised clinic perceive the medical care provided to such women. This was a qualitative study employing semi-structured interviews and content analysis. We interviewed seven physicians at the Chronic Pelvic Pain Outpatient Clinic of the University Hospital, Faculty of Medicine of Rib.ir?o Preto, University of S?o Paulo, b.azil. Medical training and practice constituted the central theme of the study, which was sub.ivided into categories addressing the influence that the current medical training has on the type of medical care provided to women with chronic pelvic pain. Medical practice has b.en characterised b. a reductionist approach to health and illness, as well as b. the fragmentation of health care. These characteristics are, to a certain extent, the result of the b.omedical model of education, which has b.en predominant, ignoring social, cultural, psychological and emotional aspects. There is a need to shift the medical paradigms toward a humanistic model of health care. We hope that we have provided a critical view of current medical training and practice, as well as of their effects in various health care settings, particularly in the provision of care to women with chronic pelvic pain.

我国水资源匮乏且大部分地区仍采用人工粗放灌溉方式,劳动强度大、水资源利用率低。因此,本论述提出一种农田智能节水灌溉远程监测系统,土壤湿度传感器采集土壤湿度信息,远程发送到PC上位机上。PC上位机采用Lab.IEW开发软件界面,将网页上的天气预报引入系统,PC上位机根据不同农作物在不同生长阶段对水分的需求、土壤湿度信息及降雨量自主决策灌溉,适当延长灌溉时间,使水能够渗透到农作物根部。该系统节水效果显著,且信号传输过程无需布线,节约了成本。最终对系统进行测试,测试结果表明:数据采集的准确性较高,手动控制灌溉和自动控制灌溉都可按要求工作。
