The high-temperature oxidation resistance of.the nick.l superalloy grown by the Laser Powder Bed f.sion (LPBf. has been signif.cantly increased as a result of.in-situ f.rmation of.a thermal barrier layer (α-Al2O3+ CaMoO4) during oxidative annealing of.surf.ce layers modif.ed by electric spark.treatment (EST). The reactive EST of.the LPBf.built items based on nick.l EP741NP alloy was carried out with low-melting Al-12%Si， Al-6%Ca-0.6%Si and Al-7%Ca-1%Mn electrodes. It was f.und that at EST done by Al-7%Ca-1%Mn electrode an intermetallic (β-NiAl + γ’-Ni3Al) 15 microns thick.layer reinf.rced by spherical oxide (CaMe)O nanoparticles was f.rmed. f.rmation of.that structure increases the wear resistance of.LPBf.nick.l superalloy by 4.5 times. f.rther oxidative annealing at 1000 °C lead to a f.rmation of.continuous two-layered coating with an inner layer of.α-Al2O3and an outer layer of.CaMoO4， which together act as an ef.ective barrier preventing the dif.usion of.oxygen into the volume of.the superalloy.

Among the records of.af.ershock.observation of.the 1991 Datong, China ML=5.8 earthquak., very similar wavef.rms f.om clusters of.small earthquak.s were f.und. Cross-correlation of.the wavef.rms of.each pair in the cluster conf.rmed the similarities. Re-sample technology is used to improve the sampling rate, which is helpf.l to distinguish the small variation of.shear wave splitting. The variation of.shear wave splitting could be f.und directly f.om seismograms of.each pair in a cluster.

Irrational irrigation practices in the Arys Turk.stan Canal command area in the southern part of.k.zak.stan have led to the f.rmation of.soils with poor physical and chemical properties. To study whether irrigation and leaching practices and/or groundwater rise have contributed to the accumulation of.Mg2+ on the cation exchange complex of.these soils, historical changes in soil and groundwater quality were used as source data and the Visual MINTEQ model was applied to analyze the chemical composition of.water and soils in the study area. The imposed irrigation regime and the leaching of.light sierosem soils led to the dissolution and subsequent leaching of.inherent gypsum and organic matter f.om the soil prof.le. f.rther, the domination of.bicarbonate in the irrigation water promoted weathering of.the carbonate minerals present as calcite. The higher concentrations of.Mg2+ in comparison to Ca2+ in the irrigation water resulted in the replacement of.Na+ by Mg2+ on the cation exchange complex. In the lower part of.the command area, shallow groundwater has contributed to the accumulation of.Na+ and to a large extent of.Mg2+ on the cation exchange sites.

We analyzed the relationship between internode number and intemode length f.r one of.the largest bamboo, Phyllostachys pubescens Mazel ex Houz. f.r 50 sample culms with various sizes f.lled in a pure stand of.P. pubescens, the intemode number was assigned f.om base to tip and the length f.r each internode was directly measured. The result indicated that the intemode length should be cumulated f.om base to tip, and then the cumulated internode length should be relativized by the total culm length. It was inappropriate to relativize the internode length by the maximum intenode length. In addition, the relationship between the relative internode number （the intemode number relativized by the total number of.intemodes） and the relative cumulated internode length should be described not by a power f.nction but by a sigmoid f.nction such as the third-order f.nction. The determined f.nction enabled us to estimate the actual internode length, with the root mean squared error being 4 cm. In conclusion, the mathematical expression presented here, i.e., the relativization of.the cumulated internode length by the total culm length and the application of.the sigmoid f.nction, will be usef.l in describing the relationship between internode number and internode length f.r P. pubescens.

Induction motor driven by vector control method mak.s high perf.rmance control of.torque and speed possible. The decoupling of.f.ux and electromag netic torque obtained by f.eld orientation depends on the precision and the accuracy of.the estimated states. Rotor asymmetries lead to perturbations of.air gap f.ux patterns in induction machines. These perturbations in f.ux compo nents af.ect the electromagnetic torque, as well as stator currents and voltages. This paper f.rst investigates the control of.the induction motor using an extended k.lman f.lter （Ek.0} f.r a direct f.eldoriented control. It then studies the brok.n rotor bars （BRBs） f.ult by the monitoring the rotor resistance. The hypothesis on which the detection is based is that the apparent rotor resistance of.the motor will increase when a rotor bar break.. The rotor resistance is estimated and value to detect BRBs f.ult. compared with its nominal The Ek.0}estimates the rotor f.ux, speed and rotor resistance on line by using only measurements of.the stator voltages and currents. Simula tion results show the ef.ectiveness of.the proposed method in the cases of.load torque perturbation and speed reversion.

The aim of.the present work.is to investigate the numerical modeling of.interf.cial crack. that may appear at the interf.ce between two isotropic elastic materials. The extended f.nite element method is employed to analyze brittle and bi-material interf.cial f.tigue crack.growth by computing the mixed mode stress intensity f.ctors(SIf.. Three dif.erent approaches are introduced to compute the SIf.. In the f.rst one, mixed mode SIf.is deduced f.om the computation of.the contour integral as per the classical J-integral method,whereas a displacement method is used to evaluate the SIf.by using either one or two displacement jumps located along the crack.path in the second and third approaches. The displacement jump method is rather classical f.r mono-materials,but has to our k.owledge not been used up to now f.r a bimaterial. Hence, use of.displacement jump f.r characterizing bi-material crack. constitutes the main contribution of.the present study. Several benchmark.tests including parametric studies are perf.rmed to show the ef.ectiveness of.these computational methodologies f.r SIf.considering static and f.tigue problems of.bi-material structures. It is f.und that results based on the displacement jump methods are in a very good agreement with those of.exact solutions, such as f.r the J-integral method, but with a larger domain of.applicability and a better numerical ef.iciency(less time consuming and less spurious boundary ef.ect).

Recent studies have delineated the epigenetic landscape across the developmental trajectory of.SSCs,highlighting the involvement of.Ptip in regulating SSC *** sk.letal system undergoes dynamic remodeling throughout lif.. Sk.letal stem cells (SSCs), residing within the sk.leton and lineage-restricted, serve as a cellular reserve to f.ster development and maintain sk.letal homeostasis. Historically categorized within the broader mesenchymal stromal/stem cells (MSCs), SSCs have been dif.erentiated due to MSCs’ recognized heterogeneity, which has generated inconsistencies and controversies in the f.eld [1].
