Recently, Fischer-Tropsch synthesis （FTS） has become an interesting technology because of its potential role in producing biofuels via Biomass- to-Liquids （BTL） processes. In Fischer-Tropsch （FT） section, biomass-derived syngas, mainly composed of a mixture of carbon monoxide （CO） and hydrogen （H2）, is converted into various forms of hydrocarbon products over a catalyst at specified temperature and pressure. Fixed-bed reactors are typically used for these processes as conventional FT reactors. The fixed-bed or packed-bed type reactor has its drawbacks, which are heat transfer limitation, i.e. a hot spot problem involved highly exothermic characteristics of FT reaction, and mass transfer limitation due to the condensation of liquid hydrocarbon products occurred on catalyst surface. This work is initiated to develop a new chemical reactor design in which a better distribution of gaseous reactants and hydrocarbon products could be achieved, and led to higher throughput and conversion. The main goal of the research is the enhancement of a fixed-bed reactor, focusing on the application of KenicsTM static mixer insertion in the tubular packed-bed reactor. Two FTS experiments were carried out using two reactors i.e., with and without static mixer insertion within catalytic beds. The modeled syngas used was a mixed gas composed of H2/CO in 2 ： 1 molar ratio that was fed at the rate of 30 mL（STP）·min^- 1 （GHSV ≈ 136 mL·gcat^-1 ·h^-1） into the fixed Ru supported aluminum catalyst bed of weight 13.3 g. The reaction was carried out at 180 ℃ and atmospheric pressure continuously for 36 h for both experiments. Both transient and steady-state conversions （in terms of time on stream） were reported. The results revealed that the steady-state CO conversion for the case using the static mixer was approximately 3.5 times higher than that of the case without static mixer. Non-operative management for abdominal solidorgan injuries: A literature review

The philosophy of abdominal injury management is currently changing from mandatory exploration to selective non-operative management (NOM). The patient with hemodynamic stability and absence of peritonitis should be managed non-operatively. NOM has an overall success rate of 80%—90%. It also can reduce the rate of non-therapeutic abdominal exploration, preserve organ function, and has been defined as the safest choice in experienced centers. However, NOM carries a risk of missed injury such as hollow organ injury, diaphragm injury, and delayed hemorrhage. Adjunct therapies such as angiography with embolization, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography with stenting, and percutaneous drainage could increase the chances of successful NOM. This article aims to describe the evolution of NOM and define its place in specific abdominal solid organ injury for the practitioner who faces this problem.

Robust Finite-time H_∞ Control of Linear Time-varying Delay Systems with Bounded Control via Riccati Equations

In this paper, we will present new results on robust finite-time H∞ control for linear time-varying systems with both time-varying delay and bounded control. Delay-dependent sufficient conditions for robust finite-time stabilization and H∞ control are first established to guarantee finite-time stability of the closed-loop system via solving Riccati differential equations. Applications to finite-time H∞ control to a class of linear autonomous time-delay systems with bounded control are also discussed in this *** examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Effects of Organic Peroxides on the Curing Behavior of EVA Encapsulant Resin

Compounds of poly(ethylene-co-vinyl acetate) (EVA with vinyl acetate content 33%) with three different organic per- oxides, namely, dialkyl peroxide, peroxyester peroxide, and peroxyketal peroxide, were prepared with a twin screws extruder and a two-roll mixing mill. The cure behavior of the EVA compounds was analyzed from rheographs, which were obtained by a moving die rheometer (MDR) at various curing temperatures between 150?C to 170?C. The effects of organic peroxides on cure behavior were examined. The dynamic curing obtained by the torque rheometer provided sufficient experimental data to show that dialkyl peroxide is not suitable because it has a high half-life temperature and its by-products can discolor the final product. Peroxyester peroxide is good for curing at temperatures in the range of 150?C to 160?C, which accomplished an ultimate cure within 5 to 8 minutes. Also, the peroxyketal peroxide has higher performance, which decreased the optimum cure time to 3 minutes. The thermal decomposition mechanism of organic peroxide was applied to explain how the cure behavior is affected by generated free radicals.

盐酸金霉素广泛应用于家畜和家禽，然而，金霉素的低溶解度限制了其应用。该试验以20 mg/kg单剂量灌服盐酸金霉素和超级金霉素，采集各时间节点的血浆样品并用UPLC/MS/MS检测其血药浓度，计算各种药动学参数，评估盐酸金霉素和超级盐酸金霉素在肉鸡体内的ADME(Absorption distribution metabolism excretion)过程。结果表明：单剂量给药后超级盐酸金霉素的峰浓度显著高于盐酸金霉素[(4.69±1.54)μg/mL vs (1.91±0.63)μg/mL)],表明超级盐酸金霉素的吸收速度快于盐酸金霉素。超级盐酸金霉素的药时曲线下面积(AUC)(Area under the concentration-time curve, AUC)也大于盐酸金霉素[(14.51±3.40) hr·μg·mL-1vs (6.28±2.69) hr·μg·mL-1]。表明超级盐酸金霉素到达全身血液循环的量多于盐酸金霉素，有利于提高金霉素的药效。以20 mg/kg剂量连续灌服盐酸金霉素和超级盐酸金霉素7 d后，检测肌肉和肝脏中盐酸金霉素和超级盐酸金霉素的残留量接近或低于检测限，远低于食用动物肌肉中盐酸金霉素的残留限量。因此，超级盐酸金霉素提高了盐酸金霉素的生物利用度，具有广阔的应用前景和推广价值。

Impact of flood depth on traffic volume in two different zones of the Bangkok road network was investigated using traffic data obtained from probe vehicle trajectories.A Macroscopic Fundamental Diagram(MFD)was utilized to compare traffic flow rates across two road network zones in the city for a variety of flood depths,namely 0-5 cm,5-10 cm,10-15 cm,15-30 cm,and more than 30 *** of empirical analysis over an observation period of one year as 2019 showed that flood depths had a strong correlation with the MFD parameters of free-flow speed,maximum flow,and traffic jam *** particular,road floods greatly reduced average maximum flow across the inner city road network in *** floods had a significant impact on traffic characteristics of urban road networks.
