This paper examines the relationships between natural resource dependence, public education investment, and human capital accumulation. It addresses why the “blessing” of abundant natural resources often turns into a “curse” in many countries and regions, focusing on the crowding-out effect of natural resources on human capital. According to our empirical analysis of provincial panel data from China, natural resource dependence is significantly and negatively correlated with human capital accumulation. The crowding-out effect of natural resources on human capital exists only in the central and western regions of China. Our introduction of an interaction term for natural resource dependence and public education investment underscores the possibility of investing in public education to reduce the crowding-out effect of natural resource dependence on human capital. The government should utilize the income of the natural resource sector to increase investment in education to enhance local human capital.

The installation of azoles via C–H/N–H cross-coupling is significantly underdeveloped,particularly in benzylic C–H azolation due to the requirement for external chemical oxidants and the challenge in controlling the site-and ***,a late-stage azolation of benzylic C‒H bonds enabled by electrooxidation is described,which proceeds in an undivided cell under mild,catalyst-and chemical-oxidant-free reaction *** strategy empowers the C‒H azolation on primary,secondary,and even challenging tertiary benzylic positions *** remarkable synthetic utility of our approach is highlighted by its easy scalability without overoxidation of products and ample scope with valuable functional *** approach can be directly used to install benzyl and azole motifs on highly functionalized drug molecules.

Composition and structure of coatings on Ti-6Al-4V alloy by micro-plasma oxidation in NaAlO2 solution

Compound ceramic coatings on Ti-6Al-4V alloy were prepared for different time by pulsed bi-polar micro-plasma oxidation (MPO) in NaAlO2 solution. The phase composition was studied by XRD. And the electrochemical impedance spectra (EIS) of the coatings were measured to study the structure of the coatings, combined with the surface morphology. Using the proper EIS interpreting software, the "equivalent circuit" of the coatings was established, and meanwhile fitting values of equivalent element were obtained. The results show that the coating is composed of Al2 TiO5, α-Al2O3 and rutile TiO2, of which Al2 TiO5 is the main crystalline. Increasing the MPO time, the contents of Al2TiO5, rutile TiO2 and α-Al2O3 in the surface of the coating increase. And the EIS analysis and the surface morphology of the coatings illustrates the double-layer structure of the coatings, and the outer layer is loosen and the inner layer is compact. With the increase of the oxidizing time, the surface coarse degree of the coatings and the porosity of the outer layer of the coating are increased while the compactness of the inner layer of the coating is improved.

CHARACTERISTIC MAGNETIC RESONANCE ENHANCEMENT PATTERN IN CEREBRAL SCHISTOSOMIASIS

Objective To describe the characteristic magnetic resonance imaging （MRI） appearance of cerebral schistosomiasis. Methods Twenty-five patients whose diagnosis of central nervous system （CNS） schistosomiasis had been pathologically （n = 8 ） and clinically （n = 17） confLrmed were randomly selected. MRI was performed on a Signal 1.5T MRI scanner before and after the intravenous administration of gadopentetate dimeghimine constrast medium. We reviewed the MRI studies obtained at the time of initial presentation, as well as follow-up studies obtained during and after medical treatment Results ImmunoLogicaL tests in L5 patients indicated schistosomiasis haematobium. Contrast-enhanced TL-weighted images in 22 cases showed central linear enhancement surrounded by multiple enhancing punctate nodules, which ap- peared “arborized”. Through operation and pathological examination, 8 cases had the granuloma formation of schistoso- mal eggs extensive surrounded by inflammation and venous congestion. And 17 cases were treated with praziquantel and corticosteroid therapy. And they were followed up for 2 months by taking MRI, which turned out to be complete resolution of the enhancing structure and edema. At follow-up, all the patients＇ initial symptoms also resolved. Conclnsion The specified MRI enhancement pattern of cerebral schistosomiasis is common in most cases of CNS schistosomiasis, so it should be taken account into the diagnosis of cerebral schistosomiasis.

Research on brain function after brachial plexus injury focuses on local cortical functional reorganization,and few studies have focused on brain networks after brachial plexus *** in brain networks may help understanding of brain plasticity at the global *** hypothesized that topology of the global cerebral resting-state functional network changes after unilateral brachial plexus ***,in this cross-sectional study,we recruited eight male patients with unilateral brachial plexus injury（right handedness,mean age of 27.9±5.4years old）and eight male healthy controls（right handedness,mean age of 28.6±3.2）.After acquiring and preprocessing resting-state magnetic resonance imaging data,the cerebrum was divided into 90 regions and Pearson’s correlation coefficient calculated between *** correlation matrices were then converted into a binary matrix with affixed sparsity values of 0.1–*** sparsity conditions,both groups satisfied this small-world *** clustering coefficient was markedly lower,while average shortest path remarkably higher in patients compared with healthy *** findings confirm that cerebral functional networks in patients still show smallworld characteristics,which are highly effective in information transmission in the brain,as well as normal ***,varied small-worldness suggests that capacity of information transmission and integration in different brain regions in brachial plexus injury patients is damaged.

AIM:To address the challenges of data labeling difficulties,data privacy,and necessary large amount of labeled data for deep learning methods in diabetic retinopathy(DR)identification,the aim of this study is to develop a source-free domain adaptation(SFDA)method for efficient and effective DR identification from unlabeled ***:A multi-SFDA method was proposed for DR *** method integrates multiple source models,which are trained from the same source domain,to generate synthetic pseudo labels for the unlabeled target ***,a softmax-consistence minimization term is utilized to minimize the intra-class distances between the source and target domains and maximize the inter-class *** is performed using three color fundus photograph datasets(APTOS2019,DDR,and EyePACS).RESULTS:The proposed model was evaluated and provided promising results with respectively 0.8917 and 0.9795 F1-scores on referable and normal/abnormal DR identification *** demonstrated effective DR identification through minimizing intra-class distances and maximizing inter-class distances between source and target ***:The multi-SFDA method provides an effective approach to overcome the challenges in DR *** method not only addresses difficulties in data labeling and privacy issues,but also reduces the need for large amounts of labeled data required by deep learning methods,making it a practical tool for early detection and preservation of vision in diabetic patients.

We consider a model of network formation as a stochastic game with random duration proposed initially in sun and Parilina(Autom Remote Control 82(6):1065–1082,2021).In the model,the leader first suggests a joint project to other players,i.e.,the network connecting ***,the players are allowed to form fresh links with each other updating the initially proposed *** stage payoff of any player is defined depending on the network *** are two types of randomness in the network formation process:(i)links may fail to be formed with different probabilities although players intend to establish them,(ii)the game process may terminate at any stage or transit to the next stage with a certain probability ***,a network is formed as a result of players’decisions and realization of random *** cooperative version of the stochastic game is *** particular,we examine the properties of subgame consistency as well as strong subgame consistency of the *** provide a payment mechanism or regularization of the core elements to sustain its subgame consistency and avoid the player’s deviations from the cooperative *** addition,the distribution procedure of the core elements is regularized in case there are negative payments to achieve only nonnegative payments to the players at any *** sufficient condition of a strongly subgame consistent core is also *** illustrate our theoretical results with a numerical example.
