The kinetics of free radical decay in the polymerization of MMA initiated by AIBN was studied by means of ESR spectroscopy. It was found that the curves of radical decay are strongly associated with the reaction temperature, the initiator concentration and the solvent. In the case of the radical polymerization carried out at high temperature or in solution, the radical concentration first reached a maximum, then declined monotonously with reaction time. It was also found that the greater the amount of initiator or the higher the temperature, the more rapidly the radicals decay. When the bulk polymerization was implemented at a relatively low temperature, the curves of radical decay became more complicated, i.e., the radical concentration rapidly rose to a maximum, then dropped to a minimum, finally increased again with reaction time. Taking into account the diffusion effect, a semi-empirical equation is suggested to describe the kinetics of propagating radical decay.

The 1,2,3-thiadiazole-carboxylate moiety was reported to be an important pharmacophore of plant *** this study,a series of novel plant activators based on thieno[2,3-d]-1,2,3-thiadiazole-6-carboxylate were designed and synthesized and their biological activity as plant activators was *** structures of the novel compounds were identifed by1H NMR,19F NMR and *** in vivo bioassay showed that these novel compounds had good effcacy against seven plant ***,compounds 1a and 1c were more potent than the commercialized plant activator *** no fungicidal activity was observed for the active compounds in the in vitro assay,which matched the requirements as plant activators.

The Lamiaceae family is renowned for its terpenoid-based medicinal components,but Leonurus,which has traditional medicinal uses,stands out for its alkaloid-rich ***,the principal active compound found in Leonurus,has demonstrated promising effects in reducing blood lipids and treating ***,the biosynthetic pathway of leonurine remains largely ***,we present the chromosome-level genome sequence assemblies of Leonurus japonicus,known for its high leonurine production,and Leonurus sibiricus,characterized by very limited leonurine *** integrating genomics,RNA sequencing,metabolomics,and enzyme activity assay data,we constructed the leonurine biosynthesis pathway and identified the arginine decarboxylase(ADC),uridine diphosphate glucosyltransferase(UGT),and serine carboxypeptidase-like(SCPL)acyltransferase enzymes that catalyze key reactions in this *** analyses revealed that the UGT–SCPL gene cluster evolved by gene duplication in the ancestor of Leonurus and neofunctionalization of SCPL in ***,which contributed to the accumulation of leonurine specifically in ***,our comprehensive study illuminates leonurine biosynthesis and its evolution in Leonurus.

This paper studies the extraction and identification of ginsenoside Re from ginseng fruits and investigates the effect and mechanism of ginsenoside Re of protecting acute renal ischemia-reperfusion injury in *** been smashed,the ginseng fruits were ultrasonically extracted twice with 95% ethanol for 30min *** been concentrated,the solution was dissolved with distilled water and separated by two-column chromatography,of which one was packed with macroporous resin D4020,and the other was packed with macroporous resin *** raw product was dissolved with methanol and was purified by elution on a Si gel column,finally ginsenoside Re was *** structure of the ginsenoside Re was analyzed by the thin-layer chromatography and NMR methods,and HPLC was carried for the content *** model of acute renal ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats was established after ischemia for 1 h and reperfusion for 1 h or 24 h,serum SOD（superoxide dismutase）,MDA（malondialdehyde） and plasma TXB2（thromboxane B2） and 6-keto-PGF1α were *** results show that it has accurately,fast,convenient merits and so *** Re has a protective effect on acute renal ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats,the mechanism may be related to improving the imbalance of thromboxane A2（TXA2）/prostacyclin（PGI2） and inhibiting lipid peroxidation reaction.

The organization of the higher order structure of chromatin in chicken erythrocytes has been examined withtapping-mode scanning force microscopy under conditionsclose to their native environment. Reproducible highresolution AFM images of chromatin compaction at several levels can be demonstrated. An extended beads-on-astring (width of ～ 15-20nm, height of ～ 2-3nm for eachindividual nucleosome) can be consistently observed. Furthermore, superbeads (width of ～ 40nm, height of ～ 7nm)are demonstrated. Visualization of the solenoid conformation at the level of 30nm chromatin fiber is attained eitherby using AFM or by using electron microscopy. In addition, tightly coiled chromatin fibers (～ 50-60nm and ～90-110nm) can be revealed. Our data suggest that the chromatin in the interphase nucleus of chicken erythrocyte represents a high-order conformation and AFM provides useful high-resolution structural information concerning thefolding pattern of interphase chromatin fibers.
