The importance of human papillomavirus(HPV)infection and its role in the progress of cancer have been widely *** understanding of HPV association with certain cancers,such as cervical cancer,is very well established.A big step forward in the prevention of HPV associated cancers with the use of early detection by screening strategies has also been *** the last decade,development of HPV vaccination has reduced the number of cases in HPV infections and infection induced *** this report,we review the HPV pathogenesis and highlight the mechanism of HPV involvement in cancer development.

Effects of High-Pressure Technology on the Functional Properties of Milk and Fermented Milk Products

HPP （high pressure processing） is one of the novel technologies to produce microbiologically safe food. HPP is a non-thermal food processing method, wherein the food is subjected to a very high pressure ranging between 100-800 MPa in order to prevent undesirable chemical and microbiological reactions, and hence, prolong the shelf-life. HPP is also called as ＂high hydrostatic processing, ultra-high pressure processing or isostatic processing＂. In dairy products, HHP has the potential to modify the functional properties of proteins, polysaccharides and alter biochemical reactions without significantly affecting the nutritional and sensory properties. HPP treatment induces significant changes in milk components particularly in proteins （whey proteins and caseins）, as well as on their applicability in innovative dairy productions. HPP influences technological properties of various milk products such as firmness, water-holding capacity of the gel and network structure, cheese yield, rennet coagulation time and ripening.

Services provided at the premarital counseling center and characteristics of the clients, in kayseri, Turkey

Objectives: The study was conducted retro-spectively to evaluate the services offered at the Premarital Counseling Center (PCC) and the characteristics of the individuals who obtained counseling at the center in Kayseri. Methods: A retrospective review is based on data from the Premarital Counseling Center (PCC) in Kayseri. Seven hundred fifty four (754) individuals who attended the Center were included in the study sample. Data were collected from the Center’s records. Records of all people were reviewed by the researchers. Differences in proportions were analyzed by Chi square test and t test. Results: The age-average of the individuals who consulted the PCC was 26.2 ± 8.3, 91.1% of the individuals had Rh (+), 99.5% of them had VDRL (-), 3.9% had Hbs Ag (+), 0.8% had HCV (+) while none of the individuals was HIV (+) affected. It’s shown that 90.6% of the individuals who were between the ages of 15 - 19 were women, 9.4% of them were men. The difference between the age and the gender of the individuals who came to the center was considered significant. It was determined that the individuals who received counseling services at the PCC were not given any kind of educational and consulting services before.
