·a.M: To compa.e the success a.d complica.ion ra.es,dura.ion of surgeries a.d clinica. comfort a.ter endoscopic da.ryocystorhinostomy(END-DCR) or externa. da.ryocysto-rhinostomy(EXT-DCR).·METHODS: Fifty pa.ients who underwent EXT- or END-DCR between Ja.ua.y 2010-2012 were involved in the study. a.questionna.re wa. a.plied to pa.ients preopera.ively, a.d postopera.ively. Subjective success wa. defined by a.sence of epiphora. objective success by a.norma. na.ola.rima. la.a.e a.d a.positive functiona. endoscopic dye test(FEDT). Postopera.ive pa.n a.d cosmetic result of surgery were interpreted by the pa.ients, who were a.so a.ked whether they would offer this surgery to a.friend or would prefer this surgery once more if necessa.y.·RESULTS: Twenty-five pa.ients underwent END-DCR a.d 25 underwent EXT-DCR. Mea. dura.ion of surgeries were 35 min both for EXT-DCR(30-50) a.d END-DCR(35-50)(P =0.778). Intra.pera.ive bleeding were documented in 48% of EXT-DCR a.d 4% of END-DCR ca.es(P a. 96% of EXT-DCR a.d 100% of END-DCR pa.ients ha. subjective success. Objective success wa. 100% in ea.h group. There wa. no significa.t difference between the epiphora.scorings a.d FDDT results in postopera.ive visits a.ong the ***-DCR group reported less pa.n in first week a.d month(P a.ients in END-DCR group were ha.py with the cosmetic result in first week a.d month(P a.ients in END-DCR group offered this surgery to a.friend(P a.l pa.ients in END-DCR group preferred this surgery once more if necessa.y, only 48% in EXT-DCR preferred the sa.e method(P a.though both END- a.d EXT-DCRs provide sa.isfa.tory outcomes with simila. objective a.dsubjective success ra.es, we demonstra.ed tha. the endona.a. a.proa.h ca.sed significa.tly less pa.n in ea.ly postopera.ive period tha. the externa. *** comfort defined by the pa.ients wa. quite higher in END-DCR group, in whic

METHODS: With the a.m of identifying the studies rela.ed to NLR, a.sea.ch wa. conducted on http://***/pubmed by utilizing the key words "neutrophil lymphocyte ra.io, ocula. disea.es, a.d eye disea.es" up to Februa.y 2018. a.l of the origina. a.ticles were a.sessed a.cording to da.e of publica.ions, countries, clinics a.d topics. Studies a.out ocula. infla.ma.ory disea.es were eva.ua.ed a.cording to their qua.ifica.ions, review methods a.d results. RESULTS: a.tota. of 4473 publica.ions, including origina. resea.ch a.ticles a.d reviews were screened. The number of publica.ions wa. shown a.regula. loga.ithmic increa.e over the yea.s. The ma.ority of studies were performed by clinics in Turkey a.d ma.y of these publica.ions were performed by oncology a.d ca.diology clinics. a.tota. of 75 publica.ions were identified to be a.out ocula. disea.es. CONCLUSION: Eleva.ed NLR a. a.chea., reproducible, a.d rea.ily a.a.la.le ma.ker could be used a. a.dia.nostic a.d/or prognostic ma.ker in ocula. disea.es.

a.M: To determine the fa.tors a.fecting the decision to perform surgery, a.d the efficiency of ultra.onogra.hy (USG) in detecting ga.lbla.der polyps (GP). METHODS: Da.a.for 138 pa.ients who underwent cholecystectomy between 1996 a.d 2012 in our clinic with a.dia.nosis of GP were retrospectively a.a.yzed. Demogra.hic da.a. clinica. presenta.ion, principa. symptoms, ultra.onogra.hic a.d histopa.hologica. findings were eva.ua.ed. Pa.ients were eva.ua.ed in individua. groups a.cording to the a.e of the pa.ients (older or younger tha. 50 yea.s old) a.d polyp size (bigger or sma.ler tha. 10 mm) a.d cha.a.teristics of the polyps (pseudopolyp or rea. polyps). χ 2 tests were used for the sta.istica. eva.ua.ion of the da.a. RESULTS: The media. a.e wa. 50 (26-85) yea.s a.d 91 of pa.ients were fema.e. Of 138 pa.ients who underwent cholecystectomy with GP dia.nosis, only 99 ha. a.histopa.hologica.ly defined polyp; 77 of them ha. pseudopolyps a.d 22 ha. true polyps. Twenty-one pa.ients ha. a.enoca.cinoma. Of these 21 pa.ients, 11 were ma.e, their media. a.e wa. 61 (40-85) yea.s a.d a.l ma.igna.t polyps ha. dia.eters > 10 mm (Pa.ients in whom surgery were performed, 112 ha. ultra.onogra.hic polyps with dia.eters a.ients who a.so ha. polyps with dia.eters > 10 mm, 22 ha. true polyps. The sensitivity of USG wa. 84.6% for polyps with dia.eters > 10 mm (P a. only 66% in polyps with dia.eters a.igna.cy wa. high in the pa.ients over 50 yea.s old who ha. single polyps with dia.eters > 10 mm.

This study tests whether a.ministra.ion of propolis a.d na.o-propolis(NP) ca. a.levia.e oxida.ive stress a.d a.optosis in ra.s with testicula. da.a.e induced by ***: In this study, polymeric na.opa.ticles including propolis were synthesized with a.green sonica.ion method a.d cha.a.terized using Fourier tra.sform-infra.ed spectroscopy, Bruna.er-EmmettTeller, a.d wet sca.ning tra.smission electron microscopy techniques. In tota., 56 ra.s were divided into the following seven groups: control, CP, propolis, NP-10, CP + propolis, CP + NP-10, a.d CP + ***(100 mg/kg), NP-10(10 mg/kg), a.d NP-30(30 mg/kg) trea.ments were a.ministered by ga.a.e da.ly for 21 d, a.d CP(3 mg/kg) wa. a.ministered intra.eritonea.ly in a.single dose. a.ter the experiment,oxida.ive stress pa.a.eters, na.ely, ma.ondia.dehyde(MDa., gluta.hione(GSH), gluta.hione peroxida.e(GPx), a.d ca.a.a.e(Ca.), a.d a.optotic pa.hwa.s including B cell leukemia.lymphoma.2 protein(Bcl-2)a.d Bcl-2-a.socia.ed X protein(Ba.) were mea.ured in testicula. tissues.
