Future electric power systems will face new operational challenges due to the high penetration of distributed energy resources(ders).In Denmark,distribution system operator(DSO)expects a significant congestion increased in distribution *** order to manage these congestions and mobilize the ders as economically efficient as possible in the future distribution grid,the brand new notion of flexibility clearing house(FLECH)is proposed in this *** the aggregator-based offers,the proposed FLECH market has the ability to promote small scale ders(upto 5 MW)for actively participating in trading flexibility services,which are stipulated accommodating the various requirements of ***,the trading setups and processes of the FLECH market are also illustrated in detail.A quantitative example is utilized to illustrate the formulation and classification of flexibility services provided by the ders in the proposed FLECH market.

AIM: To determine whether the association of β-blockers with endoscopic treatment is superior to endoscopic treatment alone for the secondary prophylaxis of oesophageal variceal bleeding. METHODS: Randomised controlled trials comparing sclerotherapy (SCL) with SCL plus β-blockers (BB) or banding ligation (BL) with BL plus BB were identif *** outcomes were overall and 6, 12 and 24 mo rebleeding rates, as well as overall and 6, 12 and 24 mo mortality. Two statistical methods were used: Yusuf-Peto, and der Simonian and Laird. Inter-trial heterogeneity was systematically taken into account. RESULTS: Seventeen randomised controlled trials were included, 14 with SCL and 3 with BL. Combination β-blocker and endoscopic treatment signif icantly reduced rebleeding rates at 6, 12 and 24 mo and overall [odds ratio (OR): 2.20, 95% conf idence interval (CI): 1.69-2.85, P<0.0001] compared to endoscopic treatment alone. Mortality at 24 mo was signif icantly lower for the combined treatment group (OR: 1.83, 95% CI:1.16-2.90, P= 0.009), as well as overall mortality (OR: 1.43, 95% CI:1.03-1.98, P= 0.03). CONCLUSION: Combination therapy should thus be recommended as the fi rst line treatment for secondary prophylaxis of oesophageal variceal bleeding.

Different methods of calibrating ultra high frequency(UHF) sensors for gas-insulated substations(GIS) were investigated in the *** first approach was to use strip lines,triplates and TEM calibration *** cells had already been in use for years for example to test the electromagnetic compatibility of electronic *** smaller the size of the cell,the higher its bandwidth-but the cell should be large enough to not disturb the electric field with the installed sensor under *** overcome this problem,a calibration procedure using a gigahertz transverse electromagnetic (GTEM) test cell and a pulsed signal source were introduced in *** this procedure has many advantages and is easy to understand,measurements show several shortcomings of this calibration *** overcome the disadvantages of the known systems,a calibration cell using a monopole cone antenna and a metallic ground plane were developed and *** UHF sensor was placed in a region with minimum distortion of the electric field due to its *** shows that the new method for calibrating UHF sensors is necessary in order to overcome the limits in the calibration of large sensors and to suppress the propagation of higher order modes and *** to its surprisingly simple structure,its low price and low overall measurement uncertainty,it is the preferred method for calibrating UHF sensors for GIS applications.

Two-way Doppler measurement is a typical Earth-based radiometric technique for interplanetary spacecraft navigation and gravity science *** most widely used model for the computation of two-way Doppler observables is Moyer’s differenced-range Doppler(DRD) formula,which is based on a Schwarzschild approximation of the Solar-System ***,the computation of range difference in DRD formula is sensitive to round-off errors due to approximate numbers defined by the norm IEEE754 in all *** paper presented two updated models and their corresponding detailed instructions for the computation of the two-way Doppler observables so as to impair the effects of this type of numerical *** two models were validated by two case studies related to the Rosetta mission—asteroid Lutetia flyby and comet 67 P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko orbiting *** these two cases,the numerical noise from the updated models can be reduced by two orders-of-magnitude in the computed two-way Doppler *** results showed an accuracy from better than 6 × 10^(-3) mm s^(-1) at 1 s counting time interval to better than 3 × 10^(-5) mm s^(-1) at 60 s counting time interval.

The traditional Economic Production Quantity (EPQ) assumes that the replenishments are instantaneous and the relevant cost only consists of setup cost, stock-holding cost of the finished goods and the purchasing cost of raw materials. As a manager of a manufactory, there is a problem that must be taken into consideration. If the establishment buys all of the raw materials at the beginning, the stock-holding cost for the raw materials should be accounted into the relevant cost. The main purpose of this paper will add the stock-holding cost of raw materials to the EPQ model. Base on this new modified EPQ model, two more useful models are established. One of the new models contains the reusable raw materials instead of the raw materials. The other one considers the stock-holding cost of the raw materials and the imperfect-quality items are considered. We present the optimal cycle length from each of these three models.

Dear Editor, Carriers of balanced chromosomal rearrangements, including reciprocal, robertsonian translocations, and inversions, have all genetic information conserved. Nevertheless, because of the possibility of defect in chromosome segregation during gametogenesis, carriers of balanced rearrangements have an increased risk of spontaneous abortion and/ or a chromosomally unbalanced child with intellectual deficiency or multiple congenital malformations.
