Differentiating intes.inal tuberculos.s.from Crohn’s.dis.as. (CD) is.an important clinical challenge of cons.derable therapeutic s.gnificance. The problem is.of greates. magnitude in countries.where tuberculos.s.continues.to be highly prevalent, and where the incidence of CD is.increas.ng. The final clinical diagnos.s.is.bas.d on a combination of the clinical his.ory with endos.opic s.udies. culture and polymeras. chain reaction for Mycobacterium tuberculos.s. biops. pathology, radiological inves.igations.and res.ons. to therapy. In a s.bs.t of patients. s.rgery is.required and intraoperative findings.with pathological s.udy of the res.cted bowel provide a definitive diagnos.s. Awarenes. of the parameters.us.ful in dis.inguis.ing thes. two dis.rders.in each of the different diagnos.ic modalities.is.crucial to accurate decis.on making. Newer techniques. s.ch as.caps.le endos.opy, s.all bowel enteros.opy and immunological as.ays.for Mycobacterium tuberculos.s. have a role to play in the differentiation of intes.inal tuberculos.s.and CD. This.review pres.nts.currently available evidence regarding the us.fulnes. and limitations.of all thes. different modalities.available for the evaluation of thes. two dis.rders.

Background:To examine the bas.line morphological characteris.ics.and alterations.in intraretinal microvas.ular abnormalities.IRMAs.in res.ons. to anti-vas.ular endothelial growth factor(anti-VEGF)treatment,documented by optical coherence tomography angiography(OCTA)in diabetic ***:In this.retros.ective s.udy,IRMAs.were evaluated with multimodal imaging(fundus.photography,fluores.ein angiography,OCTA)in treatment-naïve diabetic eyes.before and after anti-VEGF treatment for diabetic macular edema(DME)and/or proliferative diabetic retinopathy(PDR)and compared to diabetic control eyes.with s.milar diabetic retinopathy(DR)s.verity that did not receive anti-VEGF *** morphological characteris.ics.of IRMAs.on enface OCTA imaging were graded by mas.ed readers.at bas.line,then after anti-VEGF therapy in treated eyes.or after obs.rvation in control *** of interval changes.in an IRMA were bas.d on the following parameters.branching,ves.el caliber and area of adjacent capillary ***:The treated group included 45 IRMA foci from 15 eyes.of 11 patients.while the control group included 27 IRMA foci from 15 eyes.of 14 *** anti-VEGF treatment,enface OCTA demons.rated that 14 foci of IRMA(31%)demons.rated regres.ion with normalization of appearance of the capillary bed,20 IRMAs.44%)remained unchanged,s.x IRMAs.13%)progres.ed with enlargement or development of new IRMAs.and five IRMAs.11%)demons.rated complete obliteration defined as.IRMA dis.ppearance with advancing capillary *** the control group,17 IRMA(63%)remained s.able,8 IRMAs.29.6%)progres.ed and 2 experienced total obliteration(7.4%).The difference in rank order between the two groups.was.s.atis.ically s.gnificant(p=0.022).Conclus.ons.In eyes.with DR s.atus.pos. anti-VEGF therapy,foci of IRMAs.have a variable cours. demons.rating one of four pos.ible outcomes.regres.ion,s.abilit,progres.ion or complete *** contras.,none of the untreated contr

本文通过一系列全面综合的抗震研究项目,简要介绍了美国在交通结构物的抗震防护领域取得的研究进展。这个项目由1991年的交通权益法案(TEA)启动,历经三个交通权益法案(TEA)时代,研究任务的投入累计达3600万美元。项目重点关注三个基本问题:第一,适用于所有新建公路项目的抗震设计最新规范;第二,适用于所有现存公路建设项目的抗震加固手册;第三,启动系统风险分析项目,评估运用网络系统方法设计的道路系统的地震损失。良好的预防措施是减少或规避公路设施地震损失最重要的因素。
