BACKGROUND Wilson disease(WD)is a progressive,potentially fatal degenerative disease affecting the liver and central nervous *** its low prevalence,collecting data on large cohorts of patients with WD is *** insur-ance claims databases provide powerful tools to collect retrospective data on large numbers of patients with rare *** To describe patients with WD in the United States,their treatment and clinical outcome,using a large insurance claims *** This retrospective,longitudinal study was performed in the Clarivate Real-World Data Product *** patients with≥2 claims associated with an Interna-tional Classification of Diseases 10(ICD-10)diagnostic code for WD(e83.01)between 2016 and 2021 were included and followed until death or study *** were divided into two groups by whether or not they were documented to have received a specific treatment for *** manifestations,hospital-isations,liver transplantation and death were *** Overall,5376 patients with an ICD-10 diagnostic code for WD were *** mean age at inclusion was 41.2 years and 52.0%were men.A specific WD treatment was documented for 885 patients(15.1%),although the number of patients taking zinc salts may be underestimated due to over the counter *** inclusion,the mean age of patients with a documented treatment was 36.6±17.8 years vs 42.2±19.6 years in those without a documented *** follow-up,273 patients(5.1%)*** with the American general population,the standardised mortality ratio was *** proportion of patients with a documented WD-specific treatment who died during follow-up was 4.0%and the mean age at death 52.7 *** Patients treated for WD in the United States had an excess early mortality compared with the American *** findings indicate that there is a significant unmet need for effective treatment for WD in the United States.

甲醛(FA)作为一种有致癌风险的有害污染物,在室内环境中普遍存在.为了高效去除甲醛,催化氧化技术成为了一种既经济又节能的选择,它不仅能降低材料成本(例如避免使用贵金属),也能在无光和室温的条件下进行.本文制备了一种成本效益高的碱改性锰酸铜尖晶石(CuMn^(2)O_(4))催化剂,并用于甲醛催化氧化反应中.实验结果表明,采用碱(1 mol L^(-1)氢氧化钾)改性的CuMn^(2)O_(4)(1-CuMn^(2)O_(4))作为催化剂,在室温条件下,当甲醛浓度为50 ppm,气体空速为4777 h^(-1)时,甲醛转化率(XFA)达到100%;此外,在甲醛转化率为10%时,其稳态反应速率达到了8.18×10^(-2) mmol g^(-1) h^(-1).原位漫反射红外傅立叶变换光谱结果表明,在催化剂的作用下,甲醛分子经过二氧亚甲基和甲酸酯中间体的转化,最终被氧化为水和二氧化碳.进一步结合密度泛函理论模拟发现,1-CuMn^(2)O_(4)具有较高的催化氧化甲醛性能,可归因于甲醛分子更牢固地吸附在1-CuMn^(2)O_(4)表面,甲醛吸附所需的能量较低,以及最终产物从催化剂表面脱附所需的能量也较低的综合效应.本研究为在无光和室温条件下,高效去除空气中甲醛提供了新型高效、成本效益高且无需贵金属的催化剂,从而为室内空气净化提供了新的科学见解.

Context: The advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) requires modeling prior to its implementation in algorithms for most human skills. This observation requires us to have a detailed and precise understanding of the interfaces of verbal and emotional communications. The progress of AI is significant on the verbal level but modest in terms of the recognition of facial emotions even if this functionality is one of the oldest in humans and is omnipresent in our daily lives. Dysfunction in the ability for facial emotional expressions is present in many brain pathologies encountered by psychiatrists, neurologists, psychotherapists, mental health professionals including social workers. It cannot be objectively verified and measured due to a lack of reliable tools that are valid and consistently sensitive. Indeed, the articles in the scientific literature dealing with Visual-Facial-emotions-Recognition (ViFaemRe), suffer from the absence of 1) consensual and rational tools for continuous quantified measurement, 2) operational concepts. We have invented a software that can use computer-morphing attempting to respond to these two obstacles. It is identified as the Method of Analysis and Research of the Integration of emotions (M.A.R.I.e.). Our primary goal is to use M.A.R.I.e. to understand the physiology of ViFaemRe in normal healthy subjects by standardizing the measurements. Then, it will allow us to focus on subjects manifesting abnormalities in this ability. Our second goal is to make our contribution to the progress of AI hoping to add the dimension of recognition of facial emotional expressions. The ice cap Ulugh Muztagh in the central Kunlun Shan at the northern fringe of the Tibetan Plateau is a very isolated region with arid cold conditions. No observational, meteorological or glaciological ground truth data is available. Using the Moderate-resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS) Level 1 radiance Swath Data(MOD02QKM) with a spatial resolution of 250 m, transient snow lines during the months of July to September in 2001 to 2014 are derived. Results are used to calibrate the physical based Coupled Snowpack and Ice surface energy and Mass balance model(COSIMA). The model runs on a representative detail region of Ulugh Muztagh(UM) on a digital elevation model with the same spatial resolution as the MODIS bands. In the absence of field observations, the model is driven solely by dynamically downscaled global analysis data from the High Asia Refined analysis(HAR). We compare remote sensing derived and modelled mean regional transient snow line altitudes in the course of consecutive summer seasons in 2008 to 2010. The resulting snow line altitude(SLA) and annual equilibrium line altitude(eLA) proxy of both methods coincide very well in their interannual variability in accordance with interannual variability of climatic conditions. Since SLAs of both methods do notconsistently agree on a daily basis a usage of remote sensing derived SLAs for model calibration in the absence of field observation data is only limitedly feasible for daily analysis. eLA approximation using the highest SLA at the end of ablation period may not be applied to UM because the negative winter mass balance(MB) is not reflected in the summer SLA. The study reveals moderate negative MB for UM throughout the modelling period. The mean regional MB of UM accounts for-523±410 mm w.e. a-1 in the modelling period. Hence UM seems not to belong to the area of the ‘Karakorum anomaly' comprising a region of positive mass balances in recent years which has its centre presumably in the Western Kunlu
