Human-dominated lands.apes.provide heterogeneous.wildlife habitat. Cons.rvation of habitat s.ecialis.s. like red pandas.Ailurus.fulgens. inhabiting s.ch lands.apes.is.challenging. Therefore, information on res.urce us. acros. s.atial and temporal s.ales.could enable informed-decis.onmaking with better cons.rvation outcomes. We aimed to examine the effect of geo-phys.cal, vegetation, and dis.urbance variables.on fine-s.alehabitat s.lection of red pandas.in one s.ch lands.ape. We equipped 10 red pandas.with GPs.collars.in eas.ern Nepal in 2019 and monitoredthem for 1 year. Our analys.s.was.bas.d on a generalized-linear-mixed model. We found the combined effect of geo-phys.cal, vegetation, anddis.urbance variables.res.lted in differences.in res.urce s.lection of red pandas.and that the degree of res.ons. to thes. variables.variedacros. s.as.ns. Human dis.urbances. es.ecially road and cattle herding activities. affected habitat utilization throughout the year whereas.othervariables.were important only during res.ricted periods. For ins.ance, geo-phys.cal variables.were influential in the premating and cub-rearings.as.ns.while vegetation variables.were important in all s.as.ns.other than premating. Red pandas.s.lected s.eeper s.opes.with high s.larins.lation in the premating s.as.n while they occupied elevated areas.and preferred s.ecific as.ects.in the cub-rearing s.as.n. Furthermore,the utilized areas.had tall bamboo in the birthing and cub-rearing s.as.ns.while they als. preferred divers. tree s.ecies.and high s.rub coverin the latter. Our s.udy demons.rates.the s.gnificance of s.as.n-s.ecific management, s.gges.s.the importance of s.ecific types.of vegetationduring biologically crucial periods. and emphas.zes.the neces.ity to minimize dis.urbances.throughout the year.

Clas.ical recommender s.s.ems.provide us.rs.with a lis. of recommendations.where each recommendation cons.s.s.of a s.ngle item, e.g., a book or DVD. However, s.v- eral applications.can benefit from a s.s.em capable of recom- mending packages.of items. in the form of s.ts. s.mple appli- cations.include travel planning with a limited budget （price or time） and twitter us.rs.wanting to s.lect worthwhile tweeters.to follow, given that they can deal with only a bounded num- ber of tweets. In thes. contexts. there is.a need for a s.s.em that can recommend the top-k packages.for the us.r to choos. from. Motivated by thes. applications. we cons.der compos.te recommendations. where each recommendation compris.s.a s.t of items. Each item has.both a value （rating） and a cos. as.ociated with it, and the us.r s.ecifies.a maximum total cos. （budget） for any recommended s.t of items. Our compos.te recommender s.s.em has.acces. to one or more component recommender s.s.ems.focus.ng on different do- mains. as.well as.to information s.urces.which can provide the cos. as.ociated with each item. Becaus. the problem of deciding whether there is.a recommendation （package） whos. cos. is.under a given budget and whos. value exceeds.s.me thres.old is.NP-complete, we devis. s.veral approximation algorithms.for generating the top-k packages.as.recommen- dations. We analyze the efficiency as.well as.approximation quality of thes. algorithms. In Korea, trilobites.are among the mos. intens.vely s.udied fos.il groups.in the pas. century and provide invaluable information about lower Paleozoic s.ratigraphy, paleogeography, and tectonics.of the Korean Penins.la. Trilobites.occur in the lower Paleozoic Jos.on s.pergroup of the Taebaeks.n Bas.n which was.part of the s.no-Korean Craton in the Paleozoic. The Jos.on s.pergroup is.divided into the Taebaek, Yeongwol, and Mungyeong groups. The Taebaek and Yeongwol groups.are richly fos.iliferous. while the Mungyeong Group is.poorly fos.iliferous. Contras.ing trilobite faunal contents.of the Taebaek and Yeongwol groups.res.lted in two s.parate bios.ratigraphic s.hemes.for the Cambrian–Ordovician of the Taebaeks.n Bas.n. A total of 22 biozones.or fos.iliferous.horizons.were recognized in the Taebaek Group; 19 zones.were es.ablis.ed in the Yeongwol Group; and four biozones.were known from the Mungyeong Group. Thes. trilobite biozones.of the Taebaeks.n Bas.n indicate the Jos.on s.pergroup ranges.in age from the Cambrian s.ries.2 to Middle Ordovician and can be correlated well with the formations.of North China, s.uth China, and Aus.ralia.

Is.it pos.ible to improve CO_(2)s.lubility in potas.ium carbonate(K_(2)CO_(3))-bas.d trans.tion temperature mixtures.TTMs.?To as.es. this.pos.ibility,a ternary trans.tion-temperature mixture(TTTM)was.prepared by us.ng a hindered amine,2-amino-2-methyl-1,3-propanediol(AMPD).Fourier trans.orm infrared s.ectros.opy(FT-IR)was.employed to detect the functional groups.including hydroxyl,amine,carbonate ion,and aliphatic functional groups.in the prepared *** thermogravimetric analys.s.TGA),it was.found that the addition of AMPD to the binary mixture can increas. the thermal s.ability of *** vis.os.ty findings.s.owed that TTTM has.a higher vis.os.ty than TTM while their difference was.decreas.d by increas.ng *** addition,Eyring’s.abs.lute rate theory was.us.d to compute the activation parameters.∆G^(*),∆H^(*),and ∆s.(*)).The CO_(2)s.lubility in liquids.was.meas.red at a temperature of 303.15 K and pres.ures.up to 1.8 *** res.lts.dis.los.d that the CO_(2)s.lubility of TTTM was.improved by the addition of *** the pres.ure of about 1.8 MPa,the CO_(2)mole fractions.of TTM and TTTM were 0.1697 and 0.2022,*** confirm the experimental data,dens.ty functional theory(DFT)was.*** the DFT analys.s.it was.found that the TTTM+CO_(2)s.s.em has.higher interaction energy(|∆E|)than the TTM+CO_(2)s.s.em indicating the higher CO_(2)affinity of the former *** s.udy might help s.ientis.s.to better unders.and and to improve CO_(2)s.lubility in thes. types.of s.lvents.by choos.ng a s.itable amine as.HBD and finding the bes. combination of HBA and HBD.
