Surgical trauma and ischemia reperfusion injury(IRI)are unavoidable aspects of any solid organ transplant *** trigger a multifactorial antigen-independent inflammatory process that profoundly affects both the early and long-term outcomes of the transplanted *** injury associated with donor organ procurement,storage,and engraftment triggers innate immune activation that inevitably results in cell death,which may occur in many different *** cells in donor grafts release damage-associated molecular patterns(DAMPs),which alert recipient innate cells,including macrophages and dendritic cells(DCs),through the activation of the complement cascade and toll-like receptors(tLRs).the long-term effect of inflammation on innate immune cells is associated with changes in cellular metabolism that skew the cells towards aerobic glycolysis,resulting in innate immune cell activation and inflammatory cytokine *** different roles of proinflammatory cytokines in innate immune activation have been described,and these cytokines also stimulate optimal t-cell expansion during allograft ***,early innate immune events after organ transplantation determine the fate of the adaptive immune *** this review,we summarize the contributions of innate immunity to allograft rejection and discuss recent studies and emerging concepts in the targeted delivery of therapeutics to modulate the innate immune system to enhance allograft survival.

Emerging contaminants(ECs)have drawn global concern,and the endocrine disrupting chemicals is one of the highly interested ECs ***,numerous ECs lacks the basic information about whether they can disturb the endocrine related biomacromolecules or elicit endocrine related detrimental effects on *** this study,the potential binding affinity and underlying binding mechanism between 29 ECs from 7 chemical groups and Gobiocypris rarus transthyretin(CrmttR)are investigated and probed using in vitro and in silico *** experimental results demonstrate that 14 selected ECs(11 disinfection byproducts,1 pharmaceuticals and personal care product,1 alkylphenol,1 perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substance)are potential CrmttR *** CrmttR binding affinity of three ECs(i.e.,2,6-diiodo-4-nitrophenol(logRP(t_(4))=0.678±0.198),2-bromo-6-chloro-4-nitrophenol(logRP(t_(4))=0.399±0.0908),tetrachloro-1,4-benzoquinone(logRP(t_(4))=0.272±0.0655))were higher than that of 3,3′,5,5′-tetraiodo-L-thyronine,highlighting that more work should be performed to reveal their potential endocrine related harmful effects on Gobiocypris *** docking results imply that hydrogen bond and hydrophobic interactions are the dominated non-covalent interactions between the active disruptors and *** optimum mechanism-based(for CrmttR),and high throughput screening(for CrmttR,little skate-ttR,seabream-ttR,and human-ttR)binary classification models are developed using three machine learning algorithms,and all the models have good classification *** facilitate the use of developed high throughput screening models,a tool named“ttR Profiler”is derived,which could be employed to determine whether a given substance is a potential CrmttR,little skate-ttR,seabreamttR,or human-ttR disruptor or not.

the McMurdoDryValleysofAntarcticaare a unique environment characterized by extreme lows in temperature and precipitation, which supports a low diversity microbial and multicellular fauna and flora. terrestrial biomass is largely limited to soil microbes and mosses, while perennially ice-covered lakes host aerobic and anaerobic microbial communities, algae, and a low diversity eukaryotic fauna. this study provides a scanning electron microscope survey of the distribution of siliceous-walled algae in the water columns and surface sediments of fourtaylorValleylakes. No patterns of distribution of algae, chrysophyte cysts and diatoms, are detected, suggesting that cores taken from perennially ice-covered lakes contain basin-wide records, rather than records specific to the lake depth or other lake-specific criteria. Since taylor Valley lakes became perennially ice-covered, shifts in diatom assemblages in cores are more likely to record changes to sediment and microfossil transport, e.g. the dominance of eolian vs. stream input, rather than other ecological conditions. Basin-wide records are episodically overprinted by lake-specific events, as demonstrated by a marked increase of the stream diatom genus Hantzschia during a period of increased stream flow into East Lake Bonney.

the modeling and prediction of suspended sediment in a river are key elements in global water recourses and environment policy and management. In the present study, an Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System model trained with the Levenberg-Marquardt learning algorithm is considered for time series modeling of suspended sediment concentration in a river. the model is trained and validated using daily river discharge and suspended sediment concentration data from the Schuylkill River in the United States. the results of the proposed method are evaluated and compared with similar networks trained with the common Hybrid and Back-Propagation algorithms, which are widely used in the literature for prediction of suspended sediment concentration. Obtained results demonstrate that models trained with the Hybrid and Levenberg-Marquardt algorithms are comparable in terms of prediction ***, the networks trained with the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm perform better than those trained with the Hybrid approach.

We consider the congruence x1＋ x2 ＋… ＋ xr - c （mod m）, wherem and r are positive integers and c ∈Zm ：= {0, 1, ..., m- 1} （m ≥ 2）. Recently,W.-S. thou, t. X. He,and peter J.-S. Shiue considered the enumerationproblems of this congruence, namely, the number of solutions with the restriction x1≤~ x2≤ ... ≤ xr, and got some properties and a neat formula ofthe solutions. Due to the lack of a simple computational method for calculating the number of the solution of the congruence, we provide an algebraic and a recursive algorithms for those numbers. the former one can also give a new and simple approach to derive some properties of solution numbers.

Dendrites are specialized neuronal compartments that sense, integrate and transfer information in the neural network. their development is tightly controlled and abnormal dendrite morphogenesis is strongly linked to neurological disorders. While dendritic morphology ranges from relatively simple to extremely complex for a specified neuron, either requires a functional secretory pathway to continually replenish proteins and lipids to meet dendritic growth demands. the Golgi apparatus occupies the center of the secretory pathway and is regulating posttranslational modifications, sorting, transport, and signal transduction, as well as acting as a non-centrosomal microtubule organization center. the neuronal Golgi apparatus shares common features with Golgi in other eukaryotic cell types but also forms distinct structures known as Golgi outposts that specifically localize in dendrites. However, the organization and function of Golgi in dendrite development and its impact on neurological disorders is just emerging and so far lacks a systematic summary. We describe the organization of the Golgi apparatus in neurons, review the current understanding of Golgi function in dendritic morphogenesis, and discuss the current challenges and future directions.
