Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is an incurable systemic autoimmune *** progression leads to joint deformity and associated loss of function,which significantly impacts the quality of life for sufferers and adds to losses in the labor *** the past few decades,RA has attracted increased attention from researchers,the abnormal signaling pathways in RA are a very important research field in the diagnosis and treatment of RA,which provides important evidence for understanding this complex disease and developing novel RA-linked intervention *** current review intends to provide a comprehensive overview of RA,including a general introduction to the disease,historical events,epidemiology,risk factors,and pathological process,highlight the primary research progress of the disease and various signaling pathways and molecular mechanisms,including genetic factors,epigenetic factors,summarize the most recent developments in identifying novel signaling pathways in RA and new inhibitors for treating *** interventions including approved drugs,clinical drugs,pre-clinical drugs,and cutting-edge therapeutic *** developments will hopefully drive progress in new strategically targeted therapies and hope to provide novel ideas for RA treatment options in the future.

Tanzania’s Ruaha landscape is prominent for its potential wildlife resources, which play a key role in sustaining the economy and livelihoods of the people. However, most of these resources are illegally obtained and traded in different places within and outside the Ruaha landscape. Due to its illegal nature, most of the important information regarding the trade is poorly documented. Therefore, the current study aimed first, to explore the origin and destination of wildlife products;second, to assess the relationship between hunters and buyers or customers;third, to assess the means used to transport wildlife products;and lastly, to assess who influences people to engage in illegal hunting and trade activities. In addition, we assess the materials used in the exchange of wildlife products. Semi-structured questionnaires and face-to-face interviews were used to collect information from 123 respondents. Social network analysis was used to indicate the origin and destination of wildlife products. The findings show that 70% of wildlife products originate from the Ruaha National Park and MBOMIPA wildlife management areas, with the remaining 30% originating from villages. The majority of respondents (65%) reported transporting wildlife products by foot and bicycle as the primary modes of transportation. Suppliers of wildlife products are reported to have close and long-term relationships with their customers and traders, with most of whom being friends and relatives. We found most poachers to be influenced by their friends and relatives in terms making decision to engage in illegal wildlife trade. In addition, crops like maize and rice were the most popular products used to exchange with wildlife products in the Ruaha landscape. Therefore, in order to combat illegal trade in wildlife products at the local level, alternative income-generating activities need to be promoted accompanied by not only well-funded anti-poaching programmes but also more effective surveillance pla

AIM: To evaluate the antioxidant and phase Ⅱ detoxification enzyme inducing ability of green leaf vegetables consumed in ***: The antioxidant properties of six commonly consumed Asian vegetables were determined using the ABTS, DPPH, deoxyribose, PR bleaching and ironascorbate induced lipid peroxidation assay. Induce of phase Ⅱ detoxification enzymes was also determined for each respective vegetable extract. Protection against authentic ONOO- and HOCI mediated cytotoxicity in human colon HCT116 cells was determined using the MTT 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrasodium bromide) viability ***: All of the extracts derived from green leaf vegetables exhibited antioxidant properties, while also having cytoprotective effects against ONOO- and HOCI mediated cytotoxicity. In addition, evaluation of the phase Ⅱ enzyme inducing ability of each extract,as assessed by quinone reductase and glutathioneS-transferase activities, showed significant variation between the vegetables ***: Green leaf vegetables are potential sources of antioxidants and phase Ⅱ detoxification enzyme inducers in the Asian diet. It is likely that consumption of such vegetables is a major source of beneficial phytochemical constituents that may protect against colonic damage.

流媒体直播所需要的高带宽限制了一个单播服务源所能承载的客户端数目。最好的解决方案是基于IP的多播,但由于IP多播是基于网络层的应用,难以得到实现,因此发展受到限制。由此提出了应用层多播技术。点对点的传输技术(P2P技术)克服了服务器带宽限制所导致的带宽瓶颈问题,支持对于带宽要求更高的应用,例如流媒体直播。P2P系统中的节点形成了ad-hoc网络,它可以为该网络提供资源,同时也享用其他节点提供的资源。本文讨论了基于树形结构的覆盖网络(overlay):Peercast流媒体直播系统,该技术使客户端能向其他节点发送数据流。本文描述了点对点(P2P)流媒体直播的特点,包括树形结构和数据驱动的覆盖网络,并比较得到他们的限制和应用范围。本文接着从架构和协议的方面分析了Peercast的工作原理。最后在fedora core 8 PC机上架设了一个Peercast系统,并测试了媒体流的传输。通过分析该系统的测试结果,证实Peercast工作情况良好。

AIM: Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) is a prominent gaseous constituent of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract with known cytotoxic properties. Endogenous concentrations of H2S are reported to range between 0.2-3.4 mmol/L in the GI tract of mice and humans. Considering such high levels we speculate that, at non-toxic concentrations, H2S may interact with chemical agents and alter the response of colonic epithelium cells to such compounds. The GI tract is a major site for the absorption of phytochemical constituents such as isothiocyanates, flavonoids, and carotenoids, with each group having a role in the prevention of human diseases such as colon cancer. The chemopreventative properties of the phytochemical agent β-phenyethyl isothiocyanate (PEITC) are well recognized. However, little is currently known about the physiological or biochemical factors present in the GI tract that may influence the biological properties of ITCs. The current study was undertaken to determine the effects of H2S on PEITC mediated apoptosis in colon cancer ***: Induction of apoptosis by PEITC in human colon cancer HCT116 cells was assessed using classic apoptotic markers namely SubG1 population analysis,caspase-3 like activity and nuclear fragmentation and condensation coupled with the MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrasodium bromide) viability assay and LDH ***: PEITC significantly induced apoptosis in HGT116cells as assessed by SubG1 population formation, nuclear condensation, LDH leakage and caspase-3 activity after 24 h, these data being significant from control groups (P＜0.01). In contrast, co-treatment of cells with physiological concentrations of H2S (0.1-1 mmol/L) prevented PEITC mediated apoptosis as assessed using the parameters ***: PEITC effectively induced cell death in the human adenocarcinoma cell line HCT116 in vitro through classic apoptotic mechanisms. The optimum drying conditions with regard to minimum color changes, high rehydration ratio and drying rate for chanterelle mushrooms is inadequately known. To address this problem, drying kinetics for chanterelle mushroom samples with sizes of 20 mm×20 mm×20 mm cube, 20 mm×20 mm×30 mm cuboid, and Ø40 mm×20 mm cylindrical shape were experimented. Drying air temperatures of 40℃, 48℃, and 56℃ at superfluous humidity and velocity of 2.2 m/s were used. Initial color pixels for each sample were determined using Note 8 Pro Xiaomi smartphone camera and image processing tool in Matlab R2019a. Triplicate experimentation was done based on L9 Taguchi orthogonal arrays with drying rate, specific moisture extraction rate, color change, and rehydration ratio being the response parameters. The drying rate increased from 1.1174 g/g∙min to 1.3478 g/*** as the temperature rose from 40℃ to 56℃. The mushroom cube had the highest drying rate of 1.2860 g/g∙min while the cylindrical shape had the lowest rate of 1.1764 g/g∙min. Similarly, SMER increased from 0.006 326to 0.013 27 g/kWh with the temperature rise. Contrary, SMER decreased from 0.006 92 to 0.013 63 g/kWh in cylinder to cube respectively. Color change was highest at 40℃ (13.49) and lowest at 56℃ (11.94). The mushroom cube had the lowest color change of 9.28 on average when compared to other shapes. Rehydration ratio was highest at 56℃ (3.824) as compared to 48℃ and 40℃. Additionally, the mushroom cube had the highest rehydration ratio of 4.55 on average as compared to other shapes. Temperature variation significantly influenced the drying rate and SMER. However, temperature variation had insignificant differences in color change and rehydration ratio. Mushroom shape variation had a significant difference in all the response variables tested. Conclusively, mushroom cubes at the drying temperature of 56℃ gave optimized drying conditions for chanterelle mushrooms with minimal quality deviations. Thus, chanterelle mushrooms can be
