AIM：To evaluate and compare the clinical outcomes with a diffractive bifocal and trifocal intraocular lens（IOL）during a 12-month ***：prospective comparative study including75 eyes of 38 patients（44-70y）undergoing uneventful cataract *** patient was randomly assigned to one type of IOL,bifocal（35 eyes）or trifocal（40 eyes）.Visual,refractive,and contrast sensitivity changes were evaluated in a 12-month *** binocular defocus curve was also measured at 12mo ***：No statistically significant differences between groups were found in postoperative uncorrected and corrected distance visual acuities（p≥0.276）.postoperative corrected near visual acuity（33 cm）was significantly better in the trifocal group during all follow-up（p≤0.004）as well as 6-month uncorrected near（p=0.008）and distancecorrected near visual acuities（p=0.016）（33/40 cm）.Significantly better uncorrected intermediate and distance corrected-intermediate visual acuity were found during all follow-up in the trifocal group（p〈0.001）,which was consistent with differences among groups in binocular defocus *** among groups in contrast sensitivity were minimal,being only significant at 6 months for some low to medium spatial frequencies（p≤0.006）.CONCLUSION：Bifocal and trifocal diffractive IOLs are able to provide an effective visual restoration which is maintained during a 12-month follow-up,with a clear benefit of the trifocal IOL for the intermediate vision.

Tropospheric Scattering(Troposcatter) and Tropospheric Ducting are two different mechanisms due to in-homogenoueties in the lower part of the Earths *** common influence in propagation of microwaves is studied here in order to achieve a feasible naval communication *** not new,Troposcatter together with Tropospheric Ducting communications are regaining popularity in current military and civil applications such as isolated islands and oil extraction facilities in the open *** innovation proposed here is the application of such systems in naval communications where at least one of the stations is *** propagation together with fading models are simulated using appropriate programs and scientific simulation packets in order to predict maximum range of such communication systems in each dominant mode of *** appropriate antenna design proposals are given to overcome the high propagation loss and minimize possible interferences.

The first results of investigation of the turbulence structure using Doppler backscattering(DBS)on the Globus-M2 tokamak are presented.A one-channel DBS system with a variable probing frequency within the 18–26 GHz range was installed to investigate the edge plasma at normalized minor radiiρ=0.9–*** correlation Doppler reflectometry was used to study the changes in turbulence eddies after the LH *** analysis was applied to the phase derivative of complex in-phase and quadrature(IQ)signals of the DBS diagnostic as it contains information about the poloidal plasma rotation *** L-mode,the radial correlation length L_(r)is estimated to be 3 cm and after transition to H-mode reduces to approximately 2 *** modelling in a linear local approximation using code GENE indicates that the instability with positive growth rate at the normalized minor radiusρ=0.75 in L-mode and H-mode on Globus-M2 was the ion temperature gradient(ITG)mode.

社会主义时期(1957-1989)的匈牙利迎来了翻译的黄金时代:不以盈利为目的的国有出版社能够赞助长期的翻译项目,并因拥有可靠的编辑人员和众多优秀的译者而生产佳作。在此期间,《金瓶梅》和中国古典小说四大名著中的三部被译为匈牙利语,不过,其中只有《水浒传》(1961)和《西游记》(1969)是由一位杰出的汉学家直接从中文译入的,而《红楼梦》(1959)和《金瓶梅》(1964)均转译自德文删简版。然而,那些转译的作品却更受欢迎,不断再版。究其原因,也许是原作的异国因素在经过转译后,更易引起匈牙利读者的共鸣,但也可能是因为家族题材的小说与西方小说更为相类,更易为本土读者所接受。1989年之后匈牙利对中国文学的翻译急剧减少,此种状况今后或许会有改善。

The objective of this review is to identify the shortfalls of wheat-based,crude protein(Cp)-reduced diets for broiler chickens as wheat is inferior to maize in this context but to inconsistent *** factors in wheat may be compromising gut integrity;these include soluble non-starch polysaccharides(NSp),amylase trypsin inhibitors(ATI)and *** NSp in wheat induce increased gut viscosities,which can lead to compromised gut integrity,which is not entirely ameliorated by NSp-degrading feed *** ATI probably compromise gut integrity and may also have the capacity to increase endogenous amino acid flows and decrease apparent starch and protein *** inclusions of 20 g/kg in a maize-soy diet depressed weight gain and feed intake and higher gluten inclusions have been shown to activate inflammatory cytokine-related genes in broiler *** research is required,perhaps particularly in relation to wheat *** protein content of wheat is typically higher than maize;importantly,this results in higher inclusions of non-bound amino acids in Cp-reduced broiler *** higher inclusions could trigger post-enteral amino acid imbalances,leading to the deamination of surplus amino acids and the generation of ammonia(NH3)which,if not adequately detoxified,results in compromised growth performance from ***,alternatives to nonbound amino acids to meet amino acid requirements in birds offered Cp-reduced,wheat-based diets merit *** digestion of wheat starch is more rapid than that of maize starch which may be a disadvantage as the provision of some slowly digestible starch in broiler diets may enhance ***,slowly digestible starch may result in more de novo ***,it may prove instructive to evaluate Cp-reduced diets based on maize-wheat and/or sorghum-wheat blends rather than entirely *** would reduce non-bound amino acid inclusions by lowering dietary Cp derived

The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of dietary crude protein(Cp)concentrations,grain types and arginine:lysine ratios on performance parameters of broiler *** 2×2×2factorial array of dietary treatments harnessed two Cp concentrations(210 and 170 g/kg),two feed grains(wheat and sorghum),and two arginine:lysine ratios(104 and 110).Each dietary treatment was offered to 7 replicates of 14 birds per floor pen,a total of 784 off-sex male,Ross 308 broilers,from 14 to 35 d *** dietary Cp reduction compromised weight gain by 10.0%(2078 versus 2310 g/bird)as a main effect and FCR by 7.51%(1.474 versus 1.371),subject to an *** a three-way interaction(p=0.008),expanded arginine:lysine ratios improved FCR by 2.30%in 170 g/kg Cp,sorghum-based diets but compromised FCR by 2.12%in corresponding wheat-based *** was the more suitable feed grain in reduced-Cp diets as sorghum generated significant advantages in weight gain of 7.59%(2154versus 2002 g/kg)and FCR of 6.94%(1.421 versus 1.527)in birds offered 170 g/kg Cp *** dietary Cp and feed grain generated significant and divergent impacts in apparent ileal digestibility coefficients for the majority of 16 assessed amino *** Cp reductions increased non-bound amino acid inclusions(NBAA)in wheat-based diets(48.96 versus 9.80 g/kg)to a greater extent than sorghum-based diets(35.3 versus 9.50 g/kg)and increasing dietary NBAA inclusions were linearly associated with compromised weight gain(r=-0.834;ppplasma concentrations were linearly(r=-0.466;p=0.004)related to improvements in *** implications of the observed outcomes are discussed and possible explanations are advanced.
