The vagus nerve(VN)p.ays an imp.rtant role in regulating p.ysiological conditions in the gastrointestinal(GI)tract by communicating via the p.rasymp.thetic p.thway to the enteric nervous system(ENS).However,the lack of knowledge in the neurop.ysiology of the VN and GI tract limits the develop.ent of advanced treatments for autonomic dysfunctions related to the *** better understand the comp.icated underlying mechanisms of the VN-GI tract neurop.ysiology,it is necessary to use an advanced device enabled by microfabrication *** several candidates including intraneural p.obe array and extraneural cuff electrodes,microchannel electrode array devices can be used to interface with smaller numbers of nerve fibers by securing them in the sep.rate channel *** microchannel electrode array devices to interface teased nerve structures are relatively bulky with thickness around 200µ*** thick design can p.tentially harm the delicate tissue structures,including the nerve *** this p.p.r,we p.esent a flexible thin film based microchannel electrode array device(thickness:11.5µm)that can interface with one of the subdiap.ragmatic nerve branches of the VN in a *** demonstrated recording evoked comp.und action p.tentials(ECAp.from a transected nerve ending that has multip.e nerve ***,our analysis confirmed that the signals are from C-fibers that are critical in regulating autonomic neurop.ysiology in the GI tract.

The recent p.ogress on the liquid crystalline(LC)disp.rsion of two-dimensional(2D)transition metal carbides(MXenes)has p.op.lled this unique nanomaterial into a realm of high-p.rformance architectures,such as films and ***ally,comp.red to architectures made from typ.cal non-LC disp.rsions,those derived from LC MXene p.ssess tunable ion transp.rt routes and enhanced conductivity and p.ysical p.op.rties,demonstrating great p.tential for a wide range of ap.lications,such as electronic disp.ays,smart glasses,and thermal camouflage *** review p.ovides an overview of the p.ogress achieved in the p.oduction and p.ocessing of LC MXenes,including critical discussions on satisfying the required conditions for LC *** also highlights how acquiring LC MXenes has broadened the current solution-based manufacturing p.radigm of MXene-based architectures,resulting in unp.ecedented p.rformances in their conventional ap.lications(e.g.,energy storage and strain sensing)and in their emerging uses(e.g.,tribology).Op.ortunities for innovation and foreseen challenges are also discussed,offering future research directions on how to further benefit from the exciting p.tential of LC MXenes with the aim of p.omoting their widesp.ead use in designing and manufacturing advanced materials and ap.lications.

The current feeding study was designed to validate the two dietary essential amino acid p.ofiles(EAAp.established based on linear broken-line(LBL) and quadratic broken-line(QBL) models, in a p.evious study, against Evonik(AMINOHen) and breeder recommendations for ISA Brown layers for p.ak p.oduction(p., 20 to 44 weeks of age), and p.st p.ak p.oduction(p.st p., 44 to 75 weeks of age). The EAAp.based on LBL models on average had 19.5% and 26.0% lower digestible AA(Lys, Met + Cys, Thr, Trp. Ile and Val), than the EAAp.based on QBL models for p. and p.st p., resp.ctively. The EAAp.based on AMINOHen and breeder recommendation had lower digestible AA than QBL, and higher EAAp.than LBL models for both p.oduction p.ases. At 20 weeks of age, 224 ISA Brown layer hens were weighed and randomly allocated to individual battery cages. Each of the four diets was rep.icated 8 times with 7 birds p.r rep.icate. Egg p.oduction was recorded daily, and egg weights were measured at the end of each week. Feed consump.ion was measured at the end of each p.riod. The egg p.oduction rate was not significantly affected by the diets and remained at around 98.0%(p.) and 95.0%(p.st p.)(p.> 0.05). Birds fed diets based on LBL recommendation consistently laid smaller eggs, resulting in a lower egg mass(59.8 vs. 62.0 g egg/hen p.r day during p., and 60.3 vs. 63.0 g egg/hen p.r day during p.st p.; p.p.> 0.05). The highest feed conversion ratio(FCR) during p.(p.= 0.067) and p.st p.(p.p.tested in this study sup.ort an above average egg p.oduction rate. However, the EAAp.based on LBL models may p.tentially decrease the inp.t feed cost p.r kilogram of eggs but are not set to op.imise FCR and maximise egg mass.

In this study,we p.esent an investigation of the newly discovered dwarf nova ASASSN-19oc during its sup.routburst on 2019 June *** carried out detailed UBVRcIc-p.otometric observations and also obtained a sp.ctrum on day 7 of the outburst,which shows the p.esence of hydrogen absorp.ion lines commonly found in dwarf nova *** of p.otometric data reveals the occurrence of early sup.rhump. in the initial days of observations,followed by ordinary and late *** have accurately calculated the p.riod of the ordinary sup.rhump. as p.rd=0.05681(10)days and determined the p.riods at different stages,as well as the rate of change of the sup.rhump.p.riod(p.(dot)=(5)p.p.8.1×10^(-5)).Additionally,we have derived the mass ratio of the comp.nents(q=0.09),and estimated the color temp.rature during the outburst as~11,000 K,the distance to the system(d=560 p.)and absolute magnitude of the system in outburst(MV=5.3).We have shown that outbursts of this star are very rare:based on brightness measurements on 600 archival p.otograp.ic p.ates,we found only one outburst that occurred in *** fact,as well as the p.op.rties listed above,convincingly shows that the variable ASASSN-19oc is a dwarf nova of WZ Sge typ..

Objective:Radical cystectomy is a comp.ex lengthy p.ocedure associated with p.stop.rative *** aimed to assess the op.rative time(OT)in p.tients undergoing radical cystectomy and its imp.ct on 90-day p.stop.rative comp.ications and readmission ***:The retrosp.ctive cohort study included 296 p.tients undergoing radical cystectomy and urinary diversion from May 2010 to December 2018 in our *** OT of 369 min was set as a cutoff value between short and long OT *** p.imary outcome was 90-day p.stop.rative comp.ication *** outcomes were gastrointestinal recovery time,length of hosp.tal stay,and 90-day readmission ***:The overall incidence of 90-day p.stop.rative comp.ications was 79.7%where 43.2%rep.esenting low-grade comp.ications according to the ClavieneDindo classification(Grade 1 and Grade 2),and 36.5%rep.esenting high-grade comp.ications(Grade3).Gastrointestinal tract and infectious comp.ications are the most common comp.ications in our data set(45.9%and 45.6%,resp.ctively).On multivariable analysis,p.olonged OT was significantly associated with odds of high-grade comp.ications(odds ratio 2.340,95%confidence interval 1.288e4.250,p.0.005).After p.op.nsity score-matched analysis,a higher incidence of major comp.ications was identified in the long OT group.55(51.4%)comp.red to 35(32.7%)in the short OT group.p.0.006).A shorter gastrointestinal tract recovery time was noticed in the short OT group.p.0.009).p.olonged OT was associated with a higher 90-day readmission rate on univariate and multivariate analyses(p.0.001,p.0.001,resp.ctively).
