Whole-genome shogun sequence(WGS)data generated by next-generation sequencing(NGS)platforms are a valuable resource for crop *** produced 5–6×WGS coverage of 44 Brassica oleracea breeding lines representing seven subspecies/morphotypes:cabbage,broccoli,cauliflower,kailan,kale,Brussels sprout,and kohlrabi to systematically evaluate the nuclear and chloroplast(Cp)diversity in the 44 *** breeding *** then exploited the impact of low-coverage NGS by evaluating nuclear genome diversity and assembly,annotation of complete chloroplast(Cp)genomes and 45 S nuclear ribosomal DNA(45S nrDNA)sequences,and copy number variation for major *** genome diversity analysis has revealed a total of 496463 SNPs and 37493 indels in the nuclear genome across the 44 ***,some SNPs showed subspecies enrichment at certain chromosomal *** assembly of complete Cp genomes contained 153361–153372 bp with 37 variants including SNPs and *** 45S nrDNA transcription unit was 5802 bp long with a total of 31 SNPs from the 44 *** phylogenetic tree inferred from the nuclear and Cp genomes coincided and clustered broccoli,cauliflower,and kailan in one group and cabbage,Brussels sprout,kale,and kohlrabi in another *** morphotypes diverged during the last 0.17 million *** Cp genome diversity reflected the unique cytoplasm of each subspecies,and revealed that the cytoplasm of many breeding lines was replaced and intermingled via inter-subspecies crosses during the breeding process *** polymorphic Cp markers provide a classification system for the cytoplasm types in ***,copy numbers of major transposable elements(TEs)showed high diversity among the 44 accessions,indicating that many TEs have become active ***,we demonstrated a comprehensive utilization of low-coverage NGS data and might shed light on the genetic diversity and evolution of diverse *** morphotypes.

The present review article has described the prevalence of various pathological conditions of reproductive system of female buffaloes starting from ovary to vulva and vagina. Various pathological conditions were analyzed and tabulated as the total number of animal examined, number of the animals showed pathological lesions, percentage of animal showed various pathological lesions and percentage of individual pathological lesion in different parts of reproductive system of female buffaloes. The incidence of disorders of female genital organs of buffaloes has been reported by various authors at various percentages in different countries. The incidence of pathological conditions was recorded in clinically infertile cows after slaughtering or from apparently healthy buffaloes slaughtered for human consumption and/or based on postmortem examination. This review is comprehensively covering pathological conditions of female buffalo hitherto which was not previously described at one place. This review will provide a comprehensive knowledge about the prevalence of different pathological condition of different parts of reproductive tract of female buffaloes. The review has six numbers of tables described about the various pathological conditions from ovary to vulva and vagina in female buffaloes. The present review article will be very useful to the buffalo farmers, buffalo breeders and researchers are working in buffalo reproduction & breeding and pathology.

Bacteriological and pathological studies of egg peritonitis in Commercial layer chicken in Namakkal area

Objective:To detect the various bacteriological agents and pathological changes in commercial layer chicken affected with egg yolk peritonitis in Namakkal region of ***:A total of 6572 layer chicken from 85 commercial farms were subjected for the study,out of which 1715 showed various types of oviduct *** the 1715,264 birds from six farms were identified as egg peritonitis on the basis of postmortem ***,lung,heart blood,liver,peritoneal exudate,oviduct(infundibulum,magnum,uterus)and cloacal swabs were collected from the 264 birds with egg peritonitis lesion for screening of bacterial ***,clinical signs and pathological changes were recorded in the affected ***:The results of the present investigation indicated that the *** associated egg peritonitis was responsible for 15.39%of the reproductive tract abnormalities in commercial layers between 21 and 80 week of *** the affected flocks egg production drop and mortality varied from 3%to 20%and 0.5%to 7.0%*** was noticed during peak egg production(21 to 60week)and southwest monsoon season(58%).Statistical analysis of age,season and egg production by Chi square test of independence revealed highly significant *** was isolated as a pure culture and concurrent with other bacterial agents in 226 and 38 birds *** the fifteen *** serotypes identified serotype O_(166),O_(?)and O_(111)were *** examination of affected birds revealed the presence of amorphous or insipissiated yolk material in the abdominal cavity with inflammatory changes in the ovary,oviduct and *** the oviduct surface epithelium showed degeneration and desquamation,moderate to marked infiltration of inflammatory cells especially heterophils and lymphocytes in various regions and lumen contained serofibrinous exudate,inflammatory and desquamated epithelial cells with bacterial *** follicles r

Due to their promising applications in foldable displays,optical communication equipment and environmental monitoring systems,flexible and broadband optoelectronic devices have gained extensive attention in recent ***,a flexible and broadband photodetector based on CsPbBr_(3)/PbSe quantum dot(QD) heterostructures is firstly *** integrated QD heterostructures possess consecutive detection range from ultraviolet(UV) to long-wave length infrared(LW-IR) regions with efficient light absorption and chemical stability,in comparison with the pristine PbSe *** material characterizations reveal the improved exciton dissociation,carrier transport and carrier lifetime of the QD *** photodetector Ag/CsPbBr_(3)/PbSe/Ag demonstrate a high responsivity of 7.17 A/W with a specific detectivity of 8.97 × 10^(12) Jones under 25 μW/cm^(2) 365 nm illumination at 5 ***,it could maintain 91.2 %(or 94.9 %) of its initial performance even after bending for thousands of times(or exposing in ambient air for 4 weeks).More importantly,its re s ponse time is shortened more than three orders of magnitude as that of pristine PbSe QDs-based ***,it provides a feasible and promising method for the next-generation high-performance broadband photodetectors via constructing heterostructures of various QDs.

Performance Enhancement of Grouped MCCDMA-MIMO System through Power Control Using Water Filling Game Theory under Imperfect Channel State Condition

Continuous increase in demand of wireless services such as voice, data and multimedia is fueling the need of spectrally efficient techniques in communication networks. The MCCDMA-MIMO, a system of Multi Carrier Code Division Multiple Access (MCCDMA) technique with multiple antennas at both the transmitter and receiver gets benefits of ability to adopt multiple access capability from MCCDMA technique, achieves high data rate from MIMO concepts and becomes a very attractive multiple access technique for the future wireless communication systems. But, the wireless channels in MCCDMA-MIMO networks are known to display significant variations across active users’ subcarriers as well as among subcarriers of the same user due to simultaneous spectrum utilization. This leads to the undesirable Multiple-Access Interference (MAI) and Inters Carrier Interference (ICI), accordingly degrades the performance of the system. So, the interference mitigation methodology in the MCDMA-MIMO system has received a lot of attention in next generation mobile environment. The power control and sub carrier grouping methods have been long standing open solutions for capacity enhancement. The strategic choice of assigning the transmission power to each individual subcarrier in the MCCDMA-MIMO system is subjected to the knowledge of Channel State Information (CSI), which usually becomes imperfect due to the time varying nature of the channels. The goal of this paper is to allocate proper power to sub-carriers of MCCDMA-MIMO system by playing water filling game theory against the CSI errors to improve the performance of the system.

Identification of α-glucosidase inhibitors from Clinacanthus nutans leaf extract using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry-based metabolomics and protein-ligand interaction with molecular docking

The present study used in vitro and in silico techniques, as well as the metabolomics approach to characterise α-glucosidase inhibitors from different fractions of Clinacanthus nutans. C. nutans is a medicinal plant belonging to the Acanthaceae family, and is traditionally used to treat diabetes in Malaysia. nHexane, n-hexane: ethyl acetate(1:1, v/v), ethyl acetate, ethyl acetate: methanol(1:1, v/v), and methanol fractions were obtained via partitioning of the 80% methanolic crude extract. The in vitro α-glucosidase inhibitory activity was analyzed using all the fractions collected, followed by profiling of the metabolites using liquid chromatography combined with mass spectrometry. The partial least square(PLS) statistical model was developed using the SIMCA P^+14.0 software and the following four inhibitors were obtained:(1) 4,6,8-Megastigmatrien-3-one;(2) N-Isobutyl-2-nonen-6,8-diynamide;(3) 1′,2′-bis(acetyloxy)-3′,4′-didehydro-2′-hydro-β, ψ-carotene; and(4) 22-acetate-3-hydroxy-21-(6-methyl-2,4-octadienoate)-olean-12-en-28-oic acid. The in silico study performed via molecular docking with the crystal structure of yeast isomaltase(PDB code: 3 A4 A) involved a hydrogen bond and some hydrophobic interactions between the inhibitors and protein. The residues that interacted include ASN259, HID295, LYS156, ARG335,and GLY209 with a hydrogen bond, while TRP15, TYR158, VAL232, HIE280, ALA292, PRO312, LEU313,VAL313, PHE314, ARG315, TYR316, VAL319, and TRP343 with other forms of bonding.

Seasonal effect on physiological, reproductive and fertility profiles in breeding mithun bulls

Objective:To analyse the seasonal effect on physiological parameters, reproductive profiles andin vitro fertility in breeding mithun ***: A total of ten adult mithun bulls age of 5 to 6 years old with good body condition (score 5-6) were selected from ICAR-NRC on Mithun, Jharnapani, Nagaland, India. The seasons were categorised into winter, spring, summer and autumn seasons based on the meteorological data and sunshine hours. The physiological parameters, reproductive profiles andin vitro fertility parameters were assessed during different seasons in mithun under the semi-intensive system of ***:The statistical analysis revealed that these experimental parameters were differed significantly (P<0.05) among the seasons and in overall spring and winter seasons were more beneficial in mithun breeding programme, although, the breeding in mithun occurred throughout the year with ***:It is concluded that collection & preservation of mithun semen and artificial insemination in mithun species during the season of spring and winter has significant beneficial effect in terms of semen production, freezability and fertility for artificial breeding programme in mithun under the semi-intensive system.

Objective:To assess the effect of exogenous gonadotropin releasing hormone(GnRH)in libido,scrotal and testicular biometrics,endocrinological and heamatological profiles of Ganjam goat buck during winter and pre-monsoon ***:Forty eight healty Ganjam goat bucks of 3-4 years old were equally divided into the control and treatment *** control group received distilled water as placebo,while the treatment group received GnRH injection(4μg Buserelin acetate/mL)once a week for four *** weight,scrotal circumference and testicular parameters(testicular volume,testicular weight and testis index),endocrinological profiles[follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),and testosterone],sex behavioural profiles(libido score,mating ability score,and sex behavioural score)and heamatological profiles(red blood cells,white blood cells,haemoglobin,and packed cell volume)were ***:The libido,scrotal and testicular biometrics,and endocrinological profiles significantly differed between the control and GnRH-treated bucks within and between the seasons within the two groups(P<0.05).Body weight,scrotal circumference,testicular volume,testicular weight,testis index,FSH,LH,testosterone,libido score,mating ability score,sex behavioural score,red blood cells,haemoglobin and packed cell volume were significantly higher in the GnRH-treated bucks compared to the control bucks in pre-monsoon and winter seasons(P<0.05).Body weight,scrotal circumference,testicular volume,testicular weight,testis index,FSH,LH,testosterone,libido score,mating ability score,sex behavioural score,red blood cell counts(in treatment),and haemoglobin were significantly higher in pre-monsoon compared to winter season in the experimental groups(P<0.05).The white blood cell counts neither differed between seasons nor between the two ***:Exogenous GnRH supplementation and pre-monsoon season have higher beneficial effects in improvement of endocrinological profi

Therapeutic effect of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells on cold stress induced changes in the hippocampus of rats

The present study aims to evaluate the effect of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells on cold stress induced neuronal changes in hippocampal CA1 region of Wistar rats. Bone marrow mes- enchymal stem cells were isolated from a 6-week-old Wistar rat. Bone marrow from adult femora and tibia was collected and mesenchymal stem cells were cultured in minimal essential medium containing 10% heat-inactivated fetal bovine serum and were sub-cultured. Passage 3 cells were analyzed by flow cytometry for positive expression of CD44 and CD90 and negative expression of CD45. Once CD44 and CD90 positive expression was achieved, the cells were cultured again to 90% confluence for later experiments. Twenty-four rats aged 8 weeks old were randomly and evenly divided into normal control, cold water swim stress （cold stress）, cold stress ＋ PBS （intra- venous infusion）, and cold stress ＋ bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells （1 x 106; intravenous infusion） groups. The total period of study was 60 days which included 1 month stress period followed by 1 month treatment. Behavioral functional test was performed during the entire study period. After treatment, rats were sacrificed for histological studies. Treatment with bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells significantly increased the number of neuronal cells in hippocampal CA 1 region. Adult bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells injected by intravenous administration show potential therapeutic effects in cognitive decline associated with stress-related lesions.

A Coincered Node Based Localization of Jammers in Wireless Sensor Networks

Jammers can awfully interfere with the wireless communications. The transmission and reception of wireless communication is blocked by the jammer. The intruder will place the jammer in a well topological network area and they can easily track the information. It will help them to block the signal transmission and reception. Now, the intention is to track the position of the jammer where it is fixed. The existing methods rely on the indirect measurements and the boundary node to find the jammer’s position which degrades the accuracy of the localization. To improve the efficiency, this paper proposed an efficient method namely Coincered Node Based Localization of jammers to find the position of the jammer with high level of accuracy. The proposed system uses the direct measurements, which is the jammer signal strength. The effectiveness can also be increased by using the coincered node that will stumble across the true position of the jammer. The proposed work is compared with existing methods. Then the proposed mechanism proves better to find the jammer location. The simulation results estimate that the accuracy of the localization achieves better performance than the existing schemes.
