AIM To investigate the impact of medication beliefs, illness perceptions and quality of life on medication adherence in people with decompensated *** One hundred adults with decompensated cirrhosis completed a structured questionnaire when they attended for routine outpatient hepatology review. Measures of self-reported medication adherence(Morisky Medication Adherence Scale), beliefs surrounding medications(Beliefs about Medicines Questionnaire), perceptions of illness and medicines(Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire), and quality of life(Chronic Liver Disease Questionnaire) were examined. Clinical data were obtained via patient history and review of medical records. Least absolute shrinkage and selection operator and stepwise backwards regression techniques were used to construct the multivariable logistic regression model. Statistical significance was set at alpha = *** Medication adherence was " High " in 42 % o f participants, "Medium" in 37%, and "Low" in 21%. Compared to patients with "High" adherence, those with "Medium" or "Low" adherence were more likely to report difficulty affording their medications(P < 0.001), lower perception of treatment helpfulness(P = 0.003) and stronger medication concerns relative to medication necessity beliefs(P = 0.003). People with "Low" adherence also experienced greater symptom burden and poorer quality of life, including more frequent abdominal pain(P = 0.023), shortness of breath(P = 0.030), and emotional disturbances(P = 0.050). Multivariable analysis identified having stronger medication concerns relative to necessity beliefs(Necessity-Concerns Differential ≤ 5, OR = 3.66, 95%CI: 1.18-11.40) and more frequent shortness of breath(shortness of breath score ≤ 3, OR = 3.87,95%CI: 1.22-12.25) as independent predictors of "Low"*** The association between "Low" adherence and patients having strong concerns or doubting the necessity or helpfulness of their medications should be explor

Inherited cardiomyopathies are major causes of morbidity and mortality and include a group of cardiac disorders such as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy(HCM),dilated cardiomyopathy,arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia/cardiomyopathy(ARVD/C),left ventricular noncompaction(LVNC),and restrictive cardiomyopathy(RCM).These diseases have a substantial genetic component and predispose to sudden cardiac *** the first gene was identified as a disease-causing gene for HCM over two decades ago,more than eighty genes have been identified to be associated with inherited cardiomyopathies and genetic testing has become prevalent in making clinical *** the advent of next-generation sequencing technology,genetic panel testing of inherited cardiomyopathies has become feasible and cost *** this review,we summarize the individual cardiomyopathies with the emphasis on cardiomyopathy genetics and genetic testing.

The purpose of this research was to inform primary school nutritional policy by identifying which mid-morning snack would be more beneficial to consume from an appetite control perspective. During morning break 14 girls and 11 boys were provided with 160 ml of semi-skimmed milk or153 gof apple in a randomised crossover manner. Visual analogue scales were used to record hunger, prospective food consumption and fullness, immediately before and after breakfast, immediately before and after the mid-morning snack, and every 60 min until 21:00 on each day. School dinner/packed lunch energy intakes were assessed 90 min following the mid-morning snacks, in addition to evening energy intake. Children felt less hungry and could eat less when apple was consumed, however lunch and evening energy intakes were not different. Fluctuations in appetite did not translate into differences in energy intake therefore both milk and fruit should be promoted as mid-morning snacks in primary schools.

以两种水凝胶型硅胶和3种干凝胶型硅胶为研究对象,通过不同水平的硅胶(0、50、300、1000mg/L)处理,做中试试验,比较不同类型硅胶对啤酒中混浊活性蛋白质和泡沫活性蛋白质的影响。试验结果表明,5种硅胶不同水平处理及不同硅胶之间对啤酒中混浊性蛋白存在极显著影响(p<0.01)。其中,干凝胶型硅胶比水凝胶型硅胶能更好地去除啤酒中混浊活性蛋白。在H-16、A-100和X-12使用量较低时,泡沫活性蛋白略有增加;在上述物质使用量高的情况下泡沫活性蛋白降低。在D-300和BG-5处理条件下,泡沫活性蛋白含量降低;除BG-5外,其它4种硅胶处理对泡沫活性蛋白均无显著影响(p<0.05)。用杜肯(Duncan)新复极差法分析中试试验数据,硅胶处理对混浊活性蛋白存在极显著影响(p<0.01),泡沫活性蛋白虽略有下降,但差异不显著。

Multiwavelength generation using an add-drop microring resonator integrated with an InGaAsP/InP sampled grating distributed feedback

A system of an add-drop microring resonator integrated with a sampled grating distributed feedback （SG-DFB） is investigated via modeling and simulation with the time-domain traveling wave （TDTW） method. The proposed microring resonator comprises a SiO2 waveguide integrated with an InGaAsP/InP SG-DFB, and the SiO2 waveguide consists of a silicon core having a refractive index of 3.48 and Kerr co- efficient of 4.5 × 10^-18 m2/W. The SG-DFB consists of a series of grating bursts that are constructed using a periodic apodization function with a burst spacing in the grating of 45 μm, a burst length of 5 μm, and I0 bursts across the total length of the SG-DBR. Transmission results of the through and drop port of the microring resonator show the significant capacity enhancement of the generated center wavelengths. The Q-factor of the microring resonator system, defined as the center wavelength （λ0） divided by 3 dB FWHM, without and with integration with the SG-DFB is calculated as 1.93 × 10^5 and 2.87 × 10^5, respectively. Analysis of the dispersion of the system reveals that increasing the wavelength results in a decrease of the dispersion. The higher capacity and efficiency are the advantages of integrating the microring resonator and the InGaAsP/InP SG-DFB.

在1985～1986年和1986～1987年两个具有不同气候特点的年份，于Rothamsted试验站进行了多因素试验，研究了在冬前和春后小麦重要生长发育阶段施N对9月播种和10月播种的冬小麦产量和籽粒含N量的影响。改变冬前N素供应的处理是在冬前给小麦施用N肥和把小麦种植在具有不同土壤N素残留量的油菜茬地和燕麦茬地上。春后施N在总量为200kg／ha的施肥水平上，设置早施或迟施，一次性施用或分次施用等处理组合。1985～1986年的试验还研究了在夏季增施50kgN/ha的作用。在两年的试验中，9月份播种比10月份播种的小麦产量高。与1985～1986年比较，1986～1987年9月播种的小麦越冬阶段生长较好，但在植株生长和N素吸收方面的早期优势只提高了秸秆产量而未增加籽粒产量。两年中，燕麦茬土壤氮素的残留量都低于油菜茬。土壤氮素的差异不影响10月播种的小麦越冬期生长和氮素吸收。1985～1986年，因不良的气候条件限制了小麦冬前生长和氮素吸收，无论是冬前施N还是土壤残留N含量都未影响9月播种的小麦产量。而在1986～1987年，燕麦茬小麦的产量比油菜茬减产420kg／ha，但是这种减产可以通过施用氮肥以平衡土壤含N量来消除。在4月份一次性推迟施N使小麦减产，特别是在9月播种的燕麦茬小麦和冬前未施N肥的处理。

We report the discovery of KMT-2020-BLG-0414 Lb,with a planet-to-host mass ratio q2=0.9-1.2×10-5=3-4 q⊕at 1σ,which is the lowest mass-ratio microlensing planet to *** with two other recent discoveries(4?q/q⊕?6),it fills out the previous empty sector at the bottom of the triangular(log s,log q)diagram,where s is the planet-host separation in units of the angular Einstein radiusθ***,these discoveries call into question the existence,or at least the strength,of the break in the mass-ratio function that was previously suggested to account for the paucity of very low-q *** to the extreme magnification of the event,Amax~1450 for the underlying single-lens event,its light curve revealed a second companion with q3~0.05 and|log s3|~1,i.e.,a factor~10 closer to or farther from the host in *** measurements of the microlens parallaxπE and the angular Einstein radiusθE allow estimates of the host,planet and second companion masses,(M1,M2,M3)~(0.3 M⊙,1.0 M⊕,17 Mj),the planet and second companion projected separations,(a⊥,2,a⊥,3)~(1.5,0.15 or 15)au,and system distance DL~1 *** lens could account for most or all of the blended light(I~19.3)and so can be studied immediately with high-resolution photometric and spectroscopic observations that can further clarify the nature of the *** planet was found as part of a new program of high-cadence follow-up observations of high-magnification *** detection of this planet,despite the considerable difficulties imposed by COVID-19(two KMT sites and OGLE were shut down),illustrates the potential utility of this program.
