Microstructure, Texture, and Hardness Evolutions of Al-Mg-Si-Cu Alloy during Annealing Treatment

Microstructure, texture and hardness evolutions of Al-Mg-Si-Cu alloy during annealing treatment were studied by microstructure, texture and hardness characterization in the present study. The experimental results show that microstructure, texture and hardness will change to some extent with the increase of annealing temperature. The microstructure transforms from the elongated bands to elongated grains first, and then the grains grow continuously. The texture transforms from the initial deformation texture b fiber to recrystallization texture mainly consisting of CubeND {001} and P {011} orientations first, and then the recrystallization texture may be enhanced continuously as a result of the grain growth. Hardness decreases slowly at first, and then decreases sharply and increases significantly finally. Besides, the particle distributions also have great changes. As the annealing temperature increases, they increase firstly as a result of precipitation, and then gradually disappear as a result of dissolution. Finally, the effect of annealing temperature on microstructure, texture and hardness evolutions is discussed.

TDP43 pathology is seen in a large majority of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS)cases,suggesting a central pathogenic role of this regulatory *** the molecular mechanism controlling TDP43 stability and subcellular location might provide important insights into ALS *** ubiquitin E3 ligase RNF220 is involved in different neural developmental processes through various molecular targets in the ***,we report that the RNF2207 mice showed progressively decreasing mobility to different extents,some of which developed typical ALS pathological characteristics in spinal motor neurons,including TDP43 cytoplasmic accumulation,atrocytosis,muscle denervation,and ***,RNF220 interacts with TDP43 in vitro and in vivo and promotes its polyubiquitination and proteasomal *** conclusion,we propose that RNF220 might be a modifier of TDP43 function in vivo and contribute to TDP43 pathology in neurodegenerative disease like ALS.

The utilization and development of tidal current energy can help alleviate the current energy shortage,improve the global ecological environment,and maintain sustainable *** this study,numerical simulation is carried out on a rectangular grid using *** tidal current energy potential of the major channels in the Bohai Strait is further simulated and estimated by comparing the simulated and measured *** show that the flow module in Delft3D has good modeling ability for the assessment of tidal current energy *** average flow velocity,maximum flow velocity,and energy flow density are *** Laotieshan Channel,located in the northern part of the Bohai Strait,shows a large tidal current energy *** maximum flow velocity of this channel can reach 2 m s-1,and the maximum energy flow density can exceed 500 W *** tidal current energy in the Laotieshan Channel is more than 10 times that in other ***,this study advocates for the continued exploration and exploitation of the tidal current energy resources in the Laotieshan Channel.

The massive use of antibiotics in aquaculture and resulted antibacterial resistance problem urgently need antibiotic substitutions. Herein, we report a promising substitution of aquaculture antibiotics using a synergistic combination of biodegradable peptide polymers and curcumin, a natural compound from plant. The synergistic combination shows strong antibacterial activity against V. fluvialis and some other common bacteria in aquaculture. The membrane-damaging antibacterial mechanism echoes our finding that the synergistic combination will not induce bacteria to develop resistance after continuous use. The synergistic combination also displays effective cure on V. fluvialis-infected zebrafish. The biodegradability of the peptide polymer enables the combination to lose antibacterial activity and will not cause selective pressure on bacterial in the environment. Our study indicates potential application of synergistic composition, biodegradable peptide polymer and curcumin, as promising antibiotic substitution in aquaculture, which represents a promising strategy to address the global challenge of antimicrobial resistance.

某含碳金矿选矿试验研究及工业实践

针对某含碳金矿进行了深入的工艺矿物学分析,揭示了影响选矿效率的关键因素。通过选矿试验,成功降低了磨矿细度,并选择了一种高效的碳抑制剂,有效解决了有机碳对金浮选过程的干扰问题。在原矿金品位1.84 g/t的条件下,通过实验室全流程闭路试验,获得了金精矿金品位37.81 g/t、金回收率91.20%的优异指标。基于小型试验结果,进一步进行了工业试验,对磨矿细度、药剂制度等工艺参数进行了优化。试验结果表明:生产指标显著提升,金精矿金加权平均品位从24.31 g/t提高至40.25 g/t,金加权平均回收率从88.02%提高至91.42%。此外,磨矿细度的降低显著减少了生产成本。

Sonic hedgehog (Shh) signaling is essential for the proliferation of cerebellar granule neuron progenitors (CGNPs), and its misregulation is linked to various disorders, including cerebellar cancer medulloblastoma (MB). During vertebrate neural development, RNF220, a ubiquitin E3 ligase, is involved in spinal cord patterning by modulating the subcellular location of glioma-associated oncogene homologs (Glis) through ubiquitination. RNF220 is also required for full activation of Shh signaling during cerebellum development in an epigenetic manner through targeting embryonic ectoderm development. ZC4H2 was reported to be involved in spinal cord patterning by acting as an RNF220 stabilizer. Here, we provided evidence to show that ZC4H2 is also required for full activation of Shh signaling in CGNP and MB progression by stabilizing RNF220. In addition, we found that the ubiquitin E3 ligase RING finger LIM domain-binding protein (RLIM) is responsible for ZC4H2 stabilization via direct ubiquitination, through which RNF220 is also thus stabilized. RLIM is a direct target of Shh signaling and is also required for full activation of Shh signaling in CGNP and MB cell proliferation. We further provided clinical evidence to show that the RLIM‒ZC4H2‒RNF220 cascade is involved in Shh-group MB progression. Disease-causative human RLIM and ZC4H2 mutations affect their interaction and regulation. Therefore, our study sheds light on the regulation of Shh signaling during cerebellar development and MB progression and provides insights into neural disorders caused by RLIM or ZC4H2 mutations.

Objective One of major challenges in paleoenvironmental reconstruction using travertine in the Huanglong area is whether one can accurately determinate the age of travertine through high-precision and high-resolution dating techniques. Previous works of 14C or ESR chronology, however, have shown that the variation of deposition ages of travertine was displayed inconsistent with each other even conflict. For instance, （1） The oldest travertine age （80 ka） located in the middle of this travertine succession is departure from sequential deposition; （2） Top or boundary ages in this sedimentary section, even with the same dating method （14C）, are three times errors, moreover, the age of the depositional sequence is not continuous. We report here the U230Th ages in lowest boundary of travertine in Dawanzhangjia Valley, Huanglong, China, to discuss the effectiveness of U-series dating for cold-water travertine and the significance of age for vicissitude of paleoenvironment.
