In this paper the homotopy continuation method for stochastic two-point boundary value problems driven by additive noises is studied. The existence of the solution of the homotopy equation is proved. Numerical schemes are constructed and error estimates are obtained. Numerical experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the homotopy continu- ation method over other commonly used methods such as the shooting method.

Current preventive treatment for recurrence after curative hepatectomy for liver metastases of colorectal carcinoma: A literature review of randomized control trials

To review the preventive approaches for recurrence after curative resection of hepatic metastases from colorectal carcinoma, we have summarized all available publications reporting randomized control trials (RCTs) covered in PubMed. The treatment approaches presented above include adjuvant intrahepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy, systemic chemotherapy, neoadjuvant chemotherapy, and immunotherapy. Although no standard treatment has been established, several approaches present promising results, which are both effective and tolerable in post-hepatectomy patients. Intrahepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy should be regarded as effective and tolerable and it increases overall survival (OS) and disease free survival (DFS) of patients, while 5-fluorouracil-based systemic chemotherapy has not shown any significant survival benefit. Fortunately chemotherapy combined with hepatic arterial infusion and intravenous infusion has shown OS and DFS benefit in many researches. Few neoadjuvant RCT studies have been conducted to evaluate its effect on prolonging survivals although many retrospective studies and case reports are published in which unresectable colorectal liver metastases are downstaged and made resectable with neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Liver resection supplemented with immunotherapy is associated with optimal results; however, it is also questioned by others. In conclusion, several adjuvant approaches have been studied for their efficacy on recurrence after hepatectomy for liver metastases from colorectal cancer (CRC), but multi-centric RCT is still needed for further evaluation on their efficacy and systemic or local toxicities. In addition, new adjuvant treatment should be investigated to provide more effective and tolerable methods for the patients with resectable hepatic metastases from CRC.

为提高二次虚回路故障精准度,提出对基于数字孪生技术的开关操作箱二次虚回路故障精准定位方法。根据当前的定位需求,先明确二次虚回路故障特征。然后采用多元件的方式,打破传统定位方法的覆盖范围限制,设计多元件自检告警BPA定位结构,并构建数字孪生开关操作箱二次虚回路故障定位模型,最终采用举证测验处理的方式来实现故障定位。测试结果表明:针对选定的6个测试区域,新方法的故障定位误动次数被控制在5以下,说明在数字孪生技术的辅助下,新方法更具有应用价值。

This paper aims to investigate sufficient conditions for the recovery of sparse signals via the orthogonal matching pursuit （OMP） algorithm. In the noiseless case, we present a novel sufficient condition for the exact recovery of all k-sparse signals by the OMP algorithm, and demonstrate that this condition is sharp. In the noisy case, a sufficient condition for recovering the support of k-sparse signal is also presented. Generally, the computation for the restricted isometry constant （RIC） in these sufficient conditions is typically difficult, therefore we provide a new condition which is not only computable but also sufficient for the exact recovery of all k-sparse signals.

The median follow-up of the malignant glioma patients who received surgical resection combined with radiochemotherapy is 16 months. The recurrence of malignant glioma is unavoidable. Although the patient with recurrent glioblastoma has multiple choices of therapy, the 5-year survival rate is still less than 5%, and the average survival time is less than 12 months. Currently, there is no single second-line drug can have survival benefits.

Type 2C protein phosphatases(PP2Cs)are the largest protein phosphatase ***2Cs dephosphorylate substrates for signaling in Arabidopsis,but the functions of most PP2 Cs remain ***,we characterized PP2 C49(AT3G62260,a Group G PP2C),which regulates Na^(+)distribution under salt stress and is localized to the cytoplasm and ***2C49 was highly expressed in root vascular tissues and its disruption enhanced plant tolerance to salt *** with wild type,the pp2c49 mutant contained more Na^(+)in roots but less Na^(+)in shoots and xylem sap,suggesting that PP2C49 regulates shoot Na^(+)*** grafting revealed a root-based mechanism underlying the salt tolerance of pp2 *** Na+distribution largely depends on AtHKT1;1 and loss of function of AtHKT1;1 in the pp2c49 background overrode the salt tolerance of pp2c49,resulting in salt ***,compared with plants overexpressing PP2C49 in the wild-type background,plants overexpressing PP2C49 in the athtk1;1 mutant background were sensitive to salt,like the athtk1;1 ***,protein-protein interaction and two-voltage clamping assays demonstrated that PP2C49 physically interacts with AtHKT1;1 and inhibits the Na^(+)permeability of AtHKT1;*** study reveals that PP2C49 negatively regulates AtHKT1;1 activity and thus determines systemic Na^(+)allocation during salt stress.

The inlet temperature of the Vacuum Gas Oil(VGO)hydrotreating reactor of a refinery is analyzed with the integration of multiple series reactors and hydrogen network *** effect of the inlet temperature(T1)on hydrogen sinks/sources and the product output is analyzed systematically based on the simulation of the series reactors,including VGO hydrotreating reactor,hydrocracking reactor,fluid catalytic cracking reactor and visbreaking *** general relation between the Hydrogen Utility Adjustment(HUA)and multiple pairs of varying sinks and sources is deduced,and correlations between varying streams and T1 are linearly *** on this,the quantitative equation between HUA and T1 is derived,and corresponding diagram is *** T1 corresponding the minimum hydrogen consumption is identified to be 345°C.

AIM: To establish the DNA methylation patterns of the promoter CpG islands of 14 'drug-resistance' genes in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).METHODS: The methylation specific polymerase chain reaction in conjunction with sequencing verification was used to establish the methylation patterns of the 14 genes in the liver tissues of four healthy liver donors, as well as tumor and the paired non-cancerous tissues of 30 HCC ***: While 11 genes (ATP-binding cassette, sub-family G (WHITE), member 2(ABCG2), activating transcription factor (ATF2), beta-2-microglobulin (B2M), deoxycytidine kinase(DCK, occludin (OCLN, v-raf-1 murine leukemia viral oncogene homolog (RAF/), ralA binding protein 1 (RALBP1),splicing factor (45 kD) (SPF45), S-phase kinase-associated protein 2 (p45) (SKP2), tumor protein p53 (Li-Fraumeni syndrome) (TP53) and topoisomerase (DNA) II beta (TOP2B) maintained the unmethylated patterns, three genes displayed to various extents the hypermethylation state in tumor tissues in comparison with the normal counterparts. The catalase (CAT) was hypermethylated in tumor and the neighboring non-cancerous tissue of one case (3.3%). Both glutathione S-transferase pi (GSTp/) (80%, 24/30 in tumor and 56.7%,17/30 in the paired non-cancerous tissues) and cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator, ATP-binding cassette (sub-family C, member 7) (CF-FR) (77%, 23/30 in tumor and 50%, 15/30 in the paired non-cancerous tissues) genes were prevalently hypermethylated in HCC as well as their neighboring non-cancerous tissues. No significant difference in the hypermethylation occurrence was observed between the HCC and its neighboring non-cancerous ***: Hypermethylation of promoter CpG islands of both CF-FR and GSTpigenes occurs prevalently in HCC,which may correlate with the low expression of these two genes at the mRNA level and has the profound etiological and clinical implications.
