Let(g_(n))_(n≥1) be a sequence of independent and identically distributed positive random d×d matrices and consider the matrix product G_(n)=g_(n)…g_*** suitable conditions,we establish the Berry-Esseen bounds on the rate of convergence in the central limit theorem and Cramer-type moderate deviation expansions,for any matrix norm ‖G_(n)‖ of G_(n),its entries G_(n)^(i,j) and its spectral radius ρ(G_(n)).Extended versions of their joint law with the direction of the random walk G_(n)x are also established,where x is a starting point in the unit sphere of R~d.

In recent years, various companies have started to shift their data services from traditional data centers to the cloud. One of the major motivations is to save on operational costs with the aid of cloud elasticity. This paper discusses an emerging need from financial services to reduce the incidence of idle servers retaining very few user connections, without disconnecting them from the server side. This paper considers this need as a bi-objective online load balancing problem. A neural network based scalable policy is designed to route user requests to varied numbers of servers for the required elasticity. An evolutionary multi-objective training framework is proposed to optimize the weights of the policy. Not only is the new objective of idleness reduced by over 130% more than traditional industrial solutions, but the original load balancing objective itself is also slightly improved. Extensive simulations with both synthetic and real-world data help reveal the detailed applicability of the proposed method to the emergent problem of reducing idleness in financial services.

Passive sampling technology has good application prospects for monitoring trace pollutants in aquatic *** research on the sampling mechanism of this technology is essential to improve the measurement accuracy and extend the application scope of this *** this study,adsorption and permeation experiments were performed to investigate the sorption and mass transfer properties of five chiral pharmaceuticals at the enantiomeric level on polyethersulfone(PES)and polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)membranes used in a polar organic chemical integrative *** adsorption experiments showed that the PES membrane had an adsorption phenomenon for most selected pollutants and an insignificant sorption behavior was observed for all selected pharmaceuticals on the PTFE membrane except for R(S)-*** diffusion coefficients of selected pharmaceuticals onto the PTFE membrane were approximately one order of magnitude higher than those onto the PES *** permeation experiment indicated that under different hydraulic conditions,the change of the relative pollutant concentration through the PTFE membrane for the composite pollutant system was more obvious than that for the single pollutant system,and mass transfer hysteresis exists for both contaminant systems through PES *** the first-order equation or 3-component model to estimate the overall mass transfer coefficients,the results showed that the overall mass transfer coefficient values of pollutants in the composite pollutant system onto both membranes were higher than those in the single pollutant *** parameter was mainly influenced by the synergistic effects of the multi-analyte interaction and diminished water boundary layers during the mass transfer process.

Rockburst is a frequently encountered hazard during the production of deep gold *** prediction of rockburst is an important measure to prevent rockburst in gold *** study considers seven indicators to evaluate rockburst at four deep gold *** research and rock tests were performed at two gold mines in China to collect these seven indicators and rockburst *** collected database was oversampled by the synthetic minority oversampling technique(SMOTE)to balance the categories of rockburst *** models combining tree-based models and logistic regression(LR)were established by the balanced *** datasets from another two deep gold mines were implemented to verify the applicability of the predictive *** stacking model combining extremely randomized trees and LR based on SMOTE(SMOTE-ERT-LR)was the best model,and it obtained a training accuracy of 100%and an evaluation accuracy of 100%.Moreover,model evaluation suggested that SMOTE can enhance the prediction performance for weak rockburst,thereby improving the overall ***,sensitivity analysis was performed for *** results indicated that the SMOTE-ERT-LR model can achieve satisfactory performance when only depth,maximum tangential stress index,and linear elastic energy index were available.

Designing microstructurally stable FeCrAl alloys with excellent strength-ductility synergy is highly desir-able for their engineering ***,due to the preference nucleation of precipitates at grain boundaries(GBs),the improved precipitation strengthening of these alloys is usually accompanied by in-tergranular ***,we propose a novel thermomechanical processing route coupled with the Si alloying strategy via precipitation of coherent deformable Laves precipitates inside equiaxed fine-grains to achieve FeCrAl alloys with ultrahigh yield strength over∼992 MPa,excellent uniform elongation of∼7.6%at room temperature,and superior thermal stability at temperature∼1200℃.The Si alloying not only decreases the stacking fault energy of Laves precipitates favorable for their stacking-fault-mediated deformation but also hinders grain coarsening at 1200℃due to the Si-enrichment favorable for GB pin-ning *** results prove the possibility of achieving the collaborative enhancement of mutually exclusive properties in alloys,such as strength-ductility-thermal stability via nanoprecipitation engineer-ing,and offer a promising route to prepare dispersion-strengthened materials.

We investigated the properties of the phase diagram of high-order susceptibilities, speed of sound, and polytropic index based on an extended Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model with an eight-quark scalar-vector interaction. Non-monotonic behavior was observed in all these quantities around the phase transition boundary, which also revealed the properties of the critical point. Further, this study indicated that the chiral phase transition boundary and critical point could vary depending on the scalar-vector coupling constant GSV\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$G_\text {SV}$$\end{document}. At finite densities and temperatures, the negative GSV\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$G_\text {SV}$$\end{document} term exhibited attractive interactions, which enhanced the critical point temperature and reduced the chemical potential. ObjectiveTo explore the regulatory effect of Pien Tze Huang (PZH) on targeting partner of NOB1 (PNO1) and it’s down-stream mediators in colorectal cancer (CRC) *** polymerase chain reaction was performed to determine mRNA levels of PNO1, TP53, and CDKN1A. Western blotting was performed to determine protein levels of PNO1, p53, and p21. HCT-8 cells were transduced with a lentivirus over-expressing PNO1. Colony formation assay was used to detect cell survival in PNO1 overexpression of HCT-8 cells after PZH treatment. Cell-cycle distribution, cell viability and cell apoptosis were performed to identify the effect of PNO1 overexpression on cell proliferation and apoptosis of HCT-8 cells after PZH treatment. Xenograft BALB/c nude mice bearing HCT116 cells transduced with sh-PNO1 or sh-Ctrl lentivirus were evaluated. Western blot assay was performed to detect PNO1, p53, p21 and PCNA expression in tumor sections. Terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick end labling (TUNEL) assay was used to determine the apoptotic cells in *** treatment decreased cell viability, down-regulated PNO1 expression, and up-regulated p53 and p21 expressions in HCT-8 cells (P<0.05). PNO1 overexpression attenuated the effects of PZH treatment, including the expression of p53 and p21, cell growth, cell viability, cell cycle arrest and cell apoptosis in vitro (P<0.05). PNO1 knockdown eliminated the effects of PZH treatment on tumor growth, inhibiting cell proliferation inhibition and apoptosis induction in vivo (P<0.05). Similarly, PNO1 knockdown attenuated the effects of PZH treatment on the down-regulation of PNO1 and up-regulation of p53 and p21 in vivo (P<0.05).ConclusionThe mechanism by which PZH induces its CRC anti-proliferative effect is at least in part by regulating the expression of PNO1 and its downstream targets p53 and p21.

Flooding is one of the most devastating natural disasters that affects communities *** early May 2023,catastrophic floods swept through Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo,leading to over 600 deaths and displacing *** climate change is supercharging extreme rainfall worldwide,similar floods could further *** developing regions with limited resources to build flood defenses,accurate flood forecasting with sufficient lead time is a cost-effective adaptation strategy to mitigate flood ***,the lack of ground measurements in these regions hinders our understanding of flood-generating mechanisms,thereby limiting our ability to build better models for improved flood forecasts.

A novel citric acid-modified chitosan gel(CSCA)was synthesized through a simple one-step process and was used to extract thorium ions from *** CSCA samples with varying chemical compositions were analyzed using SEM with mapping EDS,FT-IR,and static water contact angle measurements,and their adsorption behaviors were studied in *** results showed that the adsorption performance of CSCA improves with the increase of CA content in the *** possesses an impressive capacity for thorium adsorption of 279.8 mg/***,it showed an ultra-fast adsorption rate and reached equilibrium within 30 *** terms of recyclability,the CSCA still retained more than 86%of its initial adsorption capacity after 6 cycles of *** functional theory(DFT)analysis reveals that the good selectivity of this material towards thorium ions should be attributed to the high density of adsorption sites and strong interaction between carboxyl groups and thorium *** work could be beneficial in the design and synthesis of new polymer materials for extracting thorium.
