Universal paradigm of ternary metacomposites with tunable epsilon-negative and epsilon-near-zero response for perfect electromagnetic shielding

CaCu_(3)Ti_(4)O_(12)(CCTO)ceramic nanocomposites incorporating graphene–carbon black(GRCB)fillers were fabricated by spark plasma sintering *** percolative effects of conductive GRCB fillers on dielectric response of GRCB/CCTO ternary metacomposites were systematically *** weakly real permittivity(ε′)-negative response(ε′~−1×10^(2))was achieved which originated from weakly low-frequency plasmonic state of free carriers within constructed GRCB *** enhancing three-dimensional GRCB network,the plasma frequency of metacomposites increased while the damping factor ***,theε′-negative values of metacomposites were tuned from−10^(2) to−10^(4) orders of magnitude andε′-near-zero(ENZ)frequencies from~142 to~340 MHz which substantially benefited from the moderate carrier concentration of GRCB dual *** Drude model and equivalent circuit models were adopted to demonstrate dielectric and electrical *** obtained metacomposites show strong EM shielding effect along with enhanced plasmonic oscillation and even better achieving perfect EM shielding effect in ENZ *** work achieves the tunableε′-negative andε′-near-zero response and more importantly clarifies its regulation mechanism in ceramic-based ternary metacomposites,which opens up the possibility of designing high-performance EM shielding materials based on metacomposites.

Enhancing the tunneling magneto-Seebeck(TMS) ratio and uncovering its underlying mechanism are greatly demanded in spin *** magnitude and sign of the TMS effect depend on the type of atom and the stacking order of atoms at the ***,we demonstrate that TMS ratios can be effectively manipulated by altering heterogonous or homogeneous interface through decoration on the CoFeSi(001) surface inserted on the MgO insulating *** maximum TMS ratio of pure Co_(2)/O termination is 4565% at 800 ***,the TMS ratio of the FeSi/O termination has two peak values,of which the maximum could reach up to-3290% at 650 *** comparing two different atom arrangements at the interface,we reveal that the sign and symbol of the TMS ratio can be controlled by the temperature and different atomic configurations at the Co_(2)FeSi/MgO ***,the spin-Seebeck coefficient up to ~150 μV/K is also possible when we select suitable terminations and *** findings will provide useful insights into how to control the sign and symbol of the TMS ratio and accordingly stimulate the development field of magneto-thermoelectric power and spin caloritronic devices based on the magneto-Seebeck effect in Heusler-based metallic multilayers.

Rapid lithium-ion insertion/extraction and migration behavior of Na_(2)WO_(4)-encapsulated lithium-rich layered oxide cathode

Due to the low cost,high working voltage and high storage capacity,Li-rich Mn-based layered compounds show promise as the cathode materials for lithiumion batteries(LIBs).However,the side reactions at the solid-liquid interface of the cathode will lead to rapid capacity decay and inferior rate ***,this article proposes a liquid-phase dispersion strategy to introduce a Na_(2)WO_(4)layer on the Li_(1.2)Ni_(0.13)-Co_(0.13)Mn_(0.54)O_(2) cathode,which can reduce the side effects between raw materials and electrolyte and promote the insertion/extraction rate of Li^(+),thus enhancing the material stability and rate *** a result,the capacity retention rate is 96.9%after 200 cycles under ***,the capacities are 177.5,149.5,111.1 and58.3 mAh·g^(-1)at 1C,2C,5C and 10C,implying a superior fast charging *** exceptional performance can be ascribed to both the increased conductivity and enhanced structural stability of the cathode ***'s more,based on the investigation of ion insertion/extraction behavior in electrode materials and the ion migration kinetics in the electrolyte,this study suggests that coating Li-rich Mn-based materials with Na_(2)WO_(4)can be a promising strategy to improve their performance in LIBs.

Due to the typical intercalation-deintercalation mechanism,TiO_(2) holds great promise as a sustainable anode for next-generation lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).However,commercial TiO_(2)(C–TiO_(2))is granular and shows slow ionic conductivity,which greatly hinders its development due to sluggish kinetics,leading to low reversible capacity and inferior rate *** this study,a two-dimensional layered TiO_(2)(L-TiO_(2))anode is prepared via a one-step calcination process,which can effectively shorten the lithium ions diffusion path and improve its lithium ions *** elucidated the enhanced electrochemical performance of L-TiO_(2) as an anode in LIBs through pseudocapacitive acceleration of lithium ions intercalation and deintercalation using various characterization techniques,including different scan rate cyclic voltammetry tests,in situ electrochemical impedance spectroscopy,in situ Raman spectroscopy,and in situ X-ray *** comparison to C–TiO_(2) material,L-TiO_(2) material showcases remarkable electrochemical performance,achieving a capacity of 166 mAh/g after 100 cycles at 0.1 ***,the lithium-ion diffusion coefficient calculated for the L-TiO_(2) is two orders of magnitude greater,underscoring its potential as a negative electrode material for LIBs.

We study the local quantum Fisher information(LQFI)in the mixed-spin Heisenberg XXZ *** the maximal and minimal LQFI are studied and the former is essential to determine the accuracy of the quantum parameter estimation,the latter can be well used to characterize the discord-type quantum *** investigate the effects of the temperature and the anisotropy parameter on the maximal LQFI and thus on the accuracy of the parameter *** we make use of the minimal LQFI to study the discord-type correlations of different site *** dimensions of the subsystems cause different values of the minimal LQFI which reflects the asymmetry of the discord-type *** addition,the site pairs at different positions of the spin chains have different minimal LQFI,which reveals the influence of the surrounding spins on the bipartite quantum *** results show that the LQFI obtained through a simple calculation process provides a convenient way to investigate the discord-type correlation in high-dimensional systems.

Predictive value of red blood cell distribution width and hematocrit for short-term outcomes and prognosis in colorectal cancer patients undergoing radical surgery

Tumor recurrence and survival prognosis in patients with advanced gastric cancer after radical resection with radiotherapy and chemotherapy

Owing to its high production volume and wide range of application s,polyethylene has gained a great deal of attention,but its low surface energy and non-polar nature have limited its application in some important *** this study,ethylene/11-iodo-1-undecene copolymers were prepared and used as the intermediates to afford a series of imidazolium-based ionomers bearing methanesulfonate(CH_(3)SO_(3)^(-)),trifluoromethanesulfonate(CF_(3)SO_(3)^(-)),or bis(trifluoromethane)sulfonimide(Tf_(2)N^(-))*** tensile test results showed that the stress-at-break(7.8-25.6 MPa)and the elongation-at-break(445%-847%)of the ionomers could be adjusted by changing the counterion species and the ionic group *** importantly,the ionomers exhibited marvelous antibacterial activities against Staphylococcus aureus(***)and Escherichia coli(***).The ionomers bearing Tf_(2)N^(-)exhibited antibacterial activities>99%against both *** and *** when ionic content reached 9.1%.The imidazolium-based ionomers prepared in this work demonstrated excellent comprehensive properties,especially highefficient and broad-spectrum antibacterial ability,exhibiting the potential fo r the application as the antibacterial materials in packaging,medical,and other fields.

Spatial patterns and driving forces of urban vegetation greenness in China:A case study comprising 289 cities

Urban vegetation in China has changed substantially in recent decades due to rapid urbanization and dramatic climate ***,the spatial differentiation of greenness among major cities of China and its evolution process and drivers are still poorly *** study examined the spatial patterns of vegetation greenness across 289 cities in China in 2000,2005,2010,2015,and 2018 by using spatial autocorrelation analysis on the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI);then,the influencing factors were analyzed by using the optimal parameters-based geographical detector(OPGD)model and 18 natural and anthropogenic *** findings demonstrated a noticeable rise in the overall greenness of the selected cities during *** cities in northwest China and east China exhibited the rapidest and slowest greening,respectively,among the six sub-regions.A significant positive spatial correlation was detected between the greenness of the 289 cities in different periods,but the correlation strength weakened over *** hot and very hot spots in southern and eastern China gradually shifted to the *** the spatial pattern of urban greenness in China is primarily influenced by wind speed(WS)and precipitation(PRE),the interaction between PRE and gross domestic product(GDP)has the highest explanatory *** explanatory power of most natural factors decreased and,conversely,the influence of anthropogenic factors generally *** findings emphasize the variations in the influence strength of multiple factors on urban greenness pattern,which should be taken into account to understand and adapt to the changing urban ecosystem.

Molecular surface functionalization of In_(2)O_(3) to tune interfacial microenvironment for enhanced catalytic performance of CO_(2) electroreduction

Indium-based materials(e.g.,In_(2)O_(3))are a class of promising non-noble metal-based catalysts for electroreduction of carbon dioxide(CO_(2)).However,competitive hydrogen reduction reaction(HER)on indium-based catalysts hampers CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)*** herein tune the interfacial microenvironment of In_(2)O_(3) through chemical graft of alkyl phosphoric acid molecules using a facile solution-processed strategy for the first time,which is distinguished from other researches that tailor intrinsic activity of In_(2)O_(3) *** surface functionalization of alkyl phosphoric acids over In_(2)O_(3) is demonstrated to remarkably boost CO_(2) *** example,octadecylphosphonic acid modified In_(2)O_(3) exhibits Faraday efficiency for H_(2) H_(2) H_(2)(FE)of as low as 6.6%and FEHCOOH of 86.5%at-0.67 V ***,which are far superior to parent In_(2)O_(3) counterparts(FE of 24.0%and FEHCOOH of 63.1%).Moreover,the enhancing effect of alkyl phosphoric acid functionalization is found to be closely related to the length of alkyl *** virtue of comprehensive experimental characterizations and molecular dynamics simulations,it is revealed that the modification of alkyl phosphoric acids significantly alters the interface microenvironment of the electrocatalyst,which changes the electrocatalyst surface from hydrophilic and aerophobic to hydrophobic and *** this case,the water molecules are pushed away and more CO_(2) molecules are trapped,increasing local CO_(2) concentration at In_(2)O_(3) active sites,thus leading to the significantly enhanced CO_(2)RR and suppressed *** work highlights the importance of regulating the interfacial microenvironment of inorganic catalysts by molecular surface functionalization as a means for promoting the electrochemical performance in electrosynthesis and beyond.
