Antarctic trace metal records provide important information for grasping the influence of human activities on the environment over the last *** CA2016-75 ice core is located along the East Antarctic zhongshan Station-Dome A,enhances the record of metals research in the East Antarctic region,and its high-resolution supplies data support for the study of high-frequency climatic drivers and the effect of human activities on the Antarctic environment.A thorough dataset on seven trace metals(Al,Fe,Mn,Cu,zn,Ba and Pb)in a coastal ice core in eastern Antarctica during the previous 102 years(1915-2016)is presented in this *** has the lowest concentration(9.51±20.95 pg g^(-1)),and Ba has the highest concentration(36.57±51.35 ng g^(-1)).Notable variations are observed between the pre-1968 AD and post-1968 AD phases for Mn,zn and *** abrupt,remarkable increase in the concentrations coincided with the change of metal smelting production in the southern *** addition to this,it may also be related to local Antarctic scientific research *** and Fe,the primary crustal elements,are essentially obtained from soil dust;Cu shows high crustal enrichment factors(EFc,>10),indicating that it is notably affected by anthropogenic ***,the anthropogenic activities in the Southern Hemisphere have had an impact on lead deposition in *** study not only enriches the trace metal historical record along the zhongshan Station-Dome A but also provides a high-resolution ice core record,which is very crucial for the reconstruction of trace metal concentration changes in the last 100 years.

Clinicopathological significance and immunotherapeutic outcome of claudin 18.2 expression in advanced gastric cancer:A retrospective study

Objective: Immunotherapeutic outcomes and clinical characteristics of claudin 18 isoform 2 positive(CLDN18.2-positive) gastric cancer(GC) vary in different clinical studies, making it difficult to optimize antiCLDN18.2 therapy. We conducted a retrospective analysis to explore the association of CLDN18.2 expression with clinicopathological characteristics and immunotherapeutic outcomes in ***: A total of 536 advanced GC patients from 2019 to 2021 in the CT041-CG4006 and CT041-ST-01clinical trials were included in the analysis. CLDN18.2 expression on ≥40% of tumor cells(2+, 40%) and CLDN18.2 expression on ≥70% of tumor cells(2+, 70%) were considered the two levels of positively expressed GC. The clinicopathological characteristics and immunotherapy outcomes of GC patients were analyzed according to CLDN18.2 expression ***: CLDN18.2 was expressed in 57.6%(cut-off: 2+, 40%) and 48.9%(cut-off: 2+, 70%) of *** death-ligand 1(PD-L1) and CLDN18.2 were co-expressed in 19.8% [combined positive score(CPS)≥1, CLDN18.2(cut-off: 2+, 40%)] and 17.2% [CPS≥5, CLDN18.2(cut-off: 2+, 70%)] of ***18.2 expression positively correlated with younger age, female sex, non-gastroesophageal junction(nongEJ), and diffuse phenotype(P<0.001). HER2 and PD-L1 expression were significantly lower in CLDN18.2-positive GC(both P<0.05). Uterine adnexa metastasis(P<0.001) was more frequent and liver metastasis(P<0.001)was less common in CLDN18.2-positive GC. Overall survival and immunotherapy-related progression-free survival(ir PFS) were inferior in the CLDN18.2-positive ***: CLDN18.2-positive GC is associated with poor prognosis and worse immunotherapeutic outcomes. The combination of anti-CLDN18.2 therapy, anti-PD-L1/PD-1 therapy, and chemotherapy for GC requires further investigation.

Cell-free RNA(cf RNA) allows assessment of health, status, and phenotype of a variety of human organs and is a potential biomarker to non-invasively diagnose numerous diseases. Nevertheless, there is a lack of highly efficient and bias-free cf RNA isolation technologies due to the low abundance and instability of cf ***, we developed a reproducible and high-efficiency isolation technology for different types of cell-free nucleic acids(containing cf RNA and viral RNA) in serum/plasma based on the inclusion of nucleic acids by metal-organic framework(MOF) materials, which greatly improved the isolation efficiency and was able to preserve RNA integrity compared with the most widely used research kit method. Importantly, the quality of cf RNA extracted by the MOF method is about 10-fold that of the kit method, and the MOF method isolates more than three times as many different RNA types as the kit method. The whole transcriptome mapping characteristics of cf RNA in serum from patients with liver cancer was described and a cf RNA signature with six cf RNAs was identified to diagnose liver cancer with high diagnostic efficiency(area under curve = 0.905 in the independent validation cohort) using this MOF method. Thus, this new MOF isolation technique will advance the field of liquid biopsy, with the potential to diagnose liver cancer.

目前在复合地基的设计中,由于采用桩体压缩模量计算得到的复合压缩模量偏大,造成复合地基加固区沉降被低估;另外桩和桩间土承载力发挥系数取值主观性较强,导致复合地基承载力计算结果偏大。针对上述两个问题,从复合地基形成机理出发,指出桩及桩间土共同直接承担荷载时必须保证桩土变形协调。桩土变形协调的条件是:(1)桩刺入垫层的深度不能超过垫层厚度;(2)桩宜设置为摩擦桩。在此前提下,分别计算桩及桩间土的沉降,利用桩土变形协调方法得到了桩土应力比和承载力发挥系数理论值,进而得到加固区的沉降计算方法。工程算例证实,从保证复合地基有效设计和工程安全的角度出发,应该根据桩土变形协调来进行复合地基设计计算。

Ultrasensitive photoelectric detection of nitrogen dioxide （NO） with PHI under visible light irradiation at room tempera-ture （RT） remains an ongoing challenge due to the low charge separation and scarce adsorption *** this work,dimensionally matched ultrathin CoNiHHTP MOF/PHI z-Scheme heterojunction is successfully constructed by taking advantage of theπ-πinteractions existing between CoNiHHTP MOF and *** amountoptimized heterojunction possesses a record detection limitation of 1 ppb （Response=15.6%）for NO under 405 nm irradiation at RT,with reduced responsive （3.6 min） and recovery times （2.7 min）,good selectivity and reversibility,and long-time stability （150 days）compared with PHI,even superior to others reported at *** on the time-resolved photoluminescence spectra,in situ X-ray photoelectron spectra and DRIFTS results,the resulting sensing performance is attributed to the favorable z-scheme charge transfer and ***,the Ni-nodes favorably present in adjacent metal sites between the lamellae contribute to charge transfer and redistribution,whereas Co-nodes could act as the selective centers for promoted adsorption of ***,it is confirmed that the CoNiHHTP MOF/PHI heterojunction could effectively reduce the influence of O in gas sensitive reaction due to their unique bimetallic （Co,Ni） nodes,which is also favorable for the im-proved sensing performances for *** work provides a feasible strategy to develop promising PHI-based optoelectronic gas sensor at RT.

Bats are the natural reservoir hosts for SARS-related coronavirus(SARSr-CoV)and other highly pathogenic ***,it is conceivable that an individual bat may harbor multiple ***,there is limited knowledge on the overall co-circulation of microorganisms in ***,we conducted a 16-year monitoring of bat viruses in south and central China and identified 238 SARSr-CoV positive samples across nine bat species from ten provinces or administrative *** these,76 individual samples were selected for further metagenomics *** found a complex microenvironment characterized by the general cocirculation of microbes from two different sources:mammal-associated viruses or environment-associated *** later includes commensal bacteria,enterobacteria-related phages,and insect or fungal viruses of food *** showed that 25%(19/76)of the samples contained at least one another mammal-associated virus,notably alphacoronaviruses(13/76)such as AlphaCoV/YN2012,HKU2-related CoV and AlphaCoV/Rf-HuB2013,along with viruses from other ***,we observed three viruses co-circulating within a single bat,comprising two coronavirus species and one *** analysis also revealed the potential presence of pathogenic bacteria or fungi in ***,we obtained 25 viral genomes from the 76 bat SARSr-CoV positive samples,some of which formed new evolutionary ***,our study reveals the complex microenvironment of bat microbiome,facilitating deeper investigations into their pathogenic potential and the likelihood of cross-species transmission.
