This paper presents, for the first time, an effective numerical approach based on the isogeometric analysis(IGA) and the six-variable quasi-three dimensional(3D)higher-order shear deformation theory(HSDT) to study the free vibration characteristics of functionally-graded(FG) graphene origami(GOri)-enabled auxetic metamaterial(GOEAM) plates submerged in a fluid medium. The plate theory incorporates the thickness stretching and the effects of transverse shear deformation without using any shear correction factors. The velocity potential function and Bernoulli's equation are used to derive the hydrodynamic pressure acting on the plate surface. Both horizontally and vertically immersed plate configurations are considered here in the form of inertia *** plates are composed of multilayer GOEAMs, with the GOri content varying through the plate's thickness in a layer-wise manner. This design results in graded auxetic *** material properties are evaluated by mixing rules and a genetic programming(GP)-assisted micromechanical model. The governing equations of motion for the FG-GOEAM plates immersed in a fluid medium are derived by Hamilton's principle. After validating the convergence and accuracy of the present model, a comprehensive parametric study is carried out to examine the effects of the GOri content, GOri distribution pattern, GOri folding degree, fluid level, immersed depth, and geometric parameter on the natural frequencies of the FG-GOEAM plates. The results show that the natural frequencies for the four GOri distribution patterns increase with the increase in the layer number when the lay number is fewer than 10, and then stabilize after the layer number reaches ***, in general, the natural frequency of the FG-GOEAM plate in a vacuum or fluid increases when the GOri content increases, while decreases when the GOri folding degree increases. Due to the probability characteristics of quantum mechanism, the combination of quantum mechanism and intelligent algorithm has received wide attention. Quantum dynamics theory uses the Schr?dinger equation as a quantum dynamics equation. Through three approximation of the objective function, quantum dynamics framework(QDF) is obtained which describes basic iterative operations of optimization algorithms. Based on QDF, this paper proposes a potential barrier estimation(PBE) method which originates from quantum mechanism. With the proposed method, the particle can accept inferior solutions during the sampling process according to a probability which is subject to the quantum tunneling effect, to improve the global search capacity of optimization *** effectiveness of the proposed method in the ability of escaping local minima was thoroughly investigated through double well function(DWF), and experiments on two benchmark functions sets show that this method significantly improves the optimization performance of high dimensional complex functions. The PBE method is quantized and easily transplanted to other algorithms to achieve high performance in the future.

Layered rare-earth metal oxides,harnessing the dual properties of oxides and two-dimensional layered materials,exhibit remarkable thermal stability and quantum confinement ***,this work adopts the first-principles calculation combined with the Boltzmann transport theory to predict the thermoelectric properties of NdZnSbO *** coexistence of weak interlayer van der Waals interactions,robust intralayer ionic bonding,and partial covalent bonding leads to remarkable bonding heterogeneity,which engenders pronounced phonon scattering and imposes constraints on thermal transport along the out-of-plane *** weakened chemical bonds induced by the antibonding states,together with the rattling-like behavior of the Zn atom,culminate in the profound anharmonicity in the layered NdZnSbO *** weakening bond and heavy element contribute to the softness of phonon modes,which significantly diminishes the phonon group *** redistribution-dominated four-phonon scattering process spans a large optical gap,which effectively reduces the lattice thermal *** NdZnSbO compound exhibits direct semiconductor characteristic with a bandgap of 0.73 e V by adopting the Heyd-Scuseria-Ernzerhof(HSE06)functional in combination with spin–orbit coupling(SOC)*** multi-valley feature of NdZnSbO compound augur favorably for band degeneracy,thus amplifying the power ***,an optimal figure-of-merit(ZT)of 3.40 at 900 K is achieved for the n-type NdZnSbO *** present study delves deeply insights into the origins for the low thermal conductivity of NdZnSbO compound and proposes an optimization scheme to enhance overall thermoelectric performance.

The Ninety-East Ridge(NER)is located in the semioceanic to oceanic region of the southern Bengal Fan in the Northeast Indian *** sedimentary environment,ocean currents,and scientific issues related to climate change have always been the focus of *** well understand the sedimentary environment of the sea area,we studied the modern sedimentary environment of the NER by analyzing the redox-sensitive trace elements(RSEs)and biomarkers in the surface sediments of the northern region and both sides of the NER and the mechanism of their *** ratios of Mo/U(average 2.22),(Cu+Mo)/Zn(average 1.51),and the results ofδCe<1 of the sediment samples,all indicate the reduction of the sedimentary *** addition,the ratio of pristane(Pr)to phytane(Ph),C30diahopane to C30 hopane,and diasterane to sterane were low in all samples,on average of 1.03,0.9,and 0.33,*** analysis of RSE and biomarker data revealed that the sedimentary environment on seabed of the NER is generally a rare low-oxygen reduction *** the analysis of sediment characteristics,material sources,and ocean currents,we preliminarily constructed a genetic model for the low-oxygen reducing environment of surface sediments in the *** believe that the low-oxygen reduction environment of surface sediment in the NER could be influenced by multiple factors,such as terrestrial input of materials,productivity at sea surface,and sediment particle size.

Previous studies have revealed that typhoons can affect the ionosphere. This paper uses GNSS observations provided by GNSS tracking stations of Taiwan region, ERA5 gravity wave dissipation products,and Himawari-8 band 07 brightness temperature observation data to analyze the impact of Typhoon Meranti on Taiwan region's ionosphere from September 13 to 15, 2016. In addition to the daily effects of traveling ionospheric disturbances(TIDs), TIDs of various intensities caused by Meranti-induced gravity waves were observed during this period, which is inseparable from the state of the typhoon and the topographic features during its progress. The ionospheric disturbance caused by the edge of a typhoon is usually larger than that at the typhoon eye. When the typhoon approached Taiwan region with high intensity on September 14, it was observed that the gravity waves caused by the typhoon had a wavelength of about 174-293 km, a period of 13.5-23.5 min, and a propagation speed of 142-302 m/s. When the vortex structure of a typhoon interacts with complex surfaces such as mountains, it is easier to excite more medium-scale gravity waves. The origin that excites gravity waves and causes ionospheric anomalies is different from the location of the typhoon eye and changes over time. The gravity waves caused by the typhoon lasted for three days in the central mountains of Taiwan region. Still, background wind conditions restricted the propagation of gravity waves from the mesosphere to the thermosphere and led to TID predominantly concentrated between 06:00 and 13:00 UT each day.

Spatial Evolution Characteristics and Influencing Factors of Urban Green Innovation in China

Cities are important carriers of green innovation. The foundation for accelerating China's ecological civilization construction and fostering regionally coordinated and sustainable development is quantitative analysis of the spatial evolution pattern and influencing factors of urban green innovation, as well as revealing the development differences between regions. This study's research object includes 284 Chinese cities that are at the prefecture level or above, excluding Xizang, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan of China due to incomplete data. The spatial evolution characteristics of urban green innovation in China between 2005 and 2021 are comprehensively described using the gravity center model and boxplot analysis. The factors that affect urban green innovation are examined using the spatial Durbin model(SDM). The findings indicate that: 1) over the period of the study, the gravity center of urban green innovation in China has always been distributed in the Henan-Anhui border region, showing a migration characteristic of ‘initially shifting northeast,subsequently southeast', and the migration speed has gradually increased. 2) Although there are also noticeable disparities in east-west,the north-south gap is the main cause of the shift in China's urban green innovation gravity center. The primary areas of urban green innovation in China are the cities with green innovation levels higher than the median. 3) The main influencing factor of urban green innovation is the industrial structure level. The effect of the financial development level, the government intervention level, and the openness to the outside world degree on urban green innovation is weakened in turn. The environmental regulation degree is not truly influencing urban green innovation. The impact of various factors on green innovation across cities of different sizes, exhibiting heterogeneity. CMOS Temperature Sensors: From Module Design to System Design

In a smart complementary metal-oxide semiconductor(CMOS) temperature sensor, the temperature information is converted to an electrical signal, such as voltage, current, or time delay, and then it is digitized by an analog-to-digital converter. Instead of categorizing sensors according to their sensing elements, this work introduces different CMOS temperature sensors based on their signal processing domains of the readout circuits. To design a suitable sensor for a specific application, two general design methodologies are also introduced with state-of-the-art examples. Depending on the applications, the corresponding types of the sensor and design methodology can be chosen to optimize the performance.
