Fabrication of Molecularly Imprinted Electrospun Nanofibers with Mono-amidoxime Functional Ligand for Efficient Decontamination of Toxic Organophosphates

There is an urgent imperative to discover practical and efficacious artificial catalysts for the expeditious decontamination of toxic organophosphates. Herein, we propose a novel molecularly imprinted approach utilizing electrospun fiber scaffolds. Specifically, an amidoxime-based functional polymer (PMAOX) has been synthesized, which contains amidoxime groups that can act as nucleophiles and ligands for the formation of catalytic active sites. This polymer was blended with polyacrylonitrile (PAN), a well-processable material, to prepare a nanofiber mat using electrospinning techniques. Then, the amidoxime side groups on fiber surface were further cross-linked after the molecular coordination of templates to complete the molecularly imprinting process. This approach can not only enhance the content of functional molecularly imprinted polymers without affecting structural stability, but also combines surface MI technology to fully expose and leverage the advantages of active sites. The as prepared molecularly imprinted electrospun nanofibers MIF-Zn-PMAOX/PAN-6/4 catalyzes the degradation of paraoxon with a half-life of 32 min, and MIF-Ag-PMAOX/PAN catalyzes the degradation of parathion with a half-life of 18 min. The maximum catalytic rate evidence rate enhancements nearly 3700-fold of the self-hydrolysis. Thus, the mono-amidoxime based molecularly imprinted fibers demonstrate the versatility and superiority as self-detoxifying for organophosphates.

Precipitation evolution and properties of Cu-15Ni-8Sn alloys via Al microalloying during ageing

Studies have shown that microalloying Cu-Ni-Sn alloys using Al inhibits discontinuous precipitation reactions;however,the mechanism has not been investigated ***,this study explored the properties and precipitation evolution of Cu-15Ni-8Sn alloys without and with 1 wt%Al（Cu-15Ni-8Sn-1Al） during ageing at 500℃ through X-ray diffraction （XRD）,scanning electron microscopy and high-angle annular dark-field scanning transmission electron *** results revealed that in Cu-15Ni-8Sn alloy,DO22ordering first occurred after spinodal decomposition,subsequently transitioning to an L12ordering phase,during which the discontinuous precipitates gradually nucleated at the grain boundaries and formed *** alloy hardness increased sharply with ordering and then decreased rapidly after reaching its peak value,due to the dominance of the discontinuous precipitation ***,the DO22ordered phase did not appear during the ageing of Cu-15Ni-8Sn-1Al alloy,and a Ni3(Alx,Sn1-x) intermetallic compound with L12structure was formed,consuming Ni and Sn atoms,thereby significantly suppressing the discontinuous precipitation reaction and improving the stability during prolonged *** tensile strength （yield strength） of Cu-15Ni-8Sn and Cu-15Ni-8Sn-1Al alloys at peak hardness were 855 （755） and 936 MPa （892 MPa）,respectively,and their main strengthening mechanisms were solid solution strengthening and precipitation *** addition of 1 wt% Al effectively improved the precipitation strengthening effect of Cu-Ni-Sn alloys but severely decreased the ductility.

In this paper,a feature interactive bi-temporal change detection network(FIBTNet)is designed to solve the problem of pseudo change in remote sensing image building change *** network improves the accuracy of change detection through bi-temporal feature *** designs a bi-temporal feature exchange architecture(EXA)and a bi-temporal difference extraction architecture(DFA).EXA improves the feature exchange ability of the model encoding process through multiple space,channel or hybrid feature exchange methods,while DFA uses the change residual(CR)module to improve the ability of the model decoding process to extract different features at multiple ***,at the junction of encoder and decoder,channel exchange is combined with the CR module to achieve an adaptive channel exchange,which further improves the decision-making performance of model feature *** results on the LEVIR-CD and S2Looking datasets demonstrate that iCDNet achieves superior F1 scores,Intersection over Union(IoU),and Recall compared to mainstream building change detectionmodels,confirming its effectiveness and superiority in the field of remote sensing image change detection.

Experimental and first-principles calculation of TiN growth mechanism on CeAlO_(3) surface in steel

Regular TiN is harmful to the toughness of steel,and its shape and size need to be *** the behavior of TiN precipitation on CeAlO_(3) surfaces is critical for controlling the morphology and formation process of CeAlO_(3)–TiN composite inclusions in the *** results showed that TiN had a square morphology on the CeAlO3 surface,and electron backscatter diffraction phase identification results revealed the orientation relationship between CeAlO_(3) and TiN as follows:(001)_(CeAlO_(3))//(110)_(TiN),(100)_(CeAlO_(3))/(001)_(TiN),and[010]_(CeAlO_(3))/[110]_(TiN).The CeAlO3 crystal structure was studied using the first-principles calculation method,and the adsorption and growth process of TiN on the CeAlO_(3) surface were investigated from the atomic *** calculation results indicate that there is no metallic bonding present in the CeAlO_(3) *** the low-index crystal planes of CeAlO_(3),the(110)planes terminated with O and CeAlO have the highest and lowest surface energies,respectively,with values of 0.373 and 0.051 eV/Å^(2).On the high surface energy plane of CeAlO_(3),the TiN atomic permutation structure is consistent with the arrangement of Ti and N atoms in TiN(100)or(110).For the low surface energy plane of CeAlO_(3),the Ti and N atoms are arranged in a ring-like structure.

The volume fractions and morphology of precipitates in precipitation-strengthened Cu-Ti alloys,which precipitate mainly as continuous and discontinuous precipitates,are important for the application of the *** study employed hardness and electrical conductivity tests transmission electron microscopy(TEM),atom probe tomography(APT),and first-principles calculations to demonstrate that the addition of Mg is effective for accelerating nanosized continuousβ'-Cu_(4)Ti precipitation as well as for suppressing the precipitation of coarse lamellar discontinuousβ-Cu_(4)Ti precipitates along the grain boundaries,resulting in Cu-Ti alloys with high yield strength and good electrical *** results showed that the continuous precipitation ofβ'-Cu_(4)Ti was accelerated by the Mg additions,which reduced the supersaturation of the matrix,thereby reducing the chemical driving force for the discontinuous *** the other hand,Mg additions increased the mismatch between the discontinuousβ-Cu_(4)Ti precipitates and matrix decreased the nucleation rate of the discontinuous precipitates,and increased the spacing of the discontinuous precipitation layer,resulting in a lower growth rate of the discontinuous ***,the addition of Mg to Cu-Ti alloys enhances the strength and improves the resistance to over-ageing.

In vivo imaging reveals a synchronized correlation among neurotransmitter dynamics during propofol and sevoflurane anesthesia

General anesthesia is widely applied in clinical ***,the precise mechanism of loss of consciousness induced by general anesthetics remains ***,we measured the dynamics of five neurotransmitters,includingγ-aminobutyric acid,glutamate,norepinephrine,acetylcholine,and dopamine,in the medial prefrontal cortex and primary visual cortex of C57BL/6 mice through in vivo fiber photometry and genetically encoded neurotransmitter sensors under anesthesia to reveal the mechanism of general anesthesia from a neurotransmitter *** revealed that the concentrations of γ-aminobutyric acid,glutamate,norepinephrine,and acetylcholine increased in the cortex during propofol-induced loss of *** levels did not change following the hypnotic dose of propofol but increased significantly following surgical doses of propofol ***,the concentrations of the five neurotransmitters generally decreased during sevoflurane-induced loss of ***,the neurotransmitter dynamic networks were not synchronized in the non-anesthesia groups but were highly synchronized in the anesthetic *** findings suggest that neurotransmitter dynamic network synchronization may cause anesthetic-induced loss of consciousness.

Here,we present a unique method to enhance the low-frequency absorption performance of a honeycomb absorber by integrating a *** geometrical dimensions of the proposed metasurface have been numerically *** introduction of the metasurface allows exploitation of its robust resonance and superior impedance matching in low-frequency bands,thereby improving microwave absorption *** incorporation of the metasurface does not impact the wave transmission performance of the honeycomb core absorber at high-frequency band,thus preserving its high-frequency *** broadens the absorption range,leading to an expanded *** results reveal that the composite absorber(CA)exhibits strong absorption performance with an incident angle stability up to 45°for both transverse electric(TE)and transverse magnetic(TM)*** absorption mechanism of the CA has been investigated by using an equivalent circuit model and electromagnetic field analysis.A prototype was designed,fabricated,and tested to validate the proposed *** simulation and measurement results demonstrate that the prototype can achieve an average absorption rate exceeding 90%across a 1.0-18.0 GHz *** study introduces an innovative technique for creating microwave absorbers for low-frequency wideband applications.

Objective:The aim of this study was to explore the effects of Babao dan(BBD),a traditional Chinese medicine,on gastric cancer(GC)progression in *** and Methods:A subcutaneous xenograft mouse model of GC was established using MGC80-3 *** terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP:2'-deoxyuridine 5'-triphosphate-biotin nick-end labeling method was adopted to detect cell apoptosis in *** expression levels of proteins associated with proliferation,apoptosis,and angiogenesis were measured by immunohistochemical staining or western blotting(WB).The activation and protein levels of p-c-jun N-terminal kinase(JNK),p-p38,p-extracellular-regulated kinase 1/2,p-nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB),and p-STAT3 were examined by Bio-plex and ***:BBD significantly inhibited tumor growth in GC mouse models with no adverse effect on body weight or organ *** was also found that BBD significantly suppressed the proliferation of GC tumor cells,induced the apoptosis of tumor cells,and inhibited angiogenesis through inactivating with mitogen-activated protein kinase,NF-κB,and STAT3 ***:BBD exerts suppressive effects on GC tumor growth by regulating multiple pathways in vivo,which may provide a novel treatment option for GC therapy.

Pectin methylesterase inhibitors GhPMEI53 and AtPMEI19 improve seed germination by modulating cell wall plasticity in cotton and Arabidopsis

The germination process of seeds is influenced by the interplay between two opposing factors,pectin methylesterase(PME)and pectin methylesterase inhibitor(PMEI),which collectively regulate patterns of pectin *** the recognized importance of pectin methylesterification in seed germination,the specific mechanisms that govern this process remain *** this study,we demonstrated that the overexpression of GhPMEI53is associated with a decrease in PME activity and an increase in pectin *** leads to seed cell wall softening,which positively regulates cotton seed ***19,the homologue in Arabidopsis thaliana,plays a similar role in seed germination to GhPMEI53,indicating a conserved function and mechanism of PMEI in seed germination *** studies revealed that GhPMEI53 and AtPMEI19 directly contribute to promoting radicle protrusion and seed germination by inducing cell wall softening and reducing mechanical ***,the pathways of abscicic acid(ABA)and gibberellin(GA)in the transgenic materials showed significant changes,suggesting that GhPMEI53/AtPMEI19-mediated pectin methylesterification serves as a regulatory signal for the related phytohormones involved in seed *** summary,GhPMEI53 and its homologs alter the mechanical properties of cell walls,which influence the mechanical resistance of the endosperm or ***,they impact cellular phytohormone pathways(e.g.,ABA and GA)to regulate seed *** findings enhance our understanding of pectin methylesterification in cellular morphological dynamics and signaling transduction,and contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of the PME/PMEI gene superfamily in plants.
