Existing studies contend that latent heating(LH)will replace sensible heating(SH)to become the dominant factor affecting the development of the Tibetan Plateau vortex(TPV)after it moves off the Tibetan Plateau(TP).However,in the process of the TPV moving off the TP requires that the airmass traverse the eastern slope of the Tibetan Plateau(ESTP)where the topography and diabatic heating(DH)conditions rapidly *** LH gradually replaces SH to become the dominant factor in the development of the TPV over the ESTP is still not very *** this paper,an analysis of a typical case of a TPV with a long life history over the ESTP is performed by using multi-sourced meteorological data and model *** results show that SH from the TP surface can change the TPV-associated precipitation distribution by temperature advection after the TPV moves off the *** LH can then directly promote the development of the TPV and has a certain guiding effect on the track of the *** SH can control the active area of LH by changing the falling area of the TPV-associated precipitation,so it still plays a key role in the development and tracking of the TPV even though it has moved out of the main body of the TP.

A series of Cs-modified CuO/CeO2 mixed oxide catalysts was prepared for enhancing the stable activity of N2O *** was found that Cs modification promoted the catalytic performance of CuO/CeO2 catalysts significantly,The l%Cs-CuO/CeO2 catalyst exhibited the best activity,and the conversion of N2O reached 100%at 380℃ in the presence of 2% *** catalytic behaviors were investigated by means of XRD,N2 adsorption isotherms,XPS,H2-TPR(TPR:temperature-prograrmmed reduction),CO-IR,O2-TPD(TPD:temperature-programmed desorption)and diffused reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectorscopy(DRiFTs).The results revealed that Cs modification promoted the activity and the oxygen resistance by enhancing the desorption of surface oxygen species and increasing the content of Ce^3+.CO-DRIFTs revealed that Ce^3+could efficiently facilitate the regeneration of active Cu^+sites by an oxygen migration *** possible reaction mechanism was also discussed.

Crown development is closely related to the biomass and growth rate of the tree and its width(CW)is an important covariable in growth and yield models and in forest *** date,various CW models have been ***,limited studies have explicitly focused on additive and inherent correlation of crown components and total CW as well as the influence of competition on crown radius from the corresponding *** this study,two model systems were used,i.e.,aggregation method system(AMS)and disaggregation method system(DMS),to develop crown width additive model *** calculating spatially explicit competition index(CI),four neighbor tree selection methods were *** was decomposed into four cardinal directions and added into the model *** show that the power model form was more proper for our data to fit CW *** each crown radius and total CW,height to the diameter at breast height(HDR)and basal area of trees larger than the subject tree(BAL)significantly contributed to the increase of prediction *** 3-m fixed radius was optimal among the four neighborhoods selection *** adding decomposed competition Hegyi index into model systems AMS and DMS,the prediction accuracy *** the model systems evaluated,AMS based on decomposed CI provided the best performance as well as the inherent correlation and additivity *** study highlighted the importance of decomposed CI in tree CW modelling for additive model *** study focused on methodology and could be applied to other species or stands.

Well-dispersed mesoporous spherical Cu2O assembled by small nanoparticles was synthesized by a green and rapid solution route at room temperature under assistance of ultrasonic,using eco-friendly ascorbic acid(AA)as the main reducing agent and glucose as a weak reducing agent and soft *** CuO spheres were characterized by XRD,SEM,HRTEM,XPS and N2 adsorption-desorption *** optical property was studied by UV-Vis diffuse reflectance absorption spectrum and the photocatalytic activities were evaluted by photodegradations of me thylene blue(MB)under different light *** results show that each spherical Cu2O(ca.200 nm in diameter)was accumulated by numerous small nanoparticles of 8-10 nm and mesopores exist between the nanoparticles,which result in a high BET surface *** spherical Cu2O exhibits good light-harvesting ability in both UV and visiblelight region and excellent photodegradation activities to high concentrations of MB solutions under both UV-visible light and visible light.

Light plays a critical role in plant growth and development,but the mechanisms through which light regulates fruit ripening and nutritional quality in horticultural crops remain largely ***,we found that ELONGATED HYPOCOTYL 5(HY5),a master regulator in the light signaling pathway,is required for normal fruit ripening in tomato(Solanum lycopersicum).Loss of function of tomato HY5(SlHY5)impairs pigment accumulation and ethylene *** profiling identified 2948 differentially expressed genes,which included 1424 downregulated and 1524 upregulated genes,in the Slhy5 *** addition,genes involved in carotenoid and anthocyanin biosynthesis and ethylene signaling were revealed as direct targets of SlHY5 by chromatin ***,the expression of a large proportion of genes encoding ribosomal proteins was downregulated in the Slhy5 mutants,and this downregulation pattern was accompanied by a decrease in the abundance of ribosomal *** analysis demonstrated that SlHY5 affected the translation efficiency of numerous ripening-related *** data indicate that SlHY5 regulates fruit ripening both at the transcriptional level by targeting specific molecular pathways and at the translational level by affecting the protein translation *** findings unravel the regulatory mechanisms of SlHY5 in controlling fruit ripening and nutritional quality and uncover the multifaceted regulation of gene expression by transcription factors.

Based on Dirac semimetal metamaterials,the tunable plasmon induced transparency(PIT)is investigated elaborately in this *** designed unit cell consists of a strip and a square bracket,which is periodically aligned on the dielectric *** numerical results illustrate that a pronounced transparency window exists due to near field coupling between two bright modes,which can be dynamically tuned with Fermi ***,the transparency window demonstrates a distinct blue shift with a larger Fermi ***,an on-to-off switch of the PIT transparency window is realized with different polarization *** addition,the accompanied slow light property is examined with the calculation of phase and group ***,a small variation of the refractive index of the substrate can induce a clear movement of the PIT transparency window which delivers a guidance in the application of optical ***,this work provides us a new strategy to design compact and adjustable PIT devices and has potential applications in highly tunable optical switchers,sensors,and slow light devices.

The eigenvalues of the normalized Laplacian of a graph provide information on its structural properties and also on some relevant dynamical aspects, in particular those related to random walks. In this paper, we give the spectra of the normalized Laplacian of iterated pentagonal of a simple connected graph. As an application, we also find the significant formulae for their multiplicative degree-Kirchhoffindex, Kemeny’s constant and number of spanning trees.

High-quality graphene flakes have long been desirable for numerous applications including energy stor- age, printable electronics, and catalysis. In this contribution, we report a green, efficient, facile gas-driven exfoliation process for the preparation of high-quality graphene in large scale. The gas exfoliation process was realized by the interplay between the expansion of interlayer at high temperature and the gasifi- cation of liquid nitrogen within the interlayer. Detailed experiments demonstrated that the higher tem- perature was critical to the formation of fewer layers. The exfoliated graphene was proved to be of high quality. We further investigated the electrochemical behavior of this exfoliated graphene. As a result, this few-layered graphene demonstrated an enhanced capability as a supercapacitor, much higher than its counterpart parent material.
