Manganese cobaltite(MnCo_(2)_(4))is a promising electrode material because of its attractive redox chemistry and excellent charge storage *** previous work demonstrated that the octahedrally-coordinated Mn are prone to react with the hydroxyl ions in alkaline electrolyte upon electrochemical cycling and separates on the surface of spinel to reconstruct into d-MnO_(2) nanosheets irreversibly,thus results in a change of the reaction mechanism with Kþion ***,the low capacity has greatly limited its practical ***,we found that the tetrahedrally-coordinated Co_(2) þions were leached when MnCo_(2)_(4) was equilibrated in 1 mol l^(-1) HCl solution,leading to the formation of layered CoOOH on MnCo_(2)_(4) surface which is originated from the covalency competition induced selective breakage of the CoT–O bond in CoT–O–CoO and subsequent rearrangement of free Co_(6) *** as-formed CoOOH is stable upon cycling in alkaline electrolyte,exhibits conversion reaction mechanism with facile proton diffusion and is free of massive structural evolution,thus enables utilization of the bulk electrode material and realizes enhanced speciﬁc capacity as well as facilitated charge transfer and ion *** general,our work not only offers a feasible approach to deliberate modiﬁcation of MnCo_(2)_(4)'s surface structure,but also provides an in-depth understanding of its charge storage mechanism,which enables rational design of the spinel oxides with promising charge storage properties.

Nickel-based single crystal superalloys have been widely used in aero-engines and gas turbine *** improve the creep resistance,rhenium is often added to the ***,it is not yet fully under-stood how the added Re elements distribute in the alloys and how the microstructure evolves with the addition of ***,we performed extensive first-principles calculations based Monte-Carlo simulated annealing of Ni-Al-Re ternary alloys with different Re concentrations ranging from 0.5 at.%to 6.0 at.%.The results demonstrate that with the decreasing temperature,most of Re atoms stay in theγphase,while a few of Re atoms stay in theγ'phase and tend to occupy the Al *** low temperatures,the Re atoms segregate at theγ/γ'boundary,in good agreement with *** find that the disorder-order transition temperature of the Ni-Al-Re ternary alloys increases with the Re concentration due to the Re-enhanced Al-Al ordering *** addition,we observe that at low temperatures the Re segregation at theγ/γ'boundary promotes the formation of Ni 4 Re-or Ni 8 Re-like local structures as the Re concentration is over 2 at.%.The formation of a large amount of these local structures consumes the Re atoms in solid solutions,and thus from the solid-solution strengthening point of view,this would have a negative influence on the creep resistance of the *** work provides important atomistic insights on the Re distribution and its effects on the stability of superalloys.

The spatial organization of the genome plays an important role in the regulation of gene expression. How- ever, the core structural features of animal genomes, such as topologically associated domains （TADs） and chromatin loops, are not prominent in the extremely compact Arabidopsis genome. In this study, we examine the chromatin architecture, as well as their DNA methylation, histone modifications, accessible chromatin, and gene expression, of maize, tomato, sorghum, foxtail millet, and rice with genome sizes ranging from 0.4 to 2.4 Gb. We found that these plant genomes can be divided into mammalian-like A/B compartments. At higher resolution, the chromosomes of these plants can be further partitioned to local AJB compartments that reflect their euchromatin, heterochromatin, and polycomb status. Chromatins in all these plants are organized into domains that are not conserved across species. They show similarity to the Drosophila compartment domains, and are clustered into active, polycomb, repressive, and interme- diate types based on their transcriptional activities and epigenetic signatures, with domain border overlaps with the local A/B compartment junctions. In the large maize and tomato genomes, we observed extensive chromatin loops. However, unlike the mammalian chromatin loops that are enriched at the TAD border, plant chromatin loops are often formed between gene islands outside the repressive domains and are closely associated with active compartments. Our study indicates that plants have complex and unique 3D chromatin architectures, which require further study to elucidate their biological functions.

Highly efficient isomerization of glucose to fructose is essential for valorizing cellulose fraction of biomass to valueadded *** work provided an innovative method for preparing Mg-biochar and Mg-K-biochar catalysts by impregnating either MgCl_(2) alone or in combination with different K compounds(Ding et *** Bioresour Technol 341:125835,2021,https://***/10.1016/*** ech.2021.125835 and KHCO_(3))on cellulose-derived biochar,followed by hydrothermal carbonization and *** active substance MgO existing in the _(10)Mg-C could give better catalytic effect on glucose isomerization than the synergy of MgO and KCl crystalline material present in _(10)*** the catalytic effect of _(10)Mg-C was decreased when the basic site of MgO was *** to other carbon-based metal catalysts,_(10)Mg-KHCO_(3)-C with 10 wt%MgCl_(2) loading had excellent catalytic performance,which gave a higher fructose yield(36.7%)and selectivity(74.54%),and catalyzed excellent glucose conversion(53.99%)at 100℃ in 30 *** electron microscope-energy dispersive spectrometer and X-Ray diffraction revealed that the distribution of Mg^(Mg^(2+))and K^(+)in _(10)Mg-KHCO_(3)-C was uniform and the catalytic active substances(MgO,KCl and K_(2)CO_(3))were more than _(10)Mg-C(only MgO).The synergy effects of MgO and K_(2)CO_(3) active sites enhanced the pH of reaction system and induced H2O ionization to form considerable OH−ions,thus easily realizing a deprotonation of glucose and effectively catalyzing the isomerization of *** this study,we developed a highly efficient Mg-K-biochar bimetallic catalyst for glucose isomerization and provided an efficient method for cellulose valorization.

The tsunami was a sudden marine disasters. Tsunami waves can quickly spread to near-shore and cause the disaster after the tsunami. So it is very important of timely monitoring and early warning of the tsunami. After several unsuccessful tsunami forecasting, the United States developed tsunami buoy specifically for the early detection of tsunami waves. Tsunami buoy can not only be able to display occurrence of the tsunami, it is real time data but also be assimilated into the tsunami warning system, to improve the accuracy of the tsunami forecasting. Several tsunami events in the recent few years have proven the important role of the tsunami buoys. Subsequently, the tsunami warning system based on tsunami buoys was into regular operation. The system accurately predicted the results on March 11, 2011 Japan tsunami event. State Oceanic Administration （SOA）, China also deployed 2 tsunami buoys in the South China Sea （SCS）, which also played an important role in the warning process of Japan tsunami on March 11, 2011. National Marine Environmental Forecasting Center/State Oceanic Administration （NMEFC/SOA） will collaborate with Pacific Marine Environmental laboratory/National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration （PMEl/NOAA） to develop assimilation method making use of real time data of tsunami buoy and build a forecasting system in SCS in the future.

This worked aimed to test the hypothesis that l-alanyl-l-glutamine(Ala-Gln)improves the varicocele-induced testicular injury,which causes male *** this purpose,fifty adult male Wistar rats received the varicocele(VC)surgery at the left renal *** were determined 2,4,and 8 weeks after VC(n=10/each detection).Four weeks after VC,rats received Ala-Gln(1.125 g/kg)treatment with and or saline for 1 week(n=10/each group).Rats in the sham group were also detected for biomarkers at 2,4,and 8 weeks(n=10/each detection).VC caused testicular injury detected by hematoxylin–eosin(H&E)staining,immunohistochemistry,and TUNEl ***70 mRNA was detected quantitative RT-PCR,SOD,and CAT by nitroblue tetrazolium(NBT)method and 8-OHDG by *** results showed that varicocele induced injury in the *** weight of the left testes was lower than that of the right testes in VC-bearing rats(plative numbers of sustentacular and spermatogenic cells were decreased after VC(pla-Gln groups,the apoptosis index was 5.10±1.14,13.22±3.63,33.62±3.56 and 22.33±2.61,relative level of HSP70 mRNA 1.00±0.12,0.53±0.05,0.51±0.04 and 1.62±0.15 fold,SOD 16.4±0.23,13.4±0.17,10.01±1.06 and 19.53±2.26 U/mg protein,CAT 2.16±0.31,1.07±0.28,and 1.31±0.26 and 3.46±0.71 U/mg,8-OHDG 5.23±0.67,6.81±0.78,7.16±1.22 and 4.14±0.73 pg/μg DNA,respectively(plts suggest that Ala-Gln prevented the VC-induced testicular *** have firstly reported that Ala-Gln protects against varicocele-induced testicular injuries by up-regulation of HSP70 and antioxidants,SOD and CAT,and down-regulation of oxidant 8-OHDG,resulting in reducing apoptosis in the testis.

Transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and atom probe tomography(APT)techniques were used to investigate the nanoscale orderedα_(2)(Ti_(3)Al)precipitates in Ti–Al binary ***–6Al and Ti–8Al binary alloys were solution treated and aged to obtain Widmanstatten microstructure and promoteα_(2)*** TEM results displayed strong short-range ordering ofα_(2)precipitates in Ti–8Al alloy,while no evidence of the superlattice reflections ofα_(2)in Ti–6Al *** results acquired from APT showed theα_(2)clusters and atoms distribution at the interface between the matrix andα_(2)*** size and morphology ofα_(2)particles in Ti–8Al alloy,respectively,obtained by TEM and APT are closely ***,the APT results displayed tiny size clusters in Ti–6Al alloy,which supposed to give evidence of the initial ordering process ofα_(2)precipitates in the absence of correlative results from TEM.

在合宜社会语境下,对政治美德和美德政治的探讨需要重新敏锐于一些根本追问,从而不容回避地回答四类问题:谁是政治主体,向谁要求美德;在实现政治美德的现实条件中,哪些前提不容让步;如何确保政治共同体及其制度不致成为阻碍个体成员美德实现与政治参与的额外"构成性运气";以及,既然存在着能力、胜任资格、美德三者之间的循序渐进,它们之间的恰当关联方式是什么,处在不同的能力-美德水平和自我实现阶段的共同体成员之间的恰当义务关系又是什么。为了回应这些根本关注,本文强调一种"承担责任的权利",据此提出一个强判断和一个弱判断,并且围绕这两个判断进一步阐明共同体的政治绩效责任和贤能精英的额外义务。
