A GIS-Based Modelling for Identifying High Priority Areas for Groundwater Recharge

At semi-arid areas that dominant portion of required water for agriculture is provided by exploitation of groundwater,these resources encounter with more *** identifying of potential runoff generating sites and estimation of runoff depth can be a significant step for storing runoff for agricultural activities and groundwater *** main purposes of this study are use of GIS(geographic information system)ability for identifying of potential runoff generating sites,and thus identifying high priority areas for groundwater recharge in the Gharehchay River watershed in the north of Hamedan province,*** runoff generating sites were identified by using watershed features same as slope,land use and hydrological soil ***,CN I(Curve Number I)technique,which is one of the eight derivations of the NRCS-CN(natural resources conservation services curve number)method,was utilized to calculate rainfall-runoff depth in the study ***,map layers were ranked in order of highest priority to lowest priority,based on the criteria of each dataset,and high priority areas for groundwater recharge were identified by integrating potential runoff map,runoff depth and depth to groundwater *** analysis revealed that 51%of the study region has a high priority for groundwater recharge.

Design and modeling of high‑performance mid‑wave infrared InAsSb‑based nBn photodetector using barrier band engineering approaches

We report a new nBn photodetector(nBn-PD)design based on the InAlSb/AlSb/InAlSb/InAsSb material systems for midwavelength infrared(MWIR)*** this structure,delta-doped compositionally graded barrier(δ-DCGB)layers are suggested,the advantage of which is creation of a near zero valence band ofset in nBn *** design of theδ-DCGB nBn-PD device includes a 3µm absorber layer(n-InAs0.81Sb0.19),a unipolar barrier layer(AlSb),and 0.2μm contact layer(n-InAs0.81Sb0.19)as well as a 0.116µm linear grading region(InAlSb)from the contact to the barrier layer and also from the barrier to the absorber *** analysis includes various dark current contributions,such as the Shockley-Read-Hall(SRH),trap-assisted tunneling(TAT),Auger,and Radiative recombination mechanisms,to acquire more precise ***,we show that the method used in the nBn device design leads to difusion-limited dark current so that the dark current density is 2.596×10^(−8)A/cm^(2)at 150 K and a bias voltage of−0.2 *** proposed nBn detector exhibits a 50%cutof wavelength of more than 5µm,the peak current responsivity is 1.6 A/W at a wavelength of 4.5µm and a−0.2 V bias with 0.05 W/cm2 backside illumination without anti-refective *** maximum quantum efciency at 4.5µm is about 48.6%,and peak specifc detectivity(D*)is of 3.37×10^(10)cm⋅Hz1/2/***,to solve the refection concern in this nBn devices,we use a BaF_(2)anti-refection coating layer due to its high transmittance in the MWIR *** leads to an increase of almost 100%in the optical response metrics,such as the current responsivity,quantum efciency,and detectivity,compared to the optical response without an anti-refection coating layer.

【目的】探讨手术与保守治疗在高龄恶性肿瘤相关性急性肠梗阻中的应用效果及预后影响因素分析。【方法】对本院收治的96例高龄急性肠梗阻患者的临床资料进行回顾性分析,其中71例根据病情予以肠切除肠吻合术、肠造口或肠外置术治疗,25例予以胃肠减压等保守治疗,根据治疗2个月后的预后结局分为预后良好组(79例)和预后不佳组(17例),分析患者预后的影响因素。【结果】71例手术组患者治疗成功率为94.37%(67/71),高于25例非手术组患者的48.00%(12/25)(P0.05)。预后不佳组病理分期Ⅲ期、肿瘤低分化占比及年龄均高于预后良好组(P<0.05)。Logistic多因素回归分析结果显示,年龄、病理分期、肿瘤分化程度均为患者预后的影响因素(P<0.05)。【结论】相对于非手术方案,高龄恶性肿瘤相关性急性肠梗阻患者应用手术治疗更有助于缓解肠梗阻症状,而患者年龄、病理分期和肿瘤分化程度均可对预后产生影响。

Correlation Between Magnetic Properties and Allotropic Phase Transition of Fe–Co–V Alloy

In this study, the allotropic phase transition and its effect on the magnetic behavior of Fe Co–7 wt%V alloy were investigated. It was found that c phase is observed in the microstructure in the as-cast condition, and it diminishes after severe cold rolling（90% reduction）. After annealing at temperatures higher than 500 up to 750 ℃, the c phase is observed in the structure, again. But, this phase is disappeared by annealing at temperatures above 750 ℃ due to the formation of vanadium-rich precipitates. Thermocalc software was used in order to elucidate the influence of vanadium percent on the stability of c phase in Fe–Co alloys. Also, magnetic studies showed that the saturation induction is reduced by annealing at temperatures from 500 up to 750 ℃, which is related to the formation of residual non-magnetic γ phase.

This research aims to investigate the effect of pulsed Nd：YAG laser micro-welding on the microstructure,texture and magnetic properties of ultra-thin Fe-Co-7.15 wt%V magnetic *** microscopy,scanning electron microscopy and electron backscattered diffraction techniques were used to study the microstructural ***,vibrating sample magnetometry was used to characterize the magnetic *** results showed that the fractions of low Σ coincidence site lattice boundaries in the fusion zone are higher than those of the base *** welded samples experience a significant decrease in their magnetic *** was found that the formation of new fiber texture in the fusion zone and grain coarsening are the most important factors affecting the magnetic properties.

Micro-Bio Stratigraphy of Asmari Formation in Mamoolan Stratigraphy Section, Sout of Khorramabad

In this paper, Biostratigraphy of Asmari formation to San oligo-Myocene was studied in North Mamulan, South West Lorestan Province. In this region, Shahbazan-Asmari carbonate formation is located between Kashkan formation beneath and evaporative formation of Gachsaran as old as lower Miocene in the form of disconformity above. From 180 m real thickness observed in this study, 23 genera and 15 species of benthic foraminifera were identified and studied. These foraminifera were found in four assemblage zones suggesting that this formation dates back to Oligocene (Chattian-Rupelian) and early Miocene (Aquitanian-Burdigalian). Moreover, based on microscopic studies and visual observations, nine microfacies were identified that were deposited in three zones: lagoon, dam, and shallow open marine.

Synthesis of 3D Hexagram-Like Cobalt–Manganese Sulfides Nanosheets Grown on Nickel Foam: A Bifunctional Electrocatalyst for Overall Water Splitting

The exploration of low-cost and efficient bifunctional electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction and hydrogen evolution reaction through tuning the chemical composition is strongly required for sustainable resources. Herein, we developed a bimetallic cobalt–manganese sulfide supported on Ni foam(CMS/Ni) via a solvothermal method. It has discovered that after combining with the pure Co_9S_8 and Mn S, the morphologies of CMS/Ni have modulated. The obtained three-dimensionally hexagram-like CMS/Ni nanosheets have a significant increase in electrochemical active surface area and charge transport ability. More than that, the synergetic effect of Co and Mn has also presented in this composite. Benefiting from these, the CMS/Ni electrode shows great performance toward hydrogen evolution reaction and oxygen evolution reaction in basic medium, comparing favorably to that ofthe pure Co_9S_8/Ni and Mn S/Ni. More importantly, this versatile CMS/Ni can catalyze the water splitting in a twoelectrode system at a potential of 1.47 V, and this electrolyzer can be efficiently driven by a 1.50 V commercial dry battery.

Sustainable Coastal Landscaping Using Reclaimed Irrigation Water in Dubai

Dubai became a truism and business hub of the Middle East. Dubai Municipality (DM) treats municipal wastewater and has implemented reclaimed water (RW) distribution systems for the irrigation of greeneries in the city. Reusing water has been a sustainable solution to reduce the consumption of potable water, which is produced through the expensive processes of desalination. Using RW raises concerns regarding the accumulation of RW’s nutrients in soil and consequently stormwater pollution especially in coastal areas. The quality of RW, the accumulation of RW’s nutrients in soil and interaction between stormwater and soil should be assessed to estimate the environmental impacts of using cost-effective RW. The objective of this research is to form a practical assessment methodology for estimating the extent of stormwater pollution when rainwater is exposed to soils irrigated with RW. The research attempts to determine the impact of RW’s nutrients concentrations and the land characteristics including foliage and land slopes on stormwater pollution and potential environmental catastrophes in seashores. The results of pollution estimation were considered to moderate the pollution of runoff generated from lands in coastlines.

Microstructural approach to equal channel angular processing of commercially pure titanium——A review

A review on severe plastic deformation（SPD） technique of equal channel angular pressing（ECAP） process of commercially pure titanium（CP-Ti） alloys was presented with a major emphasize on the influence of ECAP parameters that include channel and curvature angles, processing route, temperature of operation, pressing speed, internal heating, number of pass through the die and back pressure. Various ECAP characteristics such as microstructure, strain inhomogeneity and mechanical properties are considered to achieve the maximum homogeneity, equilibrium grain refinement and mechanical improvement of CP-Ti. Investigations show that a pressing speed of 1-3 mm/s at 450 °C with route BC along with channel and curvature angles of 90° and 20° respectively with backpressure can lead to the most homogeneous ultrafine microstructure.
