Peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.)is a dual-purpose crop that supplies vegetable oil and food protein,which plays an important role in agriculture and national economy(Akram et al.,2018).One of the major problems in peanut worldwide is Aspellgills flavus infection and subsequent aflatoxin(AFT)contamination,which can occur during production,harvesting,storage,processing,etc.,thereby seriously threatening people's health and food safety,and restricting export trade(Klich et al.,2007;Ding et al.,2015).AFTs are the most toxic class of mycotoxins discovered to date,which can cause carcinogenicity,teratogenicity and mutagenesis(Smith et al.,2017;Mwakinyali et al.,2019).

AIM To evaluate the therapeutic effects of segmental transcatheter arterial embolization for primary hepatocellular carcinoma, and to recognize the menifestation and clinical value of lipiodol overflow into portal veins surrounding the tumors. METHODS A total of 50 cases of nonresectable primary hepatocellular carcinoma underwent segmental transcatheter arterial embolization. Two methods of superselective segmental catheterization were used, one was the method of wire guiding, and the other the technic of co axial infusion catheter. RESULTS The 1 , 2 , 3 and 4 year cumulative survival rates of 50 cases with segmental transcatheter arterial embolization for primary hepatocellular carcinoma were 83 8%, 65 4%, 42 9% and 24 5% respectively. The incidence of the lipiodol overflow into portal veins was 64%. The overflow of lipiodol into portal veins, represented as 3-5 grade branches of portal veins visualized by lipiodol, was “star like” or “tree like”, and there was a relatively large vessel in the center surrounded with radicalized small branches of vessels. CONCLUSION The lipiodol overflow into portal veins was one of the signs of complete embolization for tumors, and may play a partial role in embolizating the portal venous supply for hepatocellular carcinoma.

OBJECTIVE： To evaluate the application of health assessment instruments in Chinese medicine. METHODS： According to a pre-defined search strategy, a comprehensive literature search for all articles published in China National Knowledge Infrastructure databases was conducted. The resulting articles that met the defined inclusion and exclusion criteria were used for analysis. RESULTS： A total of 97 instruments for health outcome assessment in Chinese medicine have been used in fundamental and theoretical research, and 14 of these were also used in 29 clinical trials that were randomized controlled trials, or descriptive or cross-sectional studies. In 2 152 Chinese medicine-based studies that used instruments in their methodology, more than 150 questionnaires were identified. Among the identified questionnaires, 51 were used in more than 10 articles （0.5%）. Most of these instruments were developed in Western countries and few studies （4%） used the instrument as the primary evidence for their conclusions. CONCLUSION： Usage of instruments for health outcome assessment in Chinese medicine is increasing rapidly; however, current limitations include selection rationale, result interpretation and standardization, which must be addressed accordingly.

The depression mechanism of sulfite ions on sphalerite and Pb^(2+)activated sphalerite in the flotation separation of galena from sphalerite still lacked in-depth ***,the depression mechanism of sulfite ions on sphalerite and Pb^(2+)activated sphalerite in the flotation separation of galena from sphalerite was further systematically investigated with experiments and density functional theory(DFT)*** X-ray photoelectric spectroscopy(XPS)results,DFT calculation results,and frontier molecular orbital analysis indicated that sulfite ions were difficult to be adsorbed on sphalerite surface,suggesting that sulfite ions achieved depression effects on sphalerite through other non-adsorption ***,the oxygen content in the surface of sphalerite treated with sulfite ions in creased,which enhanced the hydrophilicity of the sphalerite and further increased the difference in hydrophilicity between sphalerite and ***,sulfite ions were chelated with lead ions to form PbSO_(3)in *** hydrophilic PbSO_(3)was more easily adsorbed on sphalerite than *** interaction between sulfite ions and lead ions could effectively inhibit the activation of *** addition the UV spectrum showed that after adding sulfite ions,the peak of perxanthate in the sphalerite treated xanthate solution was significantly stronger than that in the galena with xanthate solution,indicating that xanthate interacted more readily with sulfite ions and oxygen mo lecules within the sphalerite system,leading to the formation of ***,sulfite ions hardly depressed the flotation of ga lena and could promote the flotation of galena to some *** study deepened the understanding of the depression mechanism o sulfite ions on sphalerite and Pb^(2+)activated sphalerite.

BiVO_(4)porous spheres modified by ZnO were designed and synthesized using a facile two-step *** resulting ZnO/BiVO_(4)composite catalysts have shown remarkable efficiency as piezoelectric catalysts for degrading Rhodamine B(RhB)unde mechanical vibrations,they exhibit superior activity compared to pure *** 40wt%ZnO/BiVO_(4)heterojunction composite displayed the highest activity,along with good stability and *** enhanced piezoelectric catalytic activity can be attributed to the form ation of an I-scheme heterojunction structure,which can effectively inhibit the electron-hole ***,hole(h+)and superoxide radical(·O_(2)^(-))are proved to be the primary active ***,ZnO/BiVO_(4)stands as an efficient and stable piezoelectric catalyst with broad potential application in the field of environmental water pollution treatment.

The origin and sedimentary environment of the Late Tertiary(Neogene) Red Clay Formation in northern China had long been controversial.A new mollusk record from the Xifeng red clay(red-earth) sequence in the central Loess Plateau provides the biological evidence for addressing questions of its origin and environmental *** study of composition and preservation condition of seventy mollusk fossil assemblages reveals the initial ecological condition of the red clay formation,avoiding the effect of post-deposited *** result shows that all of identifiable mollusk species are composed of terrestrial taxa,most of them are the common species found in the overlying Quaternary loess-paleosol *** of fossil individuals preserved in the red clay strata are in living conditions based on the investigation of fieldwork,indicating the original ***,the mollusk fossil assemblages can be used as an indicator of primary environment of the red clay formation. The mollusk record from the Xifeng red clay sequence supports the view that the red clay is an aeolian origin, similar to the overlying Quaternary loess *** data also reveal the history of environmental changes at Xifeng from 6.2-2.4 Ma,which is coupled in phase with the formation and development of the Arctic ice sheets and the process of the Tibetan Plateau *** may be the major cause and forcing mechanisms of the late Tertiary environmental changes in the Loess Plateau.
