After the extinction of Archaeocyatha(sponges),microbial bioherms were well developed in the lower Cambrian of the Yangtze cratonic basin,especially in the Qingxudong Formation(Cambrian(Stage 4))of the Huayuan area,northwestern Hunan Province,southern ***,four sections from this area were chosen for investigating and analyzing their microfacies and depositional *** microfacies types were recognized through petrographic analysis of textural attributes and calcimicrobes(including Epiphyton,Renalcis,Girvanella and Kenella),respectively as:laminated calcareous mudstone(MF1),algal wackestone(MF2),intraclastic grainstone(MF3),algal intrasparrudite(MF4),oolitic algal intrasparrudite(MF5),sparry oolitic grainstone(MF6),Epiphyton framestone(MF7),Renalcis bafflestone(MF8),Kenella bafflestone(MF9),Girvanella boundstone(MF10),thrombolitic boundstone(MF11),and dolomite(MF12).These microfacies represent four major depositional environments:carbonate ramp,carbonate platform,slope and tidal *** played an important role in the transition from carbonate ramp to platform,while the evolution from ramp to tidal flat must be ascribed to sea-level fall during the Cambrian Age 4.

We have carried out point-contact spectroscopy(PCS)measurements on one family of antiferromagnetic Kondo semiconductor CeT2Al10(T=Ru and Os)with a Neel temperature´TN∼27.5 and 28.5 K,*** PCS conductance curves both exhibit a characteristic coherent double-peak-structure at temperatures below TN,signaling an AFM gap around the Fermi *** temperature dependent AFM gap∆1 follows a Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer(BCS)-like mean-field behavior with a moderate gap anisotropy for PCS along different crystal *** asymmetric gap-like feature is observed for both compounds at temperatures far below TN,which is consistent with opening of a new hybridization gap∆h inside the long-range ordered AFM *** results suggest a common itinerant nature of the anomalous AFM ordering,constraining theoretical models to explain the AFM origin in CeRu2Al10 and CeOs2Al10.

The cubic pyrochlore Dy2Pt2O7 was synthesized under 4 GPa and 1000℃ and its magnetic and thermodynamic properties were characterized by DC and AC magnetic susceptibility and specific heat down to 0.1 *** found that Dy2Pt2O7 does not form long-range magnetic order,but displays characteristics of canonical spin ice such as Dy2Pt2O7,including(1)a large effective moment 9.64μB close to the theoretical value and a small positive Curie-Weiss temperatureθCW=+0.77 K signaling a dominant ferromagnetic interaction among the Ising spins;(2)a saturation moment ~4.5μB being half of the total moment due to the localIsing anisotropy;(3)thermally activated spin relaxation behaviors in the low(~1 K)and high(~20 K)temperature regions with different energy barriers and characteristic relaxation time;and most importantly,(4)the presence of a residual entropy close to Pauling’s estimation for water ice.

We report the transport properties of a topological insulator candidate,*** electric resistivity of the title compound exhibits a metal-to-semiconductor-like transition at around 160 K and tends to saturation below 50 *** low temperatures,the magnetoresistance is up to~260%at 9 T and a clear weak antilocalization effect is observed in the low magnetic-field *** Hall measurement reveals that LiMgBi is a multiband system,where hole-type carriers(nh~1018 cm^(-3))play a major role in the transport ***,LiMgBi possess a large Seebeck coefficient(~440μV/K)and a moderate thermal conductivity at room temperature,which indicate that LiMgBi is a promising candidate in thermoelectric applications.

Remaining Life Prediction Method for Photovoltaic Modules Based on Two-Stage Wiener Process

Photovoltaic (PV) modules, as essential components of solar power generation systems, significantly influence unitpower generation *** service life of these modules directly affects these costs. Over time, the performanceof PV modules gradually declines due to internal degradation and external environmental *** cumulativedegradation impacts the overall reliability of photovoltaic power generation. This study addresses the complexdegradation process of PV modules by developing a two-stage Wiener process model. This approach accountsfor the distinct phases of degradation resulting from module aging and environmental influences. A powerdegradation model based on the two-stage Wiener process is constructed to describe individual differences inmodule degradation processes. To estimate the model parameters, a combination of the Expectation-Maximization(EM) algorithm and the Bayesian method is employed. Furthermore, the Schwarz Information Criterion (SIC) isutilized to identify critical change points in PV module degradation trajectories. To validate the universality andeffectiveness of the proposed method, a comparative analysis is conducted against other established life predictiontechniques for PV modules.

Inexact proximal gradient algorithm with random reshuffling for nonsmooth optimization

Proximal gradient algorithms are popularly implemented to achieve convex optimization with nonsmooth regularization. Obtaining the exact solution of the proximal operator for nonsmooth regularization is challenging because errors exist in the computation of the gradient; consequently, the design and application of inexact proximal gradient algorithms have attracted considerable attention from researchers. This paper proposes computationally efficient basic and inexact proximal gradient descent algorithms with random reshuffling. The proposed stochastic algorithms take randomly reshuffled data to perform successive gradient descents and implement only one proximal operator after all data pass through. We prove the convergence results of the proposed proximal gradient algorithms under the sampling-without-replacement reshuffling *** computational errors exist in gradients and proximal operations, the proposed inexact proximal gradient algorithms can converge to an optimal solution neighborhood. Finally, we apply the proposed algorithms to compressed sensing and compare their efficiency with some popular algorithms.

The depression mechanism of sulfite ions on sphalerite and Pb^(2+)activated sphalerite in the flotation separation of galena from sphalerite still lacked in-depth ***,the depression mechanism of sulfite ions on sphalerite and Pb^(2+)activated sphalerite in the flotation separation of galena from sphalerite was further systematically investigated with experiments and density functional theory(DFT)*** X-ray photoelectric spectroscopy(XPS)results,DFT calculation results,and frontier molecular orbital analysis indicated that sulfite ions were difficult to be adsorbed on sphalerite surface,suggesting that sulfite ions achieved depression effects on sphalerite through other non-adsorption ***,the oxygen content in the surface of sphalerite treated with sulfite ions in creased,which enhanced the hydrophilicity of the sphalerite and further increased the difference in hydrophilicity between sphalerite and ***,sulfite ions were chelated with lead ions to form PbSO_(3)in *** hydrophilic PbSO_(3)was more easily adsorbed on sphalerite than *** interaction between sulfite ions and lead ions could effectively inhibit the activation of *** addition the UV spectrum showed that after adding sulfite ions,the peak of perxanthate in the sphalerite treated xanthate solution was significantly stronger than that in the galena with xanthate solution,indicating that xanthate interacted more readily with sulfite ions and oxygen mo lecules within the sphalerite system,leading to the formation of ***,sulfite ions hardly depressed the flotation of ga lena and could promote the flotation of galena to some *** study deepened the understanding of the depression mechanism o sulfite ions on sphalerite and Pb^(2+)activated sphalerite.

The application of industrial solid wastes as environmentally functional materials for air pollutants control has gained much attention in recent years due to its potential to reduce air pollution in a cost-effective *** this review,we investigate the development of industrialwaste-based functional materials for various gas pollutant removal and consider the relevant reaction mechanism according to different types of industrial solid *** see a recent effort towards achieving high-performance environmental functional materials via chemical or physical modification,in which the active components,pore size,and phase structure can be *** review will discuss the potential of using industrial solid wastes,these modified materials,or synthesized materials from raw waste precursors for the removal of air pollutants,including SO_(2),NO_(x),Hg^(0),H_(2)S,VOCs,and CO_(2).The challenges still need to be addressed to realize this potential and the prospects for future research *** suggestions for future directions include determining the optimal composition of these materials,calculating the real reaction rate and turnover frequency,developing effective treatment methods,and establishing chemical component databases of raw industrial solid waste for catalysts/adsorbent preparation.

Long noncoding RNA LINC01106 promotes lung adenocarcinoma progression via upregulation of autophagy
