A series of novel poly（aryl ether nitrile）s containing phthalazinone moiety were synthesized by the nucleophilic displacement reaction of bisphenol-like monomers （I） with 2,6-difluorobenzonitrile. The inherent viscosities ranged from 0.46 to 1.07 dL g^-1. The glass transition temperatures were in the range of 277-295℃, and the temperatures for 10% weight loss in nitrogen atmosphere were found between 495 and 527 ℃. The structures of these resultant polymers were confirmed by FT-IR and 1^H NMR. Moreover, the properties of poly（aryl ether nitrile）s including solubility and crystallinity were also studied.

Piezo-photocatalysis could coalesce the advantages of mechanical vibration and solar energy perfectly to achieve high-efficiency catalytic ***,the quintessential piezoelectric material CdS nanowires with different aspect ratios are precisely constructed and applied for piezo-photocatalytic reduction of U(Ⅵ)for the first *** ultrasonic(60 kHz,100 W)induces piezoelectric potential to generate a 0.57 eV A^(-1)electric field,which is added to the direction of CdS(010)as a driving force to efficiently separate photogenerated *** alliance between piezoelectric effect and photocatalytic activity endows CdS NW-3 with the fastest piezo-photocatalytic rate under ultrasonic vibration and 5 W LED irradiation,and the relevant rate constant(0.042 min^(-1))is about 12 and 53.8 times than that of LED and *** importantly,93.74%of U(Ⅵ)could be removed from natural uranium mine ***,this piezo-photocatalysis system that reduces U(Ⅵ)to easily separable(UO_(2))O_(2)·2H_(2)O(s)provides valuable input for disposal applications of radioactive wastewater and broadens the horizons of nuclear energy utilization toward the advancement of carbon neutrality.

To study the effects of interleukin-6 （IL-6） and its receptor （IL-6R） during in vitro maturation of ovine oocytes, the mRNA and protein expression levels of IL-6 and IL-6R, along with their localization, were examined during ovine oocytes maturation in vitro through real-time PCR, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry. Specific patterns of expression of IL-6 and IL-6R were observed at both mRNA and protein levels at each stage of ovine oocytes maturation. IL-6 and IL-6R were distributed primarily on the surface of the cell membrane, with little expression in the cytoplasm or nucleus. IL-6 and IL-6R were expressed significantly at higher levels in the maturation around 4 h, and then decreased dramatically. However the level slightly elevated at 20-24 h. The role of IL-6 and IL-6R on oocytes maturation was studied through in vitro addition of recombinant human IL-6 in different concentrations. The addition of 10 ng mL-1 IL-6 significantly increased the rates of oocytes maturation （P〈0.05）, but did not affect the rates of development of the subsequence IVF ovine embryos. In summary, IL-6 is likely to play an important role in the early ovine oocytes maturation. The expression patterns of the IL-6 and IL-6R on the ovine oocytes maturation open up the possibility of regulatory role of the cytokine in ovine oocytes maturation.

Plant chlorophyll biosynthesis and chloroplast development are two complex processes that are regulated by exogenous and endogenous factors. In this study, we identified OsDXR, a gene encoding a reductoisomerase that positively regulates chlorophyll biosynthesis and chloroplast development in rice. OsDXR knock-out lines displayed the albino phenotype and could not complete the whole life cycle process. OsDXR was highly expressed in rice leaves, and subcellular localization indicated that OsDXR is a chloroplast protein. Many genes involved in chlorophyll biosynthesis and chloroplast development were differentially expressed in the OsDXR knock-out lines compared to the wild ***, we found that the RNA editing efficiencies of ndhA-1019 and rpl2-1 were significantly reduced in the OsDXR knock-out lines. Furthermore, OsDXR interacted with the RNA editing factor OsMORF1 in a yeast two-hybrid screen and bimolecular fluorescence complementation assay. Finally, disruption of the plastidial 2-C-methyl-derythritol-4-phosphate pathway resulted in defects in chloroplast development and the RNA editing of chloroplast genes.

Prophylactic/preemptive donor lymphocyte infusion(p/pDLI)and intensified conditioning have shown promising results in experimental studies of refractory/relapsed acute leukemia(RRAL),but real-world data remain *** conducted a multicenter,population-based analysis of 932 consecutive *** three-year leukemia-free survival(LFS)rates were 56%for patients receiving both p/pDLI and intensified myeloablative conditioning(MAC)(intenseMAC)and 30%for those who received neither therapy per landmark *** analyses were run separately for acute myeloid leukemia(AML)and acute lymphoblastic leukemia(ALL),and p/pDLI treatment was linked to significantly higher LFS than non-DLI for both AML and ALL patients without increasing the nonrelapse *** was associated with significantly lower relapse and higher LFS than nonintensified MAC despite higher nonrelapse mortality rates in ALL,while there was no impact of intenseMAC observed in AML.p/pDLI achieved superior outcomes in both matched-sibling donor(MSD)and haploidentical donor transplantation,while intenseMAC only influenced MSD *** suggest that RRAL patients receiving“total therapy”by way of p/pDLI and intensified conditioning treatment have an improved chance for LFS,with p/pDLI being safer with a more extensive impact relative to *** with RRAL can tolerate both interventions and achieve a reasonable outcome.

Positron sources are one of the most important components of the injector of a circular electron positron collector(CEPC).The CEPC is designed as an e^(+)e^(−)collider for a Higgs *** accelerator system is composed of 100-km-long storage rings and an *** design goal of the positron source is to obtain positron beams with a bunch charge of 3 *** flux concentrator(FC)is one of the cores of the positron *** paper reports the design,development,and measurements of an FC prototype *** prototype includes an FC and an all-solid-state high-current pulse *** tests show that the peak current on the FC can reach 15.5 kA,and the peak magnetic field can reach 6.2 *** test results are consistent with the theoretical *** FC system fulfills the requirements of the CEPC positron source as well as provides a reference for the development of similar devices both domestically and abroad.

Epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)is reportedly overexpressed in most esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)patients,but anti-EGFR treatments offer limited survival *** preclinical data showed the promising antitumor activity of afatinib in EGFR-overexpressing *** proof-of-concept,phase II trial assessed the efficacy and safety of afatinib in pretreated metastatic ESCC patients(n=41)with EGFR overexpression(NCT03940976).The study met its primary endpoint,with a confirmed objective response rate(ORR)of 39%in 38 efficacy-evaluable patients and a median overall survival of 7.8 months,with a manageable toxicity *** analysis of pretreatment tumors revealed that neurotrophic receptor tyrosine kinase 2(NTRK2)was negatively associated with afatinib sensitivity and might serve as a predictive biomarker,irrespective of EGFR ***,knocking down or inhibiting NTRK2 sensitized ESCC cells to afatinib *** study provides novel findings on the molecular factors underlying afatinib resistance and indicates that afatinib has the potential to become an important treatment for metastatic ESCC patients.
