An inorganicDorganic hybrid crystalline material(SiMo_(12)O_(40))[Cu(2,2'-bipy)_(2)]_(2)·2H_(2)O(Complex 1,2,2'-bipy=2,2'-bipyridine)was synthesized for the first time by using 2,2'-bipy and transition metal copper to convert Waugh-type polyoxometalate[MnMo_(9)O_(3)_(2)]_(6-)into a Keggin polyoxometalate structure[SiMo_(12)O_(40)]^(4-)under hydrothermal conditions in glass *** crystal tests and a series of characterizations were carried out on Complex *** structure of Complex 1 is composed of[SiMo_(12)O_(40)]^(4-)and[Cu^(Ⅱ)(2,2'-bipy)_(2)]^(2+).The five-coordinated Cu is connected to two 2,2'-bipy through CuDN bonds,forming an approximately square ***,Complex 1 exhibited good photocatalytic performance for methylene blue degradation and electrocatalytic nitrite reduction properties simultaneously.

AIM:To elucidate whether differences exist in the impact on retarding the elongation of axial length(AL)among children with myopia when utilizing orthokeratology(ortho-k)lenses employing the corneal refractive therapy(CRT)design versus those employing the vision shaping treatment(VST)***:This retrospective clinical trial aimed to collect and analyze AL data from individuals who wore ortho-k lenses for three years.A total of 654 subjects were enrolled and prescribed one of the three specific brands of ortho-k lenses:CRT,Euclid,and *** study’s primary focus was to compare the rates of AL elongation and myopic progression across these three brands of ortho-k ***:In the 3-year follow-up,the AL elongation exhibited variations of 0.73±0.36 mm in the CRT lens group,0.59±0.37 mm in the Euclid lens group,and 0.63±0.38 mm in the Mouldway lens group.A noteworthy disparity emerged between the CRT and Mouldway groups(Pgroups(Pgression of myopia,in contrast to 47.2%in the Euclid group and 44.4%in the Mouldway *** analyses revealed a statistically significant distinction between the CRT and Euclid groups(Pgroup demonstrated a statistically significant difference when compared to the Mouldway group(Pgmatic strategy for mitigating the advancement of *** contradistinction to ortho-k lenses utilizing the CRT design,those employing the VST design exhibited a more favorable impact regarding retarding AL elongation.

BACKgROUND The neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio(NLR)has been reported as a novel predictor for atherosclerosis and car-diovascular *** study aimed to determine the effects of NLR on long-term clinical outcomes of chronic total occlusion(CTO)*** A total of 670 patients with CTO who met the inclusion criteria were included at the end of the follow-up *** were divided into tertiles according to their baseline NLR levels at admission:low(n=223),intermediate(n=223),and high(n=224).The incidence of major adverse cardiac events(MACEs)during the follow-up period,including all-cause death,nonfatal myocardial infarction(MI),or ischemia-driven revascularization,were compared among the three *** Major adverse cardiac events were observed in 27 patients(12.1%)in the low tertile,40(17.9%)in the intermediate tertile,and 61(27.2%)in the high NLR tertile(Pgnificantly higher incidence of MACE,ischemia-driven coronary revascularization,non-fatal MI,and mortality in patients within the high tertile than those in the low and intermediate groups(all Pgression analysis showed that the high tertile of baseline NLR level showed a strong association with the risk of MACE(hazard ratio[HR]=2.21;95%confidence interval[CI]:1.21-4.03;P=0.009),ischemia-driven coronary revascularization(HR=3.19;95%CI:1.56-6.52;P=0.001),MI(HR=2.61;95%CI:1.35-5.03;P=0.043)and mortality(HR=3.78;95%CI:1.65-8.77;P=0.001).CONCLUSION Our findings suggest that NLR is an inexpensive and readily available biomarker that can independently pre-dict cardiovascular risk in patients with CTO.

Here,we present a unique method to enhance the low-frequency absorption performance of a honeycomb absorber by integrating a *** geometrical dimensions of the proposed metasurface have been numerically *** introduction of the metasurface allows exploitation of its robust resonance and superior impedance matching in low-frequency bands,thereby improving microwave absorption *** incorporation of the metasurface does not impact the wave transmission performance of the honeycomb core absorber at high-frequency band,thus preserving its high-frequency *** broadens the absorption range,leading to an expanded *** results reveal that the composite absorber(CA)exhibits strong absorption performance with an incident angle stability up to 45°for both transverse electric(TE)and transverse magnetic(TM)*** absorption mechanism of the CA has been investigated by using an equivalent circuit model and electromagnetic field analysis.A prototype was designed,fabricated,and tested to validate the proposed *** simulation and measurement results demonstrate that the prototype can achieve an average absorption rate exceeding 90%across a 1.0-18.0 gHz *** study introduces an innovative technique for creating microwave absorbers for low-frequency wideband applications.

The cancer cell metastasis is a major death reason for patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Although researchers have disclosed that interleukin 17(IL-17)can increase matrix metalloproteinases(MMPs)induction causing NSCLC cell metastasis,the underlying mechanism remains *** the study,we found that IL-17 receptor A(IL-17RA),p300,p-STAT3,Ack-STAT3,and MMP19 were up-regulated both in NSCLC tissues and NSCLC cells stimulated with IL-17.p300,STAT3 and MMP19 overexpression or knockdown could raise or reduce IL-17-induced p-STAT3,Ack-STAT3 and MMP19 level as well as the cell migration and *** investigation revealed that STAT3 and p300 bound to the same region(−544 to−389 nt)of MMP19 promoter,and p300 could acetylate STAT3-K631 elevating STAT3 transcriptional activity,p-STAT3 or MMP19 expression and the cell mobility exposed to ***,p300-mediated STAT3-K631 acetylation and its Y705-phosphorylation could interact,synergistically facilitating MMP19 gene transcription and enhancing cell migration and ***,the animal experiments exhibited that the nude mice inoculated with NSCLC cells by silencing p300,STAT3 or MMP19 gene plus IL-17 treatment,the nodule number,and MMP19,Ack-STAT3,or p-STAT3 production in the lung metastatic nodules were all ***,these outcomes uncover that IL-17-triggered NSCLC metastasis involves up-regulating MMP19 expression via the interaction of STAT3-K631 acetylation by p300 and its Y705-phosphorylation,which provides a new mechanistic insight and potential strategy for NSCLC metastasis and therapy.

Seventeen undescribed lindenane-related sesquiterpenoid dimers,chlorajaponins A—Q(1—17),and 13 reported analogs(18—30)were isolated from Chloranthus japonicus *** 1 possesses an unprecedented 3/5/7/5/5/6/5/3 fused octacyclic scaffold,featuring a 6(5→4)-abeo-lindenane monomer,while 2 exhibits a 3/5/6/6/5/6/5/3 fused octacyclic *** structures were determined through a combination of spectroscopic analyses and X-ray *** 1,2,and 18 demonstrated significant inhibitory effects on lipid accumulation and effectively reduced the levels of triglycerides and total cholesterol,as well as the levels of aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase in a Hepg2 cell *** addition,compounds 1,2,and 18 significantly suppressed the protein expression of the fatty acid synthase(FASN)and the sterol regulatory element-binding protein 1(SREBP1).Moreover,the anti-inflammatory assay showed that compounds 19—22 and 25 inhibited the NO production induced by lipopolysaccharide in RAW 264.7 macrophages with IC50 values of 7.89±0.44,6.25±0.46,2.98±0.29,10.77±0.60,and 3.60±0.28μmol/L.
